Vegan review: Delicious! Had two tacos, one vegan chicken and one vegan carne asada. Amazingly good. Seriously. I want 10 more. The nachos, however, stole the show. I kept going until I hit the plate. Then I bit the plate just to make sure. My wife was so excited for vegan pozole that she ordered it in AUGUST, which is decidedly not soup weather. But she loved it. In August. Ugh. But it was great! The two guys in there were really friendly and nice. Patiently told us "yes, that's vegan too" while we pointed to things on our plates because we were nervous. Great guys, great place, this has utterly made my day.

Tacos Cancun is perfect if you're looking for Vegan Mexican food or are trying to find a place that's great for both meat or plant-based eaters, as they offer a variety of soy based meat alternatives for, virtually, their entire menu. Very reasonably priced as well. ----The Restaurant---- I was visiting from out of town and looking for some vegan mexican food. Really glad I came across Tacos Cancun. We came around 6:20pm or so. The restaurant is on the corner of a busy intersection, getting into the side parking was a tiny hurdle, we found a spot with no issue though. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The space was on the small side, but the cashier came around and put together some tables for my family. They have loteria cards under the glass on the tables on each side, which is a nice touch. ----The Food---- I ordered a a #3 pictured below, with red sauce and Vegan chicken, the taco was vegan steak. The plate was plentiful in toppings, plenty of the proteins, veggies and the sides. It took me a while to finish everything cause it was a lot of food with no complaints from me. the only thing that I will say, is that the flavor on the meat alternatives ought to be experimented on to give it more of a mexican flavor, just based on previous vegan proteins from tacos I've had in Las Vegas and Dallas. The red sauce on the enchilada was smokey with a bit of tang and flavorful. I was very happy they had vegan cheese to keep the flavor as close to enchiladas I knew growing up. Overall the food was incredible, not dry at all, and the beans were seasoned perfectly. Overall, I loved my visit here, both atmosphere and food. I'll be thinking a lot about Tacos Cancun while I'm back home in Dallas.

Looks and tastes like real Mexican food (which it is I guess), but it’s vegan!

Overall the experience was good, however they did get my order wrong. They were fast in fixing the issue. I had the intention of ordering more food for later, but after just about finishing my meal i felt the dreaded chewy part of the meat in my mouth. Food wasn't bad by any means. Just take a little extra time to cut the gunk out.

Food 8/10 Staff 6/10 - vibes were off, I understand overhead especially in that area is through the roof but If you don’t want to work, please let those who do come take your place. Vegan options are good/delicious but I didn’t feel too good after. Make sure they clean the grill before. ***UPDATE** got inflammation on neck, please bless your food before.

The vegan options are wonderful. Our family loves this place. Great place to go to or get takeout if you have a group of people with various diet preferences. The have regular meat dishes, vegetarian entrees, and vegan entrees. The vegan fake meats are very good. I don't recommend the fake vegan cheese, though. Pozole soup is delishous.

Yay for the vegan menu! So tasty can't wait to come back. The potato taquitos were to die for. Most importantly though my server Dulce was super patient, knowledgeable and kind with me going over ingredients for my allergies, so wonderful staff too. *****5/5 stars

AUTHENTIC CUISINE, SO MANY VEGAN OPTIONS. I got the vegan asada burrito with a wheat tortilla and it was delicious!! All their prices for the burritos, tacos, salads, etc are good (between $4-8) but the price for the guacamole and chips were very high for the amount you get. They have a salsa bar, clean bathroom, great service. You must try their vegan horchata drink!! THANK YOU!

Great food. The place was busy (Saturday night) but everything came out delicious and fast. The staff here is awesome. You can tell the chef/cook really takes pride in his food. Bravo!

Filling vegan options! They say the rice is vegan and I'm only skeptical because it tasted good! Mexican rice often includes broth. It wasn't the most amazing vegan enchilada but it was filling.

It's a really solid Mexican food place. Great location and gluten free friendly. Being GF myself, I love tacos and these are some of the best in town, especially for the price.

I love everything there. We have been trying many others Mexican restaurants since they close our favorite one. Carnitas Los Reyes. Now Cancun has become my family favorite Mexican restaurant. The only think I still missed is the pico de gallo, and other salsas they had.

First time trying this location out and very much enjoyed the service. The burrito was a good size for the price and tasted delicious. Might be my new location for lunch now!

Sooo good! My husband and I just left there. I ordered the adobado street taco and carnitas mulito, the meat is tender and delicious! My husband got carne asada burrito and he agreed, the meat is delicious! We'll be back!
