Must Say My Neighbor Insisted on Taking me there , (THE NAME HAD ME) but I'm Not Big on this Kinda Uncooked Fish(SUSHI) but there were other Things Like the "NAME SAKE" DRUNKN' NOODLES (and again Staying away from Starchy Carbs, but The Waiter was ON POINT , explained to Him What My Regime was and He Hooked Me Up, Even with a GOOD SPICY PLUM SAUCE,never thought I'd be Eating this Either !!!!, between the Emperor Wraps for $5.95 and the Combo DRUNK'N NOODLES @$15.95 , I have enough for three different breakfast/Lunch and Dinners........The Last time I was eating Sushi was with My Dear friend "T" at Jilly's and would Only (I THOUGHT , GO AS FAR ASA California Roll) yeah ! RIGHT, two Weeks Home from Colledge and a FRIENDSHIP BOTTLE OF KETTLE ONE, at about 10a.m. when I finally rolled My eye's Open to Kettle and Lemonades , "T" asked Me so? how did a NON-SUSHI eating Kinda Guy Like the 13(yes,13) different rolls we polished off.......wondered about the Fishy taste in my mouff , (NAH!) but 5 ****** across the Board, on DRUNK'N NOODLE, and they had a Nutrient Menu , Still only had Half My allowed Carbs for Dinner, But No "T"(Rest in Peace" ) NO KETTLE ONE.........most of my story about My Experience with a DRUNK'N X-CON ,with the Muchies that ate Every Sushi Roll on the Menu , but Never remembered it, to Telling everyone with the Negative reviews , You Don't know what your Talking About" DRUNK'N NOODLES will Be highly recommended by me to anybody That Can Hear............SALUTE , to Stan and "T" at there Place on Walton "Jilly's" continued on to Corpus Christi,Tx

While enjoying one of our favorite restaurants in the Coastal Bend, Rock and Rolls Sushi, we had the opportunity to speak with the chef and owner, David Lee. The guy LOVES to talk food and shared with us that we had to go check out Drunkn’Noodlez. He explained that “Mama K” would hook us up with something spicy hot and delicious. Well, you can’t get a more solid referral than from a chef, right?
There are heat options when selecting your food and we went with “native” for our Chicken Panang Red Curry. HOT! Not enough to kill the flavor, but enough to give you hiccups and a drippy nose. The coconut conveys in each bite and the spices combine to give the dish a depth and richness you don't often find. If you're accustomed to soft veggies, open your mind - veggies are cooked al dente. Fresh flavors and a delight to the senses. But really, the sauce is what makes this dish epic! This might be the only place in town actually using kafiri lime leaves and true galanga root. You just don’t get more authentic than that!
While we would love to keep the blog about the dish (because really, the dish was amazing!), we were surprised by what we found when we stumbled inside the restaurant. The ambiance was not what you expect – it had a more upscale feel than the kitschy font and name would lead you to believe. If you haven’t already enjoyed the cuisine at Drunkn’Noodlez, head on over and prepare yourself for some authentic Thai dishes that are certain to make you drool!

Worth the drive. I love this place...it's so far out of my way, but I still make the trip because it's delicious! the only thing I didn't love was the tempura sushi, but their noodle dishes and curries are fantastic! Cool atmosphere...I haven't dined in yet but plan to in the future.
We started off with the edamame which were totally addictive! The pad thai noodles and drunken noddles were wonderful! Delicious! Service was very attentive and friendly :-)
I'm shocked people have something bad to say about this place. I always enjoy my dishes and the strawberry beer! The drunken noodles are my absolute favorite!!
The salmon sashimi was pretty bad, the cuts were a poor quality. The maki rolls and speciality rolls were decent. The edamame was very delicious. The service was good and the waiter was polite and always checking on us.

Sadly inconsistent sushi. It's either perfect or looks as if my 4 year old prepared it. We wish we could come on the "perfect nights", cause its so good!

