We loved this place. Hot mulled 🍷 really hit the spot on a cold night. Their menu is really great. The fresh greens for salads in winter was a real treat. I had onion soup with a spinach apple salad that was the best. The service is super friendly and quick. Nice ambiance as well.

Enjoyed the style of the place. Servers helpful and attentive, though not many diners in competing for attention. Started with the day's special salad ( with strawberries.) then delicious mushroom pasta with white wine sauce. And a jug of Earl Grey tea. Loved it all.

The wait seem a bit excessive at first but once my order came it was well worth it! Crimine mushroom in a white wine sauce with Parmesan. Fresh, creamy and delicious!

We had two nights in Cortez and ate dinner here both nights since the food and service was exceptional, and we couldn't try everything that we wanted to try in one sitting. The yak steak and relleno pie were our favorite entrees and the apple almond tart was our favorite dessert. We were so glad to find this gem and enjoy such delicious wholesome foods during our travels. I also want to add that they were family friendly, and our 5 year old really enjoyed the restaurant atmosphere and food just as much as we did.

This is the place every town needs but few have! Obviously the favorite for girls day out! No rancid grease odor, no outdated decor, no worn out menus! Everything modern, clean and bright. Wonderful grilled chicken

One of my Favorite Places to eat! Freshest foods, the Yak Burger was amazing! All Local fresh, meats, veggies, and the baked goods, cupcakes, eclairs, breads, are so good! I've always highly recommended them to everyone!

We stopped in for lunch for my family of 5 after seeing the menu online. Unfortunately, they were out of the meal I went there for (which happens at "fresh" restaurants), but I easily found something else! The service was very friendly and fast, and the food was fresh and tasty. My kids had burgers, which were pretty good, though not the best they've ever had. I ordered the house made black bean burger, which was out if this world delicious, especially for a bean burger! I also had the fried zucchini salad, which was good, especially the dressing. The fries were super good! I also really enjoyed the ambiance of the place, and the prices were very fair for the quality of food. Overall, we recommend giving this local spot a try!

We went there before leaving Cortez. The atmosphere was nice. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated even though there were plenty of empty tables, which many still had used dishes and glasses. They were clearly understaffed. But all the working staff were very friendly and did their best to serve. I had their Bratwurst. Both the pretzel bun and the pork bratwurst were not as fresh as they should be, but the flavor was good. My companion had a miso soup and it was just okay. It tasted a bit like they used the miso soup mix which you could buy at supermarket and added tofu and mushrooms. Because their staff were so friendly, we could see ourselves going back there if we ever return to Cortez.

Great place to eat after a long day in the park. Yak Ribeye was wonderful. Make a reservation, it’s busy.

Absolutely wonderful. Came in looking for hot food after camping for several weeks and tired al eating out of cans. Was dirty and muddy. At first, place was empty, early, so sat at bar. waitress was very pleasant. Talked for a bit. Then several large parties came in. Only 2 servers, but both came and checked on me several times. Food was delicious. French onion soup and chicken pot pie.. hot roll to die for. Specialty alcohol. Wonderful
