J.gumbo's - Cranberry Twp - Cranberry Township - Photo album

I’d been wanting to visit J. Gumbo’s for a while, but never got the chance because I live over an hour away. I recently went vegan and didn’t think this restaurant would be an option anymore, until I saw an advertisement on their Facebook page that they have vegan options! My family and I took a dri
Stopped in for a bite while traveling through and we were quite impressed. The Jambalaya and the Gumbo were on our list and they were delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. She even offered the punch card...can't beat free food! We will definitely return the next time we
Oh my goodness! If you love New Orleans jambalaya, gumbo, crawfish etc etc. You will absolutely love this place It's the closest thing that I have tasted to New Orleans since I've been there two years ago. It's kind of secluded because apparently cranberry Pennsylvania doesn't allow you put up big s
Friendly and patient as I, new to the place, tried to figure out what I wanted. They offer free tastes, important if you want to test levels of spiciness! I asked for something slightly off the menu of standard offerings, and they did it rather than say "no" like many places might have. All of that
Been here twice now this week and I am very pleased. It was very quiet both times I went, the food is great. I had the Jean Lafitte Bowl and the Crawfish Etoufee and my fiance had the Voodoo Chicken and Voodoo Chili both times with cornbread, all were good. I was very happy with the portions and the
Ok, I'm picky about my Louisiana food! It smelled good. The portion was huge, just like it should be. However I have never had a tomato baser jambalaya before. Now the sausage and chicken were really good. But the tomato base with the rice, kinda strange. The place was spotless, server was friendly
Food is delicious. Portion was a little small but, for the price ok. Second time I went I had the extra ladle and almost couldn't eat it all. I got a small bowl to go for lunch. Don't do that. It was a dollar less than a full bowl and the bag weighed more than the bowl. Half the size of the full bow
Delicious food, large servings, and the owners and staff are so friendly. Range from non-spicy Jambalaya and Gumbo to extra spicy Voodoo Chicken, with a great variety. I love that they let you taste test before chosing, and this time I ended up going off-menu, mixing the Drunken Chicken and Bumblebe
Huge portions, great flavor, and low prices! The staff/owners are so friendly and I LOVE LOVE LOVE their bumblebee soup🥰! Fresh beignets made to order (takes about 15 minutes) are divine. ❤️❤️❤️
We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant! The food is very good and quite reasonable too. Everything we had was spot-on, from the Voodoo Chicken and Bumblebee stew to the fresh, warm Beignets. We will definitely be back, hopefully when the jazz band is playing next time!
I am currently eating the Jean Lafitte Bowl and I just realized I found my new favorite place to order food from. The balance of spicy and sweet is perfect. Chicken is extremely tender and juicy. Amazing!
Very good, we saw it driving by and turned around to try something new and score! A good variety.
Great service, the girl behind the counter was very friendly and explained all of the different bowls. Food was very good especially if you like spicy stuff! The atmosphere wasn't bad but the place was empty and pretty dark. Overall a great place for a big meal.
Food was incredible. Very friendly staff. Would go again!!
Cajun "fast casual" with great folks There aren't that many cajun restaurants in the Pittsburgh area, and I doubt that there are any that has nicer people working there. The place appears (without prying) to be family owned and they work hard to make it a success. Offering free samples to let peop
Excellent "comfort" food, all sorts of variations but I always get the same thing! If you like spicy they have that, I am a mild food person and there are several very tasty items that fit my taste. They have several items for toppings, also bread and corn bread. I always enjoy the food!
Food was great! I was surprised to see any negative comments. My portion sizes were actually more than I expected for $7.50 and would glady return even if it was several dollars more. You could spend as much at your pick of fast food chains and certainly find yourself way less satisfied. If you want
