I had little to go on before arriving, only a news article (announcement) and a little hearsay. The place is so nondescript I missed driving by TWICE. But the experience was worth the search and the parking challenges. certainly a foodie vibe. I felt like I was the prep cook the counter is so closed to the kitchen. We had the sweet potato, chicken confit, mushrooms and rice (risotto) porridge and it was all unique in presentation and delicious in healthy flavors. Culver City is lucky to have this spot for lunch.

Hello new world, don't give a shit about any "disappointed french gourmet" (that's what a pretended french gourmet is to be : disappointed). My wife and i ran so many great restaurant and food places around the world, from San Sebastian to Kyoto, Rio to Oslo, and let us tell you : you gave us so much pleasure and inspiration. Everything is consistent, wich is so unusual nowadays (a bowl is not a promess, slacky attitude is not a warranty). Keep on destroying !

different, great for Vegans, great for meat eaters who enjoy quality versus quantity...and if you enjoy light handed meals that pay attention to every detail to flavor, and texture...this is your place. When you leave you will have eaten the quantity you should eat every meal and will be full...I promise.

I have eaten there 2 in the last week and those are the best meals I have had all year. Without a doubt the most exiting food being made in the US right now.

Inovative, well created dishes that could easily underwhelm if the execution wasn't perfect. An exceptional place.

Really delicious food! Located in a bit of a remote area with surprisingly hard-to-find parking, you'll find this quaint restaurant with lots of (only) outdoor seating. It's a nice quiet street so you can enjoy a long peaceful meal here. It's also really fantastic dishes. I had the schnitzel, which was incredible for a non-German spot, and the Icelandic rye bread. Both were really good.

WOW…a flavor explosion! Modern, hipster hidden gem in Culver City! High quality, inventive dishes that will blow your mind! Highly recommend! On this visit we tried the French toast, which was epic and huge, the berry coconut yogurt and the smoked salmon with Icelandic bread. Everything was delicious, fresh and of exceptional quality!

If you could only get one item, the porridge is definitely the best choice by far! So delicious and the flavours in it was insane. Everything else was nice but nothing out of this world like the porridge was. Would drive back from norcal just for that porridge. The line moved pretty fast and there was available seating by the time you get your food. It’s all outdoor seating so you are welcome to bring you doggy friends along.

This place was a surprise. Packed during my visit as it should. Plates are surprisingly good and all combinations I've tried were tasty although on the heavy side. Portions are way too big and i recommend sharing. Ton of space to sit on the sidewalk.

Love this restaurant! Very chill place to have a brunch. The foods are delicious and novelty! You will explore a lot new flavors at here. The only thing is they have outside table only. The leaves on curbside trees could fall down to your dished when its windy.

Brunch was excellent. Presentation of the food looks great and taste delicious. Ate my first beef tartare here. Every order we had was just delicious. Can’t wait for my next meal here.

This is one of my favorite brunch/ lunch spots in LA. Everything is great but the porridge and the forbidden blueberries are my favorites. The porridge is so rich in texture and flavor. The blueberries are so fresh and is an amazing dish for those who are looking for something sweet but not too overly sweet! Sometimes they make their chicken schnitzel with this pink lettuce. I hope they bring it back soon!

Total hipster food outlet serving the freshest ingredients in an open kitchen environment prepared with meticulous detail to boot! I love the food presentations, which are typically filled with vibrant colors, making all their dishes extremely appetizing. YUM. I also appreciate that the chefs are able to adjust their creations with plant-based alternatives (on the fly). I guess they don’t currently have a lot of vegan patrons so not many of their dishes are vegan-friendly. However, they have this delectable vegan chocolate chip cookie that’s not to be missed! Even my non-vegan friend ordered one to go after enjoying one whilst we dined there. 😋 They have outdoor sidewalk seating for dine-in patrons. The place is setup like a coffee shop (no seating inside, only a small space for ordering your food/drinks and another tiny section for displaying higher end dish ware for sale).
