I ate here this evening with a group of friends - friendly staff, very accommodating and food was served quickly. A bit pricey for the portions, but otherwise, a good meal.
It really makes me mad when I see small minded people making comments like the ones in the prior reviews. I have eating there multiple times and to say there is not a varity tells me you should stay home and make your own food. And if you dont have something nice to say you should at least be honest. I work in customer service and I can tell the bull from the truth and you better be wearing boots when reading those bad comments. They were probably trying to get a free meal and got told no because they ate the whole meal and complained afterwards and as for the prices split a meal they are enough for two. The service I get is almost always great, as with any resturant nobody is perfect but how many add items to thier menu when you ask them.
The food here is pretty decent, and the coffee is actually quite good. If you go on a weekday morning they have some nice cheap specials. Service is friendly but can be slow, especially on weekends and holidays. If you are bothered by dining near groups of kids, don't come here! It's almost all families!
Great breakfast, have not been back for other meals yet. It is very pricey, but you get what you pay for...
Fairly typical diner fare but very nice setting. Service can be a bit slow on Sunday mornings. Breakfast is best. Lunch and dinner not good for vegetarians.
Cute little modern diner in Cranberry. The chocolate chip pancakes were the star of the show. So fluffy and full of chocolate. The steak Benedict was okay. The steak itself had zero flavor and was so over cooked it was crunchy. Everything else about it was good though, so I’d maybe just try something else. The prices were great for the portion sizes and general quality. Would definitely go back and try other things on the menu. Service was great and even if there looks like a ton of people in line, just good out. Turnover is quick.
First time dining at the Freedom Diner and it was very good. I had the Hungry Man Breakfast with home fries, turkey sausage eggs, and pancakes. Everything was good, pancakes were nice and fluffy. My wife had the Home Style which was also
very good (toast was too dark but okay). Service was good. Everything was really okay / good and my 4-Stars is meant to reflect that. Just not over the top exceptional.
Excellent service and food. Even when they are busy, which is usually always, the service and food is fantastic. Breakfast is my favorite! Very diner-like atmosphere.
Our “go to” breakfast spot when we’re in Cranberry!! Lots of options, nice kids menu, multiple variations of eggs Benedict, and the much needed tomato juice. It can get busy and there’s a wait, but it is worth the wait for us. Give ‘em a try!!
This is my absolute favorite place to stop in for breakfast while I'm in town. Although they get very busy at times, it's worth the wait. The food is always served fresh and hot off the grill. Their omelets are Amazing and they make really good home fries, an essential part of any Diner breakfast. The coffee is hot and fresh and the wait staff will never leave you with an empty cup. So if you're in the Cranberry area, do yourself a favor and go enjoy a great meal at Freedom Square Diner.......
This place is a little gold mine. Great food , great service! It's not big but that's what makes it nice. It's fantastic to find a place like this in the middle of all the big chain restaurants!

Went about 11:30 on a Tuesday. Not many people there. Got a booth right away, ordered my drink, then ordered my food. My food arrived in no time. Turkey club with chips. Food was great, server was great. Great place to eat.
Stopped in after an appt for brunch. Wonderful place! There is nothing bad about this diner. The atmosphere was very relaxed, quiet and beautiful. Not the regular hussle and bussle of a diner. The service and food were fantastic. Will definitely be back!
I had biscuits and sausage gravy along with 2 eggs over easy, cottage fries and 2 pcs of sausage. Gravy was tasty, biscuits were lite n fluffy.
I just moved here into cranberry township Pittsburgh Pennsylvania about a week ago. I just found this place. The food is really great. I came here for breakfast and I must say if you like home fries definitely get their home fries here. They are the best home fries I have ever had. As you see I got the breakfast gravy and biscuit. The eggs ham and coffee are amazing.. service was really awesome also. Finally atmosphere and wasn't too crowded on a Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m..
Restaurant was very clean. Portions are huge! Food was great. Never been here before. I would definitely come back. I had eggs benedict he had strawberry crunch French toast. Both were great. Only negative was watching an employee put her make up on and spray body spray on herself right outside the kitchen

About as good of a dinner that you’ll find this far out from the east coast. Food is solid and consistent. Friendly atmosphere and staff that helps make the dinner feel warm and welcoming.
