Best Italian food around and as good as you can get anywhere. Food stands toe to toe with the best Italian restaurants in New York and Boston. The owners work in the restaurant and are fantastically gracious. The interior is intimate, upscale, but not pretentious. There is limited table availab
Best place for miles around--small, intimate and genuinely Italian food. Decent wines at reasonable prices, a personable staff and a chef who knows the art of preparing dishes to please a variety of palates. We enjoy going there with small groups of up to six and have recently discovered that their
Cozy but wasn't very busy on a Tuesday. Birthday celebration. Upscale service and the best salad, stuffed mushrooms and lobster ravioli. Absolutely best meal that I can remember. Owners personable and enjoyed their conversation. ☆☆☆☆☆
Authentic, delicious, made with care. I’ve tried several dishes on the large menu, and all of them have exceeded expectations. Everything is fresh and tastes hand made, just like I’ve had in Italy. The bruschetta and limoncello gnocchi are my favorites. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming. We w
A nice cozy bistro with excellent, ample plates, good service and a decent, mostly Italian wine list. We went there at the strong recommendation of a co-worker (a local). I recommend reservations as it is a pretty small place.
This is the best italian restaurant I've ever been to. The food is amazing. It's small, and popular so you will need to make reservations in advance. The arancini, and the veal parm are very good. The alfredo is the best I've ever had. My Mom, and my girlfriend loved the stuffed mushrooms. It seems
Absolutely the best Italian restaurant in the area. 100% would recommend. The place has an amazing atmosphere with fantastic service. Gina truly cares about you and your experience.
Amazing! Perfect for a romantic date night. I recommend making reservations. It is very small, one chef making amazing food. Not recommended if you are in a hurry.
Great restaurant for a high quality relaxing meal. Casual approach to service with very knowledgeable staff. Feels more like you are visiting their home than going to a restaurant. Loved it.
If u like authentic Sicilian cuisine in a beautiful intimate setting...you must go to Francesca's. A real family restaurant. Sal in the kitchen his wife Gina on the floor and Francesca here and there. Go! go! go!
Really the best this side of the River, maybe even the best in Connecticut. Authentic Italian food with nice atmosphere and super friendly staff. I don't think I've ever had better.
Simply the best Itallian you'll find in CT. Eat like you're in the big city without even leaving eastern Connecticut. Lobster Ravioli was like heaven in my mouth.
Unique and modern atmosphere. The food is spectacular and is the closest to a home cooked Italian meal I've had in CT.
