Food is authentic Mexican food. Flour Tortillas are so good and the lemonade is homemade! Delicious! Breakfast all day is the best and they serve you enough. Tacos are big.
Service was great. Food was nice & hot. Flour tortillas were a little over cooked for my liking. Other than that no complaints.

Came to this place because of the reviews I deff recommend the tacos with carne asada they were delicious, the flavor was great. The quesadilla was mediocre and I think it’s cause I got chicken, I should of got beef I’m pretty sure it would of been way better. The green and red sauce are ok I expect

This menudo (see pictures) is the closest to homemade we have had since moving to Corpus Christ. The caldo had great flavor (not to spicy), and the hominy and meat were very tender and very clean. The onions, cilantro and limes were all in sep
The Chicharron plate was delicious as well as the menudo. Large portions of food for a small price…Enjoyed it so much I returned the very next day.
What a great find to stumble upon during my recent visit to the city. Google reviews certainly persuaded me to try out this popular taqueria. Alteños has been there for year's. The food flavor has never changed it's very GOOD. Great service very friendly people, the place looks simple but I definitely recommend it. Good for any time of the day breakfast,lunch or dinner.
