Awesome food and service!! The best place to go for consistently great food. It's always good!! Will not disappoint you!!
My family and I have been move in Texas almost one year. This is the best restaurant that we love it in Texas so far . we heard about this restaurant was from friends recommended to us.I remember that the first time I had pad Thai it was really delicious and very nice service. Lately we come here almost every week . A very nice n clean restaurant + delicious food + very friendly service = I would like recommend to all of u come to try it and u ll love this place !
Food is amazing. To be exact, its pho king delicious
Excellent service.. beef was cooked a little longer which makes big difference in flavor. It was delicious
The fresh spring rolls are huge and the homemade sauce that comes with them is 1 of a kind. Will definitely be back.
We love it! Everyone that we have dealt with is very nice! Once you order the food comes to table very quickly, usually before you finish your soup!
Amazing green curry and almond chicken! Egg rolls and fried rice too! Service excellent!
If you have friends that are undecided whether to eat Chinese or Vietnamese, worry not. You are in luck dining with the Bamboo Garden. Nice atmosphere, good service, tasty foods, and reasonable prices were our experience.
Choosing to order from the Vietnamese menu, my partner and I chose the Cha Gio for our appetizer. These are "Imperial Rolls" with pork, taro root, carrots, jicama (turnip?), fungi, and bean threads. These were very good.
For our entrees, we ordered the ones that come in the clay pots. My partner chose the Com Tay Cam Thit Bo - steak, mushrooms, onions, and shallots. I chose the Com Tay Cam Thap Cam - chicken, shrimp, and mushrooms. Both of these meals were flavorful. The Ca Phe Den (coffee) is also worth experiencing.
Bamboo Garden Counter. This is the child to Bamboo Garden, located a few doors down next to Origami Sushi. Lighter fare, lunch counter.
I finally get to write a good review. I found the food to be fresh, hot, and imaginative. Great flavor combos and hard to decide what to get. Had fish soup with a fresh tasting nice light broth. Aldo tried a side of Jap Chain, a noodle dish well worth getting.
One of the best features is the counter help, informative, friendly, and act like they care! They were very patient with me, guiding me through the menu and coming to my table to see if I like everything and see if I required anything else. This is a place where there is not table service, order at counter and sometimes pick- up.
Very clean restrooms, kitchen( open) and dining.
I will be back!
It's good to come back again. Not all their food are good. But some I really like, their curry dish really good, the tapioca pearl drink make me come back for more and pho soup was good . Friendly service and they have big menu, so a lot to choose from. Not a lot of choices on dim sum and they tasted okay.
OMG 16 years of this place and its always a favorite ,Best Lettuce Wraps in town,Hot n Sour Soup Mmm .Chicken Pho is so good .Gen. Chow chicken or shrimp is great.k enough I'm getting hungry I better stop .Oh ask for Lina best waitress at the BG.
2nd Best of the Best!. The food is good but 2nd to Taiwan Restaurant. I honestly don't know who they have in their pocket to win so many awards year after year. Priced on the high side but again, food is good, just not Super good. Lemon chicken is tops, sweet and sour shrimp. Nice environment, friendly staff.
Really, really good. Really big menu. I think stir fry can be the same at alot of oriental places, but their's seems to be good most of the time. Waitstaff is friendly, it is a bit pricier than most hole-in the wall type places, but there's value because of the portions.
If I were to complain about something is they seem to run out of stuff often.
Consistently, my reliable choice. I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years. I have watched it expand over time. I love their combination fried rice, their egg-drop soup and their Vietnamese clay pot. They always make things spicy for me, even though it is not listed, as such, on the menu. I frequently order to-go and see myself continuing to go there for years to come.
Excellent food!. Great food and atmosphere. A fun place to eat. Very nice waitstaff. Will definitely go back!
Consistently great food~. Everything we order is good. We have never had a bad meal here. The staff is great, they know their foods and are extremely attentive. Even to go orders are handled with care and packed so well not to spill the precious commodity! We are for the east coast and its hard to find food comparable and the servings are big! The Pad Thai I order with tofu & eggplant, the H1 Xao Bo, I know it as Chow Fun beef with scallions and noodles delish! The kids love the tapiocca drinks with jellies. We try to make it at least a couple of times a month
My favorite restaurant. Well, really enjoy with Vietnamses chicken wings and general tso chicken. Bamboo is the best
Great food! Hot and sour soup is great along with all the rest of the menu!
