Oh. My. Gosh. So good! I got the burger & hash browns and it was fantastic! The beef was incredible, the homemade bun so delicious, and the hash browns’ seasoning was perfect! The croissants are the perfect combination of flaky and soft! And the Bruffin and Rum Baba were to die for! I will definitely HIGHLY recommend Autonomy to anyone and everyone!

The burger was an excellent combination of good quality beef, fresh condiments, and a homemade bun. The best part of the meal however was the hash brown side which comes "loaded" with caramelized onions, cheese, bacon, and mushrooms. The loaded hash brown was a surprising combination that I immediately loved. Also, the spicy pickle was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend.

Great looking place. Subdued but cool. Prime Brisket Reuben was great. Homemade bread was fantastic. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

It's awesome to have a French style bakery in downtown Covington! We tried three of their sandwiches, all on homemade bread, and they were all delicious. Went back this morning for coffee and a freshly baked croissant. I see a lot of my money going here........

Stopped by on this rainy Saturday morning. Parking lot was packed, but I was first in line. Got some croissants and sticky buns for my coworkers. Amazing! So delicious and just what we needed. Croissants were buttery and flaky. Sticky buns were fluffy and not overly sweet. Service was very friendly, helpful and had me out the door without a wait.

Not really my usual style, but our favorite trivia MC was hosting so we stopped in to try it. It's a little on the hipster side, but the food is really impressive. They obviously take great care that each dish is unique and flavorful. We had the brisket Reuben sandwich and the patty melt... both sided with hashbrowns loaded with the works. Since it's a bakery, all the bread goods are in house and just as unique as the dishes they are served with. Save room for the pastries for dessert... there's no shortage of cooking talent at Autonomy. While, I felt like we nailed our food orders to our personal tastes, I couldn't help but feel I would be trying something different next time... especially after scoping out what other guests were having. Great place for breakfast, brunch or dinner!

Finally a real coffee shop on the north shore! They have a great pour over selection. They have authentic baguettes and delectable pastries. We would have ordered food if we had not just eaten. We will definitely be back to order lunch it looked and smelled amazing.

Made the mistake of thinking this was a breakfast place. Very limited pastry selection early in the morning (8-9am) decent coffee program ran by the French truck group, but not really their focus. Seems more of a diner and lunch local. I will have to revisit to see if that is better. But if you want a good latte with an excellent croissant you could stop by and be out in about 5 minutes.

Very good coffee. Haven't eaten their lunch or dinner. The desserts and pastries were very good. The space is also interesting and inviting. I work in old Covington and it's so nice to have a quality coffee shop in the area. St. John's needs to up their game or give that beautiful space to someone else. Autonomy is the best around.

The first time I went, I knew I had to try a pastry, I couldn't decide since they had so many great looking choices. They recommended I get a morning bun which at first glance it seemed a bit boring or dry. But WOW! it was the most buttery flaky, caramelized, soft at the same time amazing- ness pastry I have ever had. I have been back a couple times now, and I want to try the other pastries but I can't stop getting it, it is so good! Oh did I also mention their coffee is amazing too? If you like coffee with any dairy products in it, they use local grass fed Mauthe's dairy.

Autonomy is doing it right. The best bakery and sandwich shop on the north shore - and among the best in the New Orleans area. Top notch quality and savoriness. Make sure you look for the daily specials. My only advice to the owners is to work with their ‘front house’ people, so that the experience is as wholly excellent as it should and can be.

Hard to find new concepts in dining. This is one. And it’s being done right. Building, morphing, not even close to potential, yet these guys have it together already. Taste is rich and full of flavor. Breads are light, meats are hot and tasty, condiments are full bodied yet don’t over power. Even the chips are good. Unique choices of coffees. I’ll have to make it to breakfast for their croissants, too.

Mandeville-Covington area was really missing a place like this. Delicious simple menu and excellent coffee! Bread, Croissants, other bakery items look delicious but did not try them. Had a Wagyu burger and a slow roasted pork sandwich both had phenomenal flavors. Do not expect a gigantic potion but expect a great flavor. I will be coming here many times alone, after a bike ride, and with the family. Thank you for your services!
