Fantastic local sandwich shop! Great tasting food made with fresh ingredients. The pastrami and the cubano are my all time favorites.

Place was unique & very cute. It had a amazing menu & served quickly. Staff was nice & friendly. The homemade chips were AMAZING & had a nice sweet, tangy, & hint of spice favor, which made a great flavor for sandwich. The sandwich was hands down Fabulous. Great portion size, as well as flavor to all the ingredients. Overall I would never hesitate to come back to enjoy the selections of sandwiches they have to offer.

Wonderful breakfast burrito (without the tortilla and potatoes LOL). Still very filling without the other items.

Short line and very friendly cashier. Food is reasonably priced(around $10 for a decent sized hot sandwich with homemade BBQ chips). Food came out quick, hot, and tasty. I wasn't expecting much from a sandwich shop in uptown, but they are fantastic. Saw afterword that a lot of the meat is cooked in house. My only issue is that it's not closer to my house

Great locally owned Lunch spot. Hot and cold food items include Cubano and pulled pork sandwich. They also have soups and salads. All the items I have tried have good flavor and nice portions.

So, I came in from Austin and was looking for a good lunch spot. I was told we should go here, so alas, we did. The menu is extensive, but not overly so. The food was on point... the Cubano was the perfect blend of juicy and savory, and was cooked perfectly. All of the food was real and you could tell it was handled with care. I even got to talk to the owner who has an outstanding passion for what he does. There's definitely love behind the food. The environment is a winner here. You don't find places like this in Corpus Christi; and I'm not sure if it's because people are afraid to venture out, or just don't care about the food they eat. Everyone deserves good food... I'm looking forward to seeing how the scene in CC evolves in the coming years because of places like this! The service was awesome as well. No complaints. Honestly, if I lived in Corpus Christi, I'd be here nearly daily. You should go. Check it out. I recommend it.

Great place that pays attention to detail in everything they do. Their twist on a Reuben sandwich was a surprise, but enjoyable all the same. The bread, corned beef, pickles and accompanying chips were all made on site. Same story for the muffeletta and the the artisanal PB&J the rest of our party got. Be warned that limited seating and long meal prep times can lead to a wait during the lunch rush.

Best downtown lunch spot. If you're in a rush, call your order in ahead of pick up or show up early. There is always a line, but that's because it is worth it. Kris, the owner, takes great pride in his work. Ask about the special, sometimes it's not advertised, but is always an amazing creation. Meats are done in house and produce is locally sourced. Support small business. By the way if this one isn't close enough to you, try the location downtown or the new Southside location in the Kleberg Bank building.

THE best place to get sandwiches in corpus, possibly all of south Texas. This shop honestly elevates my opinion of Corpus itself. It is a little pricey but if you at all think that good food and ingredients are worth a little more, this is the place that champions the notion. They have specials all the time and they are fantastically unique, things that sound not very good (meatloaf sandwich?) end up being PHENOMENAL. I had a chat with the owner a while back and his passion for food and expanding the idea of what a sandwich can do is great. Best pastrami I've had outside of Katz's in Houston and I'm not convinced it is any worse. Best cranberry sandwich ... ever. Best Ham and Pimiento. Best insane specials. The only thing bad about this place is the parking situation. Being downtown they have no parking at all, it all street meter parking. My wife and I sometimes park much further on the lower level at some of the free spaces and walk if it's a nice day, but if you bring a couple quarters .50 cents is enough for 40 mins and again well worth the extra cost. I would love expanded hours, and weekend time. I am on nightshift and I have to lose about an hour or two of sleep to stay up till they open or wake up early (for me), and hell I do it sometimes. If they were open till 9pm and on weekends... my god the money I would lose. A small other nitpick, the chips CAN be some of the best chips Ive ever had, and maybe it is the earliness of my arrival but the quality of them waffles a lot. Occasionally they taste like soap? Often they taste like the best chips ever. This sounds like Im some crazy fanboy because what how do you make such good chips? I barely even like chips!

My wife and I tried this place today, and the food was amazingly good, fresh, the atmosphere is so modern and very clean as well as organized! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and very good service! We will be returning back again and spreading the word, we need more places like this in c.c.!

So, good! They make all their main stuff, so fresh tasting and they have the touch with their hand cut potato chips! They have ruined every other sandwich place for me, that's for sure!!

Good sandwich reasonably priced. Relatively fast and delicious. Definitely worth a try! Parking isn't great, but not much they can do on that.

Had the hot roast beef, swapped out the cheddar for Mozzarella, horseradish sauce was killer. Homemade potato chips on point. All around great lil joint.
