Great food, reasonable prices and a fun environment. I highly recommend Castleberry Ale House to anyone looking for a great restaurant and bar. Great burgers too!!!
Great bar food. The best bartenders! Just an overall great place for a brew, watch sports and hang out with your friends. If your a football, baseball, soccer or baseball fan they have a TV for you.
Come here at least once a week for lunch. Wish it had a lunch menu but the buffalo chicken sandwich is good. And also the hickory chicken sandwich. Great tvs to watch sports center.
I went for my anniversary had a great time with my better half. Had a great dinner and wine. Then listened to the band and had fun with the locals. It's like a family there. We enjoyed it immensely!
I've been here quite a few times and have had nothing but pleasant experiences. The food has always been great each time (especially the Sweet Chili wings and Jerk wings), and the staff and owner have been nothing but nice. I'm pretty sure I'll keep Castleberry in my regular rotation.
Esthetician. Loved this place!!!! Food is delicious, great service, very friendly owners as well as staff. And the band was awesome too. Highly recommend!!!

Still Undecided. This was my first experience at the restaurant and I have alot to say about how things went. The first thing I noticed was the decor. Shabby, at best. Beer and Sports teams. You would think that someone in charge had some kind of creativity but I guess not . The floors looked like poured cement and thats it.(which made it look dirty with lots of stains even though the staff was sweeping and cleaning the whole time we were there). We were then greeted by our server, Ellen, who was very friendly and attentive. She gave us many suggestions on the menu and seemed knowlegable. We appreciated her honesty when ordering our son's mac n cheese when she said she wouldnt recommend it. She however did recommend the ale house chicken which my wife ordered and loved, and the award winning ribs which i had and were melt in your mouth. Many places seem annoyed with small children who make messes but our server was great about it. The food also took longer than normal to come out. So, service was excellent and food good as well. As we paid and my family left, I stayed and moved to the bar to have a drink. I was very disappointed with the bartender who I believe said her name was Brittany. She had a fixed smile on but seemed annoyed to serve me. I was excited by the list of specialty drinks but noticed there were no prices anywhere to be found and the drinks didnt list was in them. I asked the bartender a few questions about what liquors were in a couple of the drinks and she rudely told me that they were Castleberry creations and she couldnt tell what was in them. I found that outrageous! There could be toilet water and food coloring in them and I wasn't allowed to know! Pretty pissed, I got a beer, paid, and left. Overall, strange experience. Our server and the food was great. The bartender and decor was very lacking. ??? Come on guys, I want to come back but just am not sure if I will.
Great place. Management seems to really care about its staff and its customers. Bartenders are awesome, great beer specials, and great food. My new Thursday night spot!
Under Age Drinking?. In reference to Ms Woods comments, I believe I am the "17" year old that came in Saturday while you all were waiting for a table and talked with the hostesses both of whom I know from prior visits to the restaurant. I actually just turned 21 years old 2 weeks ago and have been in the USMC for almost 2 years. In my experience, unless you know for a fact that something such as under age drinking is going on, especially at a restaurant where beer and liquor are served, is a pretty low thing to do. That bar does a great job asking for IDS than most other local restaurants do. if they lose their alcohol license the restaurant goes under. If the restaurant didnt suit you thats fine, leave a review and move on, but seriously?
Great food. Love this place. My fiance and I have eaten here several times. The waiters/waitress are always friendly and knowledgeable of the food.
The Cajun Shrimp Pasta is fabulous! The Chicken Fingers are great too. Good breading and not too heavy.
The owners are very friendly and always stop by to make sure the food is good.
I ate here for the first time the other night with my family. We were greeted by beautiful hostess with with a big smile. Got sat nd then instantly greeted by our server. They got burgers nd salad which were phenominal, I got the cajn shrimp pasta which was the best pasta that I have had and better yet the price was very good price for the quality of the food. The server was extremely nice nd made us feel very welcome. I will definently be coming back to this restaurant alot more often
Loved the Place. I really enjoied my experience at the Castleberry Ale House. My server was great and the food was excelent. I really like the fact that they served food until 1 am. It is nice to see a new late night bar and restruant.

