The chilaquiles are WILDLY good - I don’t know what magic they do to keep the chips crispy but still saucy but it’s insane. I love that it comes with beans too. They’ve seriously ruined all other restaurants’ chilaquiles for me because they just don’t stack up to Eat Chow. My boyfriend always gets the spicy chorizo hash and loves it. The crispy cauliflower is bomb. Service is great, and the outdoor dining area is so nice. That being said, anytime we’ve deviated away from our usual favorite dishes, we’ve been disappointed. (The avo toast and arugula salad - ostensibly a really easy dish to not mess up - was one of the worst meals I’ve ever had in my life.) I would also advise against going towards the end of the brunch service when they’re about to switch over to dinner because the quality of the food is noticeably worse then. And the menu is constantly changing - I used to love the potato tacos on the dinner menu, but it looks like they took those away, so that sucks. The main downside of this place is that the drinks are hella expensive. I know it’s tough out there for restaurants, but $10 for a 12 oz can (not even draft) of basic lager feels outrageous. The cocktails are also expensive and made with those weird wine-based “liquors.” They’re tasty, but just not worth it the cost, so we only come here when we’re feeling a non-boozy brunch. TL/DR: get the chilaquiles or spicy chorizo hash - SO GOOD - the rest of the menu can be a bit of a wildcard. Drinks are pricey.

This is one of my favorite places to get a relaxing breakfast on the weekends that will fill you up. All of their items on offer are cooked well and taste great.

Came by for some lunch during the weekday and it wasn't so busy. Service was great, staff are very friendly. Ordered some burgers and fries and they were all very delicious.

7/28/2023 I had the Spanish style rotisserie chicken salad, it was delicious. My sangria was good too. Our server was nice. Very nice meal overall. Original Post The fillet is small but not too expensive, the small enchilada that comes with it was a great surprise. The server was great and fun to talk to. I would go back for sure.

It's been awhile since my last visit, was sad my favorite dish was dropped from the menu. Pulled pork eggs Benedict. The server suggested the Pesto Egg dish and it was delish!! Highly recommended it

The food is above average. The service and atmosphere are excellent. Highly recommend. The atmosphere gives modern California vibes. Simple colors and decorations are brightly lot by the bright sun streaming through the windows. Outdoor seating is along a quiet street for being so close to a main road. I would have liked more covered seating, but if you don't mind sun exposure, this is a great option. The menu reflects a culinary point or view that is distinctly southern Californian. The food is good in large part because the ingredients are good. The dishes are simple, but thoughtful and expertly prepared. I would eat here regularly if it were close by. The dishes are affordable and the menu has a diverse set of options. The service was truly outstanding. In addition to excellent table service, our server let me use the bathroom not associated with my gender presentation because of a significant wait. Then the server followed up with me, a non-binary person, to add that they are doing away with gendered bathrooms and that the bathrooms were functionally identical. Music to my ears.

I’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while! Cute little restaurant that serves up a variety of dishes. Smaller inside than I expected it would be but the dim lighting and colors of everything still made it feel spacious yet intimate. Unfortunately they didn’t have a wide variety of didn’t options. For an appetizer we got the cheesy tater tots and it was hot and so savory. I ordered the Tuscan salmon and it did not disappoint! It was delicious! With a creamy tomato base under and a yummy buttery risotto nests the salmon. My friend ordered the spicy sausage pasta and I tried a bite! It was equally sweet, spicy, and creamy!

Quality of food aside ( which was amazing ) the staff is next level. Adam and his team are SO accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure the orders are right and do so in a timely fashion. I would 10/10 recommend this spot for great food and amazing service!

My entire group loved the food we ordered! I got the Truffle Mac and Cheese with no bacon as a vegetarian option. They gave me no grief to remove the bacon from the order. Staff was friendly and attentive. The portions were huge except for the tacos, but I was happy to have left overs to take home! Price was a little higher than I would normally pay but it was well worth it!

Looking for a place that is still having dining service? This cute place EatChow in Costa Mesa hits the spot. Seating was closed inside but tables are set up outside with heat lamps as it can get a little chilly out. Service by Allison was perfect - she was always checking in and making sure we were taken care of. I recommend all items we ordered- it was too much food for one sitting. Ask about their specials. Four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because the tables are on the sidewalk were people can walk by and cars park right in front of you. Not much of a view but the food and service make up for any of that.

I just moved to Costa Mesa and have been exploring the multitude of restaurant options. I HIGHLY recommend Eat Chow! My server was very nice and the food was amazing! I started with a mimosa which was great, not too sweet. For dinner I ordered the cheesy tots and patty melt. The tots are basically a bowl of fondue with tots on top, how can that not be delicious. But the real highlight was the patty melt. I know that doesn't sound so exciting, but the flavor combo of the sauce and caramelized onions on this perfectly fried bread....this was the best patty melt I have EVER tasted. This is a "must go" if you havent already.

I really love this place. Feels like a small town restaurant with amazing food and excellent service. It's spendy, like everything else these days, but at least it's high quality with great service.

Loved the atmosphere. An amazing big store is attached. I had the chicken salad. #allergygirl had to sub out corn, avocado and peanuts for black beans and tomato. When the salad came it looked amazing and the first half was until I got to the beans. Ssoooo many beans the salad was a soggy mess. The salad was listed with almonds and when I asked why there were no almonds I was told it was a mix ... what? Peanuts and almond mix? Hmmm I never heard of that. Well he said would you like some sliced almonds.... yes, yes I would.

Went for brunch and had an absolutely incredible latte and a banging meal. They have both traditional as well as Mexican inspired brunch options. The house eggs Benedict were really tasty but someone at another table ordered the pulled pork eggs Benedict and I had order envy. No envy about getting the tostadas though, they were amazing! I think the Mexican inspired options can't miss, if you are wavering between traditional or Mexican, go on a limb and get what made this restaurant famous.
