When I pulled, I wasn't so sure, playground with faded paint, classic cars in the front lookin like they were getting worked on, but let me tell you people, The service here was outstanding, freindly and welcoming. Our glasses never got past half way on our drinks. And the food here was amazing. I had Caldo de Pollo, and it tasted just like home, the tortillas were made fresh, for those of you who can tell the difference between store bought and what Abuela makes, the single burrito was no enchilada look a like size, it was bout double that. All around had a great experience here, very nice on the inside, bathrooms were clean, and to think I almost didnt go in, but it goes to show, do not judge a book by its cover, this place is a GEM!
This is one of my very favorite Mexican restaurants. It is great for many things including food. Their indoor decor is so colorful and fun! It reminds me of the Encanto House. They have a large open well shaded palapa style patio with a McDonald’s playground for the kids. The food and service also never disappoints.
By far one of my favorite things about this place is a complaint I saw posted to next door. The complainer got food poisoning and call the health inspector on the facility after not receiving the expected refund. La Hacienda got a surprise visit and passed with flying colors. They got an A rating. Their Ingredients are fresh, locally sourced and kitchens are clean.
So yes, I highly recommend this place for a great family friendly atmosphere with awesome Mexican food!
First time here as we were visiting from out of town. Had the beef fajitas plate. The meat was cooked just right, and was tender. Would go back when visiting again.
A group of coworkers and I went there for lunch. I got the taco salad with fajita beef. It was great along with the fresh fried tortilla shell. Overall the lunch menu had a good variety. Everyone at the table had good things to say. Service was good. Atmosphere was good.
I'd sum this place up as follow - decent, fair priced food with a fun atmosphere. It reminds me of a scaled down version of Casa Bonita for Mexican food. Here's why you ultimately need to go though; Fried Ice Cream! It's one of the few place around that I've found that has fried ice cream and I was pleasantly surprised with how good it was. They also have great happy hours. Enjoy!