Castleberry Aie House. We are certainly in need of good, reasonably priced restaurants here in the south end of Forsyth County, and so we welcome the Castleberry Ale house ... a nice alternative to what our choices have been in our community for the last few years. We are a very family oriented community and need family friendly and 'easy' places to frequent for dinner. HOWEVER, I really think the proprietors need to continue to work on the interior decor. On our visit to the Ale House, one of the people in our party compared the look and feel of the restaurant to that typical of something you find in a strip mall. I really don't think that this is the look and atmosphere that they are trying to achieve at the Castleberry Ale House. I think it is much too bright in there, as well as being very sterile and bare. Not a big beer drinker, so I can't comment on the selection, and I thought the food, being pretty standard fare for this type of place, was indeed VERY good, I was disappointed in the atmosphere and hope that as the owners get more settled in to their new establishment, they are able to enhance it with a more inviting and interesting design.
Great food at GREAT prices!. The food and pricing is fabulous! This is a great neighborhood meeting place...seen many friends and neighbors with each of our 6 visits so far. ALL of the food has been great and the prices are affordable...you are ALWAYS visited by one of the brothers, who are the owners. The each have many years of restuarant experience with national chains and bring their experience here...all of the employees are friendly. The menu selection is great with a wide variety of beer to choose from...
Give them a break!! They are not a national chain with corporate training...they are 2 brothers who are living their dream...we need this type of establishment in our neighborhood...AND the prices are right...check how much do you pay for that same beer across the street at Chepes??!! (You are funding their new locations with those prices!) We need LOCAL businesses to succeed, run by LOCAL families like theirs!
Pleasant. Went for the first time today and I thought it was good. I agree that the decor lacks but that is fine. I like that better than places that have to much going on inside. I thought the menu to be very diverse, something for everyone. I will definitely be going back often, I hope they last.

Give them a break.... They just opened! I had a great meal there on their 4th day being open. They were slammed, we had great service and the food was really. I understand that they ran out of a couple different types of beer, but they could know what the taste of their customers would be in the first week. Most restaurant go out of business because of poor management not bad food. I think they were playing it safe, which in the current recession makes 100% sense. I think and hope that they will be around for a long time. The only thing a wish they had is tables, not 100% booths. Having a toddler in a high chair at a booth isn't always the. easiest or the safest.
They have great food great atmosphere great people in there lots of regulars and the bartenders are great the servers are great bartenders as well! Their portions are great all their food I would say is very good for a sports bar type atmosphere but nicer. It's a great place to go just have a drink or something to eat or go watch the game. You can't go wrong!
Randy did a great job serving us! He adjusted to us well and had great communication. I ordered a bourbon burger, and the burger, sauce, and toppings were amazing! Their sweet tea was great too. Not to much sugar like some places. Great place to go!

My husband and I went here lastnight with our kids and the service was great and everyone was very friendly. Great beer choices! We started with nachos, the chips were very thin and broke easily, a thicker chip would of been nice. My husband got the Cajun chicken sandwich and it had no flavor, the chicken was juicy but it was definitely not Cajun. My chicken sandwich also had no flavor and the chibatta bread was not toasted and was cold. We will definitely try it again and try something else.
Castleberry is in my top three places to get wings. They have a good sports bar atmosphere with plenty of Tvs to watch your favorite team play. Also the owner is a huge Cowboys fan which is a huge plus in my book. Also shout out to Pickle one of the best bartenders on staff
Our dinner was really good. Had the spicy BBQ wings and really enjoyed it. Our server was great. Will definitely return
The perfect local bar with a comfortable atmosphere and a huge beer menu. Large outdoor patio where I enjoyed my cigar and British pub ale.
Castleberry Ale House is absolutely amazing. It's on the corner of Castleberry and Bethelview. We sat at the bar and were taken care of by Patrick. The spot is a legit watering hole with good food and great service. Patrick hooked us up with some great beer recommendations. My wife prefers sweet drinks so Patrick suggested a drink called a Nerd Bomb. Absolutely delicious and she loved it. If you're looking for great drinks and great food, give this place a visit and add it to your regular pit stop rotation.
