Friendly service. Food is very simple but it was good and filled me up. Prices are amazing for the quantity of food you get. I got the Italian omelette. It came with home fries and toast. Tasted like something my grandmother would make - super comforting. It was strange to see a big bar without alcohol behind it but the bar itself was beautiful! The wood looked brand new and it had railroad pieces at the bottom for your feet. The restaurant was very clean and smelled good. I stopped in for a quick bite on my way to the ski slopes and the food came out fast. I had one waitress but the other waitress also asked if I needed anything so they get an A+ in the service department. I will be back on my next snowboard trip...
Don't let the name fool you - This building used to be a bar --- long time ago. The exterior still may resemble a bar, but once inside you will see that it's been converted to a relaxing, friendly, Christian based restaurant. No nasty posters or vulgar writings anywhere. NOW it is a really nice place to have breakfast or lunch. Hours are 9-2. The food is mostly home made and ingredients locally sourced when possible. The owners and staff make you feel like friends you've known for a long time. Just a short distance off Canal Parkway on Virginia Avenue, before the Railroad underpass.
Longing For Eden recorded a music video here last Saturday for their upcoming YouTube channel! Some of us ordered breakfast, which was fantastic, and others in the group arrived in time for the lunch menu, which they loved as well! We found a new fave place to eat!!
The hours are 7-2...................................................................................................................................................................................
I encourage all to visit this restaurant. It's Big enough to have church luncheons, Board meetings or youth group dinners. Great food!! Wonderful atmosphere!!
I love this place and you can get carryout!!!! I can't wait to go again.
Your restaurant is the best in Cumberland. I'm sometimes hesitant to tell people about it because I don't like crowds. But considering cleanliness, food, service and price; It is only a matter of time before I will have to make a reservation. ;)
The best of the best!! Great food--large portions--great variety of foods--including the famous "wedgie" sandwich!!
Such a nice place. Food was amazing. So good. Will definitely be returning
I had breakfast there today....it was very good...I like the homemade bread....I'll be back..

Best breakfast in town!! The staff are always so nice too. Definitely check it out if you haven't.
Always great service. Big helpings! Love their breakfast!
I eat breakfast wi/h my husband and his brother on occasion. They eat there 4 to 6 times a week. I never had a bad meal from them. They have also brought breakfast home to me. Good ☕ coffee.
My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town and met some family here for breakfast. Oh my goodness. Huge delicious portions, super friendly service and more than accommodating as the word spread we were in town and the number of people at our table grew.
What a great find this was for us! Great food, expansive menu, spacious dining area, and wonderful service. Reasonably priced. Very positive atmosphere. It has a true local hometown feeling, unlike the chain restaurants. I had an egg, link sausage, one HUGE pancake, and coffee. Try the Mennonite-made apple butter.
Excellent food and big portions. Breakfast is served until 2pm. Pancakes are HUGE! Good assortment of dishes to choose from fir any appetite.
Food was good and it had a pleasant atmosphere.
