Been here a couple of times and things have been great so far. Country fried steak and eggs, French toast, waffles etc....trust me, its all good. Place gets packed but we got super lucky...right place at the right time. Service was good....although my kids almost got hit with a cork from a bottle being opened...crazy brush crowd 😆

Next time I'm in Costa Mesa I'm definitely stopping by the Broken Yolk. From the coffee drinks to dessert everything was delicious.
They have lots of other locations.
The food is excellent! I ordered the strawberry crepes with chocolate sauce. Best crepes I ever had! The service was not to good for a party of twelve- I recommend insisting the service be coordinated if you are seated at separate tables. But our food was outstanding!
Love the flights so much that we got 4. Basically each of us got our own flight and we were feeling good by the end. The food took a little bit of time due to being busy but I was so busy with the drinks and talking that time flew. Highly recommend trying out the flights.

Had a fantastic time at The Broken Yolk. The Golden State Benedict was my go-to dish, with its crispy bacon, creamy avocado, poached eggs, and zesty sriracha sauce. It was a perfect combination of flavors and textures that left me craving more.
I also tried the Bloody Mary Flight, which included four different kinds. The Bloody Caesar was my favorite, with its balanced mix of savory and tangy flavors that gave it a unique twist.
The service was top-notch. The waiters were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They provided excellent recommendations and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my meal.

Serving potentially exceptional dishes, they're really good. Haven't yet found that one dish that makes me come back for it every time, but they've got such a wide selection of plates. Staff is kind of welcoming, and as freindly as they can be. Great location.
Great lattes! And the servers are fantastic and full of personality! I would opt out of the " additional" onions in the hasbrowns because basically, they just put a pile of chopped lightly grilled onions right on top of the delicious crispy hasbrowns ( OK, SO IM A BIT OF A FOODIE). It was a very fun vibe with a creative menu. We will return.
I love this place. I have eaten here many times and every menu item I’ve ordered has been delicious. The service is always exceptional and the crew is very friendly.
If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be to revisit the brand of coffee they serve. I don’t remember it being so bad, but it wasn’t really drinkable.
First time in Cali. This was a great choice for brunch on a Saturday morning. Had the tiki French toast. Very tasty. Didn't even need extra syrup. Was wonderful as it was served.

Our waiter, Robert, did a great job of keeping the drinks filled and even offered us to-go cups with a refill at the end of our visit. What a nice thoughtful gesture.
I mentioned that we were there celebrating a birthday and he brought her a birthday crepe at the end of our meal. When I shared that bit of info it was not with the intention of getting anything and I definitely did not ask for any special surprise. The fact that he was proactive in helping us celebrate, was definitely the icing on the cake.....or should I say "crepe"? Lol!
My favorite breakfast spot. Must try the chilaquiles with the green sauce, they always hit the spot.
Service is top notch here. The staff and waiters are super attentive but not overwhelming. Food was delicous and fresh. I would come back here in a heartbeat.
