Din Tai Fung - Costa Mesa - Photo album

Din Tai Fung is iconic and lives up to its reputation. They have the best Chinese food around and you really can’t go wrong with their menu. The cucumber salad is a must to start and their peanut noodles are an overlooked triumph, but the rest of their menu is just as solid. Look for what you feel l
Din Tai Fung is a popular Taiwanese restaurant chain known for its delicious dumplings and other Chinese dishes. The South Coast Plaza location is one of the busiest and most popular locations, serving up its signature dishes to hungry patrons throughout the day. The restaurant is known for its eff
Absolutely delicious! 1st time here and will return for sure. Cucumber salad, pork chop fried rice and the spicy dumplings are my favorite! Great service also. Amanda was our server and she helped us with all the popular dishes. Will return for sure.
Great spot... Don't get me wrong... Reason for the lower stars... PRICE... Food, not bad, but not worth, after $26 tip, a $201 bill.... A few appetizers and a couple entrees, mixed in with $5 per drink of a 12 oz glass of iced tea later... A gut punch of a price tag for the food... So many great aut
Been to multiple Din Tai Fung’s and this one has been amazing as well. There was about a 30 minute wait to seat, but once in the service was great and food great as well. Definitely will be coming back to this location as everything tasted great and staff was wonderful as well. Din Tai Fung never di
Did take out for my first time and it was a very smooth pickup. The food was delicious and I had everything I needed to enjoy the meal back at my hotel. Din Tai Fung is so good at all the locations I've ever visited but tastes better for in person dining.
Great tasting food. Super authentic, along with an authentic experience. Our server Bane was great. On the expensive side, but good for the experience, and/or for a date night out. Very busy place, so try to reserve a table in advance.
Love the Vegetarian dumplings and food at Din Tai Fung. Of all the Vegetarian dumplings, I have found this restaurant to have the best vegan dumplings & vegan won tons. I've tried different dumpling restaurants and Din Tai Fung is far the best, pricey though. The food is fresh, the staff is friendly
Today, I went to this restaurant and ordered a selection of their signature dishes. The experience didn't quite meet my high expectations as the flavors were more Westernized with some twists compared to traditional Chinese cuisine. However, the dishes were delicately prepared, and the service was e
Excellent food! Excellent service, excellent atmosphere... no wonder this place is busy from the moment it opens to the moment it closes!!! I've been here a few times and it's ALWAYS busy! The wait wasn't long on a Tuesday afternoon ... but I'd avoid weekends if possible! My server Lily was "chef's
Lives up to the hype! Came around lunch on a weekend and had to wait about an hour but it was worth it. Everything was SO doglicious. We got: cucumber salad, hot and sour soup, green beans, shiu mai, pork soup dumplings, beef brisket noodle soup, spicy wontons (the chili oil sauce is to die for!!),
I rarely give any place a 5 star rating, but this one is well deserved. As expected, the soup dumplings are amazing, but their desserts make the meal! You have to try one of the chocolate buns!
Wonderful date spot with awesome dumplings! Lots of varieties, just take a look at the menu. You order various ones and have them delivered to your table as they are steamed, they won't all arrive at the same time. Very fun experience!
Excellent Taiwanese dumpling house. Made a reservation on google for mid afternoon and enjoyed a pleasant meal with the family. Their Pork Xiao Long Bao Dumplings and Shrimp & Pork Spicy Wontons were to die for. Don’t leave without trying the chocolate dumplings for desert (order both 😋). I will add
Nice place, nice staff, everything is great! the food is delicious and nothing is too spicy. Service was amazing as well, very polite and gave us tasty. But... too expensive ! 🤣🤣🤣
The service and ambiance are good I'll give them that. The Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Shrimp and Pork Shao Mai and Kurobuta Pork Xiao all tase bland to me. The Cucumber Salad taste good. I don't know it just me today but i don't really see what special about this place, on a personal ranking I don't
The food was excellent, I had the braised beef noodles, the xiaolongbao and the steamed pork Buns; all of them were fantastic. Service was alright as staff was friendly and offered to help make the dipping sauce, however they were extremely busy so its really hard getting their attention in the fir
Great place to have Sat/Sun Brunch, The food is excellent (my pictures were not since we are too hurry to eat and did not think of taking pictures half way finishing the food)
