A cool little place. Lots of varieties of ice creams and cones. They also have cheese strips, chicken strips, corn dogs, among other stuff. We had the coconut, the salty dog and corn dog. Wish they had a restroom though.
Pretty good, food was solid, ice cream was very good and had a lot of options. People were also nice. Speedy service. Overall pretty good experience. Only reason I didn't give it a five was because the food didn't blow my mind, still good food though.
Very good local ice cream place. My personal favorites are Gone Fishing and Reese's Blitz. Almost everything you get there you can't go wrong with. Including this l their world famous cheese fries.

What can I say , soft serve ice cream. HELL YEAH . 🤣 there was a line , but how could there NOT be . Lol and the best diversity , chocolate and vanilla swirl. 😎👍

A Crystal Lake seasonal Icon. Open only in the summer months. That's been here forever. I'm A Born & Raised Veteran Resident of Crystal Lake that lived on Woodland Dr. I use to walk, from that dead end road to you... Suggestion to the owner, it's time for you to remodel, or seriously expand. One service window is not going to cut it, when your line wraps all the way around the building. This establishment deserves the same attention as Jameson Charhouse. Good food + great prices = A turn key of returning customers consistently. Open the counter up, to serve the masses. Don't worry about going fishing. Get the yacht first. Your retirement awaits you. Anyways, I'd love to see this historic place in C.L. - take on a face lift. It needs it. It's time. Don't miss out! It's a great place. Something for everyone that's surely to bring a smile. Glad to see this place, still alive and kickin. Double dip twist cone, or the famous black cow. Awesome 😎👍. Just can't beat the place, on a hot day. Get there early.
Waited all winter to return to this wonderful place,sat outside,red raspberry sundae,the best ever,this place is heaven on earth fantastic corn dogs too🙋takes ya back in time wonderful🐸
First time at The Freeze & absolutely had a great experience. The Guy that took our order (wish i could remember his name) was awesome,very personable. I think he was the owners nephew maybe...? But anyway he made our experience there that much better!! Absolutely will be back. Got the calico kit kat,cheese fries & birthday cake dipped swirl cone (asked for it in a bowl cause i knew it was gna be a messy one lol) overall great experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 stars!!