Drunkn' Noodlez Asian Restaurant. Being in the mood for something Asian, we pulled in to Drunkn' Noodlez for dinner recently. If you have not eaten here yet, you really need to make plans. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Service was somewhat "leisurely," but but very friendly.
With all the choices on the menu, it was difficult to make a decision. As an appetizer, we went with the Creamy Crab Puffs. Very good. My partner eventually chose the Beef Lahd Nah, while I decided on the Shrimp Pahd Tai. We also split a bowl of Pho Supreme soup. Everything was well-prepared and had incredible flavors. You can choose the degree of hot/spicy, by the way.
Amazingly flavorful. This place has amazingly good food. The flavor is incredible and if you like heat they can accommodate you till your hearts content! Just tell them you want it Hot!
The food is consistently very good. The staff is friendly but service, whether dining in or getting carry-out, is s l o w every time I go. I can't think of another restaurant that keeps me sitting and waiting needlessly every single time.
Finally! Great Asian food in CC!. This has become our new favorite restaurant! We are very picky about where we eat, and do not care for most chain restaurants. This place stands out, the food is homemade. All the sauces are from scratch, and it makes a difference in the quality. We have had the honey sesame chicken which is now my fave. My husband loved the red volcano. All of the rice dishes are excellent, especially the pineapple paradise. The sushi is very good too. Our 2 year old son eats every bite, once the food is at the table, he is only concerned with eating. They also have great drink specials.

Sensational!. Tried it for the first time today, had the asian sensation salad for two and it was FANTASTIC. Also had the fried rice with pork - excellent. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend both of those dishes.
Decent food, but not fantastic. The sushi is good, but Yoshi and The Sushi Bar are better (and less expensive). It's small and loud. The service was slow and we had to ask the bartender to find our waiter. The waitstaff is a diservice to them. It could have been better. I would give it another try though.
Spring rolls were fresh. Tom yum soup was flavorful & delightfully spicy.
Perfect. One of my Corpus Christi favorites for thai/asian cuisine. Been there 20-30 times since it opened. Never had a bad experience. The service is always personalized and friendly with a laid back comfortable ambiance. Perhaps the only asian restaurant in Corpus Christi that can make an order to my taste (extra spicy). Wish i could eat there every day.
FANTASTIC!. The vegetable noodle soup is so fresh and has great flavor. They have the sushi roll I can never remember the name, and at one point it wasn't in the menu - something Cat - has mango and the topp is speckeled with cooked fish skin . Its like its own bacon just fantastic.
Went there on spur of the moment decision. I had the drunken noodles, which was pretty good. Spicy, but not bad. Sushi was going to take 45 min, which was rediculous, but we goto Imperial for sushi anyways.
Delicious. My friends and I just loved this place. I had the signature dish. Prepared well and came to the table hot. Soup was eggdrop and was yummy. Waitress was prompt and pleasant. This was my second time there. This time much better then the last. We will return again in two weeks.
Sherry. We LOVE this place. We have been there several times and each time was greeted personally by the owners and have had good service. Once the order took longer than 20 minutes, but the food was fresh, hot and well worth the wait.
It was good.. Ate there once and enjoyed it. Our son goes to the art of defense school just down in the same shopping center so its close by for us to just stop in for a bite. Prices were good. Food very flavorful. Recommended.
Great egg rolls. Although they call them something else they're still egg rolls & they are Delicious! I am addicted. Sushi is good too and its a nice place to take your family.
Small...er..."Intimate" Dining and EXCELLENT food!. If you're in the mood for one of the best kept secrets in Corpus Christi, you HAVE to try Drunkn' Noodlez in Town & Country Shopping Center. There may not be a lot of tables in the place, but the food is WELL worth any wait you may have. We got lucky and got there early.
Sushi recommendations? The "Dancing Crab" and the "Ménage à Trois." And then you have GOT to get their signature "Drunkn' Noodlez" dish. If you like spicy, you'll LOVE this dish! Decent prices that are comparable with the better sushi places in town.

