The Astor Restaurant - Corpus Christi - Photo album

Looks can be deceiving..This place was awesome. Lots of food and was delicious. My Sister took us there and forgot about all the extras they start you off with..needless to say, we were beyond stuffed when we left. Steaks very made to order and very good.
This has to be one of Corpus' best kept secrets, so I'm going to spill. Food is very good & service was friendly & phenomenal. Gloria was our server & took excellent care of us, so make sure & ask for her. We were greeted by several staff members as if we were family & not just customers. We were se
It's an older place but don't let that fool you. My mom used to bring us here when we were young. The food is excellent and the portions are a lot. Home made and the service is pretty fast. The owners are usually there and they are hospitable. overall experience was outstanding and my wife said that
Steaks, seafood, burgers, chicken, gyros.. daily lunch specials ..great food and service..must try green goddess dressing with their homemade croutons. Also has a full bar and happy hour.
I stopped here for some fresh food after an exhausting drive, while staying at the hotel around the corner. This little place is amazing, the staff are super nice, and the food was amazing. (Highly recommend the Chicken fried chicken)
We went in a little after 9pm on a Friday. We were seated immediately, our waitress was friendly and very helpful with the menu options. We ordered seafood platter for 4 and it did not disappoint. Tons of food, homemade croutons with green godess dressing, fresh baked rolls with honey butter. Great sw
There is a dated look to the place. It looks like it's been there since 1957, which it has. The food is great. The service is exceptional. There was a funky smell that was overpowering the mesquite charcoal grill.
This place has very good food stakes were very tender cooked to profession. Everything came out hot. The salad was very very cold and very good. My wife loves the green goddess dressing which they are known for.
Good chicken fried steak. Best in Corpus by far. Great service. Reasonably priced for the amount and quality.
During my deployment to Texas, I was given , by locals, several places to eat. This place was one of them. I enjoyed the food and service. My greatest wish for them, would be a better location.
This was the best food I have had at Corpus Christi over my 5 days stay there. I ordered the baked flounder with couple sides. It tasted really good. Their bun with cinnamon butter was good too. I would definitely recommend!
I havent done a check in for a while. This restaurant was amazing. The service provided was loving friendly and on point. The food was delicious and serving size was perfect. I so recommend a visit or three.
I ordered the red snapper and my husband the cordon blue. The seasoning was excellent. Liked the garlic bread and rolled with cinnamon butter too.
1st time here, the food was delicious, service was excellent. Owner Nick is also the cook and makes sure that the food quality is up to expectations. Always forget about this place due to location but we will be going out of our way to go back and try something different every time.
Chicken fried chicken was very delicious and fisherman's platter was very good!!! Salad was great too plus server was spot on.
Steak was very fatty. Unable to eat most of it.. portion size was large. More like Cafe diner.
I loved the enchiladas and tamales here! Really good. Ill mark this as s favorite. Kinda different, they don't serve Chips and salsa when you sit diwn, they serve a complimentary soup of the day!! Really good soup too!
This is the first place we dined at on our vacation. Food was really good. But the service was even better! Couldn't recommend it enough!
