Stumbled into a piece of LA history and culture in Culver City at a place called The Cinema. The live band was amazing. There is No Cover. The place has a nice patio out back. Lots of friendly beautiful people.

We came into the The Cinema Bar for drinks after a movie and it was a great way to end the night. We sat down immediately with no line up,which we were glad about. Our waiter was attentive bringing water and menus. There's is a decent size wine and beer selection to choose from with delicious bites that you crave. The ambiance was great, the music providing a nice groove but not too loud & the lights not to darkwith plenty of assessing areas.

The Cinema Bar is billed as an "urban wine bar" and definitely fits that description. They offer wine tasting but also have a retail store. I hope in the future they rotate in more wineries. The small plates were excellent and really complimented the wine. Currently, they partner exclusively with only 6 Northern California wineries:

My favorite West side dive bar. Friendly owner. Delightful fish tank in the back. Love coming here for a quick beer and a shot. I could look at the fish tank all night. Fun bands too!

This is such a nice place. The bands are always play good music. The bartenders are always friendly. The male bartender with the beard was schooling everyone on how to drink bourbon and other liquors; he was quite a character. very friendly and east going type of guy. It's my go to for a nice quick drink and chat with locals. This bar isn't for the quiet ones that like to sit and have a nice chat. There is a back portion of the bar which I never been to. It didn't quite catch my interest because the music is inside not outside. So my opinion on the back isn't as good as the front. The restroom is quite small for the men. The toilet is literally a foot away from the urinal. But only one dude can fit inside at a time. So privacy isn't an issue. Soap smells nice.

The dive-iest of dive bars in LA. Came here around 7:30pm on a Wednesday and there were a few folks who appeared to be regulars at the bar. There’s an outdoor patio as well, where smoking was allowed. Parking is available in the back or you can park at metered street parking along Sepulveda. Credit cards accepted. There’s live music at 9, and when we went, it was gypsy jazz for that particular night. There’s no menu, you can just order a drink. The gin and tonic was pretty tasty and the bartender was really nice. No food is served there, but there’s Tito’s Tacos and Cinco de Mayo down the street where you can buy some Mexican food and take it back to the bar to eat. The crowd is on the eclectic side, but overall, it’s a fun spot to hang.