The Best. I have eaten here many times. Always good. Worth the price. Great selection. Always have more than I can eat. The service is good.
Consistantly Good Food. Great food, big portions, and priced right. The luncheon combo's are a fantastic deal. Egg drop soup is the best in town, and service is usually good in spite of the place being crowded most of the time. Never been disappointed here.
I agree w/ prev postings. By far the best in corpus, a bit pricey but very big portions. My advice is for 2 to split an entree or be prepared for a doggy bag and lunch the next day...
Agree with other review. Not the most amazing chinese food but best in town. Overpriced but they do give large portions.
Best Vietnamese soup ANYWHERE...enough to share
Pretty good, not the most amazing Chinese food in the world but if you're looking for something that won't make you sick and is better than panda express, Bamboo Garden is a good choice for takeout ore dining in.
Went for a lunch time meal... food came out extremely quick. I definitely recommend the hot sour soup.
The 'spicy' foods weren't really that spicy, but they had good flavor.
It was a decent all around experience, I wouldn't exactly recommend this place, but I won't discourage it either.
We went for lunch and had the combo plate with Hunan Chicken and Sweet and Sour pork. The wife and I split it, it’s a large portion and perfect for the 2 of us. Service was quick and the food delicious. It’s always a pleasure to come here.
Love this place! Great portions of food for the price. Also very family friendly. My 2 yr old daughter was not wanting to sit in the booth because she wanted to see the fish in their aquarium and the lady behind the counter took her over to see the fish tank and made her day.
Great food. Didn't like having to pay credit card fee. That is the restaurant's cost of doing business. You don't have to handle count deposit money so the credit card fee makes it easier for you. Just like customers should not have to pay for prorated costs for utilities, rent, labor and operations, all that is interlaced in the menu prices. What about customers that pay cash, is that fee amount already on the check deducted?????
We have gone here for years and I have never had a bad dish. My husband had a seafood soup and I had pepper steak and sweet and sour pork and I took half mine home ( and this was a lunch portion) The wonton soup was outstanding , sometimes on wonton soup there is no flavor to the broth not with this one , it was delicious and I added no soy sauce , or salt and pepper. The service was quick and very attentive .
walked in at the end of lunch menu. 3:25 lunch menu is over at 3:30. Very kind of them, They let us order off lunch prices which was great. Food is so fresh, so tasty and quick turn around. Prices are fair. Service was very good. We were quite pleased today. Definitely a good place to eat. Overall 8.5 out of 10
This place is middle of the road Chinese food and the service is good. I was a bit disappointed when I ordered Thai chicken. It was basically breaded chicken with lumpia sauce on the side. Not Thai chicken whatsoever. The fire was okay but didn't have any vegetables in it at all.
Excellent service, brought out our appetizers very quickly. The spicy Thai noodles and sesame chicken plates were very good and very filling. Very generous plate sizes, took some home for a snack later. 10/10 would come back.
We used bamboo garden to cater our elopement and it was perfect!!! They have large party trays to serve 10-15 people along with a small tray of rice but tbh they serve so much more!! We’ve been eating there for years and wanted something familiar/sentimental and tasty. Their clay pot and general tsos tofu are my fave but they honestly have such a good and expansive menu.
Second time there in a very long time, the waitress was very nice and funny, the food was okay, I didn't like the soup, it was made with raw yolk. I almost vomit 🤢 combination rice was okay. my daughter got combination noddles plate.I am giving it 4 starts just because of the waitress she was very nice
food, not really, and it was kinda hot inside there..
The food was super good. The service was great. I would definitely recommend it. 10/10.
A friend went to lunch on Saturday food was great atmosphere was great too. Enjoyed our meal and added carry-out as well. Thank you
Large serving sizes. Good prices. Pad Thai with Chicken is great. Chicken wings are wonderful!
Delicious food....the best waitress as always 😋 (String Bean Pork)
First time so a little skeptical, but it was actually delicious 😋 combination lo mein was very tasty and plenty of beef, chicken and pork! Excellent!!