Lovely Experience. I had heard about Drunkn'Noodlez in a conversation one nite and then i looked it up on urbanspoon.com and my husband and i decided to check in on this place.first i called to see what time they closed,and it was Mary that answered,she was so wonderful and hoped to see me soon.i advised the waitress that we had spoken to Mary on the phone and soon enough,Mary made a quick stop at our table and introduced herself to us.i thought that was LOVELY and somewhat lost around here in corpus.Dennis as well checked up on us and gave us a great run down on the restaurant and also suggested great dishes.I had the phad thai with beef and my husband had the honey sesame chicken.for appetizers we had chicken n shrimp spring rolls!!! mmm,everything was lovely.we had a wonderful dinner experience there.thank you guys for treating us sooo great!!!!
Amazing!. My husband and I ate lunch there last weekend and discovered some of the most authentic Thai food in the States. We both shared the Drunken Noodles and the Thai Curry and cleaned our plates despite the amount spice and volume that was provided. Our server was great, he suggested us to go with a roll, I believe it was called the Dancing Crab, it was die for.
Hot Pot Shrimp to die for. Just returned from a wonderful meal at Drunkn' Noodlez and we were all pleased with our meals. The Hot Pot Shrimp was a delicious blend of spicy, sweet and saltiness. The shrimp were seared to perfection and the sauce and vegetables had just the right touch of spice. I would recommend this dish to anyone who likes seafood.
Pan-Asian at its finest!. At Drunkn'NoodleZ, we are dedicated to providing our customers with the freshest ingredients and quality service. We're definitely not a fast food restaurant! Our friendly and sophisticated staff focuses on getting to know each customer on a first name basis and also to deliver first class service to each table they greet.

She's a Thai native and has been the restaurant industry for over 25 years. Chef Kay (Thongkham) is limitless when it comes to preparing AUTHENTIC THAI FOOD. Some may object to her spice levels but she can beyond any doubt "wok" up a dish for every palate!

Great Place. My wife and I really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. Our waitress was polite. We grew tired of all the "chinese buffets" in the area and this is a nice welcome. I had the drunkn noodles with beef and #2 spice level. My wife had the teriyaki fried rice with chicken. We did think that the prices are a little high, but the amount of food you are given justifies the price. If you don't agree then you need to head on over to a buffet bar instead. I do recommend this place!
B Day Dinner. I heard about this place thru Urbanspoon and decided to try it for dinner on my birthday! I couldn't decide what to get so me and my wife tried a little bit of everything. I ordered the Drunkin' Dragon roll and the Lahd Nah. Wife had the Pahd Thai and the Honey Sesame Chicken. Everything tasted AMAZING but if you're into sushi you MUST have the Drunkin Dragon roll! Sticky white rice with avocado + eel = The Bomb! Our waitress was C.A.F and had plenty of recommendations for the wife who is scared to try things for the first time. Big bonus, turns out a friend of mine is the hostess!! Going back for sure!
Birthday Dinner. My first experience was Sept 09 took my lil' Sis there for her birthday. Wow! The food was delicious. I tried "Edamame" for the first time. I enjoyed the atmosphere and experience so much I am having dinner there for my birthday tonight.

It really is OMG good. So, maybe I'm a little biased in that I know the owner very well. I state that as this isn't a shill review in the least. The restaurant isn't perfect by any means. They have service missteps, the staff occasionally get distracted and customers aren't taken care of in as timely a manner as they might be, the kitchen gets backed up and on rare occasions I've seen it take 20 minutes for an entree to come out. But those are exceptions. By and large the service is very good to excellent and as mentioned before, the owners are very personally involved and always talking to their customers to ensure they are happy.
The reason I love it so much? Oh lordy, the FOOD! The sushi, while very good, is not what they're best at. It's the Thai and other entrees that are simply second to none.
I've been all over the world, and have had Southeast Asian food in locations as varied as San Francisco, New York, Mexico City (surprisingly, excellent), London, Paris, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. This ranks with the best I've had. Perhaps not in pomp and circumstance but it's not that kinda restaurant.
Back to the food; the chef hails from Thailand and if you're a curry or soup fan... you'll be blown away. Even mundane dishes such as phad thai are extremely well done and walk the fine line of having hints of sweetness without being cloying. The hot pot dishes are truly amazing, my fave is the Hot Pot lobster.
I don't want to seem dismissive of the sushi, but while it's very good the other items on the menu are superlative whereas the sushi is just very competitive. But, I appreciate that. They aren't just a sushi bar, and aren't trying to be.
Don't let the strip-center location turn you off, either. Unassuming from the outside, superbly tasteful and understated on the inside. It does get a bit loud when it's crowded but I find the atmosphere to be very convivial. Perhaps not the place to go for a romantic secluded dinner for two, yet excellent for just about anything else.

