Ordered roll with avocado and tempura with eel sauce. It tasted fine, but it was just like a regular California roll. I could barely taste the tempura. The owner was nice. Not sure if I would pay $11.58 again for 8 pc California roll though.
Wish I could give 3.5 stars,3 was too harsh. The patio is lovely. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is okay. I ordered the tempura / California roll bento box. The roll was fishy tasting and only half of the tempura was successful (the zucchini was so soggy and greasy I had to throw away)
You defiantly need to know where this one is as its well hidden but a very good selection of food and they offer beer!!! Lots of parking and they have a very nice outdoor eating area.
Very fair prices for the portion. Really liked the baked white fish roll. Variety of kind of rolls (fresh, tempura, baked).
I enjoy the food here. The tempura is light and the sushi is made fresh. It's my go to place for Japanese food close to home.
I absolutely love this place, let me tell you Inbetween the bake salmon rolls and the scallop volcano rolls.... i always end up getting both... the scallop and the mushrooms is yummy yummy, you can always request less sauce because it is quite saucy... oh yeah and the baked fish is lovely lol when i say its perfect, its perfect 🥰 well seasoned, the meat is tender and in-between soft and hard lol so its firm lol only time it falls apart is when a piece is breaking off into your mouth... the california rolls are well put together
Love, love California Roll & Sushi. I've been patronizing this eatery for well over 10 years and I have never been disappointed. They have a wide variety of options that would satisfy any Sushi aficionado down to the folks who are not quite ready for the raw experience and just want to stick with shrimp tempura. Their food is made to order and always tasty. I look forward to eating here at least once a month. I do plan to try something new each visit but it's hard not to have my fav--#20 x 2 with extra eel sauce, lol. Don't sleep on this place!
