Excellent food, excellent service, facility so-so, but definitely worth going. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Corpus Christi. Don't have a favorite, it's all good.

Nice place. Great food. Spicy if you want it. Can be busy. Never had a bad meal four visits. Always treated nice.
The breakfast tacos are delicious and the flour tortilla is super soft ! Cheap, fast, and friendly environment .
Great service and food!. My Mom, a friend, and I ate at El Sol de Mexico today and I was pleasantly surprised. Not a fancy place but those are usually the best. Rosie was our waitperson and she was excellent. The food was authentic and very tasty. Salsa had a bit of a kick and could have been more spicy for me (but then it would be too spicy for everyone else!).
We will definitely be back.
Great texture, creamy balance of the leche and cake with a swirl f chocolate sauce and whipped cream. Large portion for 2-3 ppl to share!
Everything I've eaten here has been amazing. I've gone back multiple times and this is now my favorite little Mexican food place in town. I've eaten every seafood dish they've offered and every single one, i would order again! The waitresses are nice and attentive too.
Menudo is very rich in flavors, but definitely have to appreciate the waitresses. There very kind as well as helpful assist with the most common questions. Hot food, but on time. The fresh ingredients and delivered to the table looking beautifully prepared. Enjoy there customer service. 😊
Food is always out super fast! Very fresh, decent prices, tortillas are amazing, a lot of seating. Highly recommend tortilla soup!

Great place for a quick bite. They are always quick! Everything comes out bursting with flavor, fresh and hot. Their taquitos Mexicanos are delicious 😋 I highly recommend them.

Right from the start, we had excellent service and the chips & salsa are by far the best I've had in at least the last 4 years. Ordered the caldo d mariscos and damn it man....it was on point. Very very well satified
We go for breakfast tacos fast and really good. We just don’t like their refried beans.
I went to Sol for lunch and had the gorditas con fajitas. Dam it was good and very tasty. I asked for the habana sauce to put on the gordita which was also good. I have to throw something in which has nothing to do with the meal but all the ladies working in there are very pretty. They promptly take care of the table and very good to look at.
I love the food as it is always consistent and good tasting. My issue, I am not hispanic/mexican and some do not speak English. I have to get someone to translate which should not have to happen in the US.
Also I have found out that the SVC fee of 3% is only to be charged on Credit cards and NOT DEBIT NOR Prepaid cards.
I always us a DEBIT card ( clearly marked on my card as DEBIT) and get charged for the SVC fee anyways. This is illegal and MUST STOP immediately! You need to teach your cashiers to read the cards before swiping or tapping.

The surcharge may only be imposed upon credit cards, and not debit or prepaid cards. The amount of the surcharge may not exceed the amount of the swipe fee paid by the merchant on the particular credit card.

The customer service here is the best! You feel like part of the family by the time you leave! This restaurant is a hidden treasure for lunch and dinner!
Hands down the best fish tacos I’ve had in a long time. The coleslaw was perfect, and I personally prefer my fish tacos not to be breaded and that’s what they had, and I was blown away by the quality! Would high recommend their tacos, it was my first time going and I feel like I just found a local gem!