Drunkn' Noodlez is a rare triple threat in the Corpus Christi dining scene: great atmosphere, attentive staff, and (most importantly) quality food. The owner also seems to have a very hands-on approach in ensuring that each guest has a favorable experience. Drunkn' Noodlez is now my go-to place for delicious Asian cuisine.
Will definitely go back. There are more than a handful of sushi restaurants in corpus but not to say that all of them are worth trying. Me and my husband went to Drunkn Noodlez for the first time tonight and had a great experience. The server was awesome, the owner was inviting, and the sushi was great! We'll definitely go again to try more of the menu.
Amazing.. We went around 4:30pm on a Sunday afternoon for dinner. The place is very chic & the food is second to none. I could see this place getting awards for best Thai / Sushi in the City quite easily.
the waitress was incredibly fast with drink refills (I am the annoying guy that has 4 refills, yep, sorry) and incredibly attentive to other needs.
The food was incredibly fresh and the vegetables seriously tasted like they had just gotten them from the market.
I am not the best sushi reviewer, but we had the Alameda Roll and the Drunkin' Dragon (tempura) and it was fabulous, the best I had eaten so far in Corpus.
The place reminded me of the elegance of Virago in Nashville TN with better food than Jasmine in Nashville (both rated top of each of those categories)
I highly recommend Drunkin' Noodlez, and I hope my second and third and fourth +++ visits are halfway as good.
Just can't get enough. I have eaten here probably more than I should have, just can't get enough. Trying to completely sample the menu.
Tried something a little different this week, I let the owners order completely for me. They did an awesome job. I was pleased with their selections. The Thai dishes are hot, Sushi is very fresh & they are continually creating new rolls.
The atmosphere is very intimate & personal. Reminds me of a trendy little neighborhood spot off of Washington in Houston, TX.
We had a great experience. The service was awesome and super friendly. I loved the spice levels. A lot of places say the hottest level is spicy and for me, it usually is not. But I tried a level four out of five and it was perfect! Super spicy but not overbearing which is what I wanted. We ordered a soup dish, pineapple rice, and the Drunken noodles. The portions were large enough to share and we definitely will be back!
We've been here a couple of times already and have enjoyed it very much. Service was great, they were very attentive. The food was excellent, very flavorful. I had the Bahama Mama Specialty Sushi roll and it was delicious. They did not disappoint. A+ all the way around.
We LOVE this place. We've dined in many times but grabbed some to go, and the full flavor along with everything that makes this place special was definitely present. Another great local spot with a great owner who loves the Corpus Christi community.
Got the Drunken Noodles and Lahd Na spice level 2 (out of 5). Noodle craving satisfied!! So delicious with just the right amount of spice, fresh veggies and thick meat. Will definitely come back again! The lady who took my call for pickup was super nice, and when I got there welcomed me with a gentle smile. Food was ready in less than 15 mins.

Raul greeted us as soon as we entered and was very attentive to us as it was our first time there. He described the dishes we were ordering and the atmosphere of the restaurant was awesome. We ordered the spring rolls, honey sesame chicken and 4friends. The food came out hot and delicious, the portions are well worth the price and that homemade sauce is delicious I'll need more the next time we visit. I don’t come here often, but the service is always good, the food is not only great, but its presentation makes you feel like an A-lister! Today we had the best crab ragoons I’ve had in a long time, the classic drunken noodles, and mommas lo mien. All were amazing!
Incredibly friend staff. Prompt service and great food. Still waiting in TABC license but there is a Specs next door and you can grab a 6-pack or some Sake (they will even heat it for you). Good stuff. We got the signature lunch dish and the Garlic Basil Stir-fry. Both were delicious!
So so good! The dry wok with shrimp and extra Thai basil is my go to! They also offer Chris Hamilton Cellars wines here!

The BEST spring rolls I’ve ever had! The ingredients are so fresh. I order these for take out at least twice a week. Please don’t ever change the recipe down to the peanut sauce

This place is as good as you'll find in Corpus Christi. I haven't tried everything they've got but I've been there a few times and it's always been good with excellent customer service. I will be returning soon!
