Dimitri’s Pizza Restaurant is a really good restaurant. We have been here before but we didn’t write a review. This time the food was awesome. It took a while for our order, about 35 minutes but the food was great. We recommend this restaurant.
Great Food Delicious fresh fried mozzarella patties. The Marinara Sauce was fantastic great flavor. The pizza was the Dimitri Special, with plenty of toppings was asked if we wanted thick or thin crust we went with the thick. Ice-cold beer was great. My wife and I had a Gyro, Roast Beef Grinder, Chicken Orzo Soup, and Wings (5 count). My comment is, especially with food prices these days, orders have to be prepared correctly. First time visiting in a very long time. New owners, so we figured we would try lunch. Menu is the same. Service was excellent, Jen is a seasoned waiter & knows how to take care of her customers. Would have rated the food higher, but my wife’s clam strips were not up to par. Time to change that menu
This casual restaurant is amazing. There were 14 of us. We had made a reservation however, the servers hadn’t been aware. Upon my arrival they quickly put tables together in a somewhat private room they use for large parties. Before everyone arrived, tables were set with menus. A fabulous menu that
We typically order dinner items from Dimitri's and have eaten there just a few times. Usually, we order grinders for takeout.
The parking lot is pretty big, and it does get quite full, so that tells you how busy the restaurant gets when they're open. It isn't always easy to get a spot.

The food is excellent, the staff is sometimes friendly other times, is rude depending on who you got. The majority is not too bad. Waiting time is extremely slow 🐌 . I have been going there since 1990. You just have to be patient if you want to eat the best pizza in state if CT...I guess

I usually get the boneless chicken wings they are amazing. They are not heavily breaded but nicely crunchy. My husband usually gets either a chicken Cesar Salad or a small pizza either way the food are always really amazing!!!
