Great menu! Lots of options. I really enjoyed the Shepards pie. We also had the malva pudding, which is amazing! The staff are wonderful and so friendly. I will definitely be back.
If I’m being honest, we’ve been slow to visit this Cafe. Now that we have, we will be back regularly!
My wife and I each had a different meat pie. Hers was beef and mushroom, mine was cubed steak that had been marinated in Guinness Beer! They were both delicious! The fries are hand cut, and very well seasoned.
Then for dessert I had Mulva (South African Dessert), and my wife had a hedgehog (like fudge with coconut). They were both amazing!
Megan and Debbie were both very hospitable and fun to talk to. We will be returning for sure!!!
Excellent meat pies and friendly service. It's crazy to have a place to get pasties so far south! They're as good as the ones you can get in the U.P.! They also carry a small selection of English/Australian groceries and candies.
Breakfast lunch this is a hidden gem! The French toast is delicious berries are fresh ! The whip cream is the REAL deal! Loved the hash browns! Meat pies look and smell amazing! Quiche meat pies also breakfast sandwiches Must try this place ! Modest inside it’s a little hard to find but worth it !!! They also carry some Australian food items . Must try! The Queen’s Colony Cafe ... What can I say other than AMAZING. I'm so glad you guys reopened!!!! My husband and I had breakfast here this morning, everything was delicious.

Finally tried The Australian Bakery Cafe today for lunch. First impression- so lovely inside! I loved the Australian market.
The staff was wonderful! Answered all my questions with great suggestions.
The food was excellent! Ordered a steak, onion, cheese meat pie for myself, and a chicken mushroom meat pie for my boyfriend. Also ordered two bowls of French onion soup. Everything was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try more!! Prices were low especially considering the amazing quality of the food!!

I'll be returning here often. The Original Pie is so savory, the crust so flaky, the chips so surprisingly delicious. The owner was wonderful, offering many great suggestions. It's also fun to shop the sauces and candy bars from overseas. We are fortunate to have a place like this in our community.
