I came here as a delivery driver dropping off to Ding Tea. I was greeted warmly, not expected to hand delivery to the back, not told to exit the service door, and I was offered a cold drink. I've done nearly 2,000 deliveries and many to retail businesses/restaurants/drink shops and never have I been treated this way you guys are awesome!!
Love the quality of drinks at Ding Tea. I think the drinks are pretty consistent with other locations. I placed an order for a drink and popcorn chicken on the Clover app. The app said it would be ready in 20 minutes and when I got there, it was ready and exactly 20 minutes. I’ve never ordered popcorn chicken from other boba shops so I can’t compare. It was $6.79 and I thought it was pretty good. The staff is really nice and friendly. Parking is good and not a lot of traffic at 11:30am on a Wednesday.

Higher quality tea than most boba places in the area, if you're looking for some decent tea choices this might be the place. I got the cheese cream green tea and the taro milk tea with boba.
We ordered two drinks and I asked if I could change one of them from a regular size to large after they made the drink already and they were nice enough to make the change for me. I read some people had bad experiences here but the service wasn't so bad the time I visited.
I've heard good things about their Hokkaido milk tea, would be back to try that out some other time.

My favorite place to get boba. The golden boba in unlike anything else, and I really enjoy how you can customize your drink with sweetness level and amount of ice. I recommend the passion fruit milk tea, and lychee green tea.
As with most Ding Tea locations, this one is beautiful and serves consistently good drinks. I love how you can customize your sweetness and ice levels. The location of this store is in a crowded strip mall, but parking was pretty easy to find and once inside we ordered and had our drinks in about 5 minutes. Fast, friendly service, clean interior and also many spots to get the perfect Insta pic.

Consistent taste with all other Ding Tea stores. Plenty of parking. Some seatings inside. Drinks are usually on the sweet side for me so I usually order 75% sweet. Drinks have good balance between sweetness, tea, and whatever other flavor you choose.

Perfectly good boba. Standard menu with the usual suspects, along with a couple more unique options. Got a taro latte boba, which felt a bit watery, and the monster boba (their signature drink), which is a brown sugar drink sans tea and coffee. I got it with 50% sweetness and it was lovely. As a warning, their ice and sugar level terminology is different than other places I’ve gone (eg less ice meant 70% ice here, but at other places I’ve been it means the minimal ice amount).
I love boba and was in the area. I hadn’t heard anything about the place and just decided to give it a go. I tried a peach green tea with boba. I tried it as is and it was sweeter than I’d usually get, but that was expected. I wanted to try it that way as a baseline. At most shops I’ll order my drink 1/2 to 1/4 sweet. Here I’ll probably get it 1/2 sweet when I go again.
Not a huge fan of the butterfly teas, but this is quickly becoming my favorite Boba spot in Costa Mesa. The Cajun fries alone warrant visiting at least once. The boba is a great texture. The teas are flavorful and consistent. The popcorn chicken could be SLIGHTLY better, but is still in the top 3 places nearby to get it. Staff is nice and all wear masks. 100% coming back.
Great value, diverse menu, lightning fast service, clean shop. Toppings are delicious, unique, and just sweet enough that you can taste the flavor AND the tea. Ding Tea's special menu drinks are only available at this location! Can't find apple, guava, or blueberry milk teas anywhere else in the area. :)
I love going to boba spots I pretty much get a boba a day to keep the doctor away 😂 Out of the many places I love ding tea. By far one of my favorites. I frequent the one by my house in Tustin.
Stopped in for a tea for 3, carryout. We all enjoyed matcha latte, juice and black tea. Cute spot.
The staff are good hearted uplifting individuals that attend to your every needs. Whether it's advising what to try based on your tastes your or customizing your beverages they all genuinely are happy to be of service. I would recommend the Mango Green Iced Tea with Egg Pudding and Boba or if you feeling something a tad bit more light than add Egg Pudding with Grass Jelly.
