This is by far the best place to eat in Downtown Dallas. Fantastic service, beautiful setting, either inside or on the closed balcony , it has a nice view. It is great for couples , or to go with friends. The food is fantastic, a little of the classic with a new twist. It is reasonably price and the dessert they recommended was to die for!! If I ever go back to Dallas this is the one place I would love to go back to!!
The Woolworth in Dallas has been at the top of my list of new places to try, and it did not disappoint!. We tried out The Woolworth on a Saturday night, before heading to the Dallas City Performance Hall. Luckily, we were there early in the night, and there was seating for two available on the patio. We were smarter the second time we went with friends .... and made reservations. I can't say a single negative thing about this place. My only suggestion is to add bread to the grouper special we had (the sauce was so good that I was tempted to pick up my bowl and slurp up every last bit) ...
Had spent the day in Dallas going f or meeting to meeting and was invited to The Woolworth for drinks and dinner. What a great surprise it was. Itās a hidden gem with an outdoor terrace and great food. The starters were all excellent and enough to share. The main courses were all well prepared and good quality and again made to share easily. The best part of The Woolworth for me was the location. Itās a rare privilege in a city center to have a private space above street level where you can relax and enjoy the company of friends or business associates. No one walking by or cars to disturb you so if your looking for a great place to unwind in Dallas with great food this is a great place to do it.
Quick in and out.Ā Ordered the black and blue salad, which was well composed and with lots of flavor.Ā The rub on my steak was very delicious but I wonder if the grill was hot enough as my rub was a bit "moist", providing an off texture to the steak.Ā If the grill wasn't hot enough then it may have "steamed", so to speak.Ā Tom Cat cocktail was good, I love seeing fernet branca on cocktail menus.
I'll be back for sure!
I stopped in here on a whim deciding to just walk around in the evening and look for something good to eat. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at this restaurant, complete with a balcony with urban views.
My server was fun and engaging. She certainly made the dining experience enjoyable, though in another mood I might have found her a bit too intrusive.
I liked the modern, somewhat eclectic menu. The black and bleu salad was tasty with unique ingredients, but a bit over seasoned. I wish the chef would let more of the natural, subtle flavors shine.
This is a neat urban restaurant I'd enjoy visiting again.
I was staying locally and craving fried calamari, and this was the only menu I could find close enough that had it so I gave it a shot. So glad I did, got the crab cake sandwich and calamari fries and they were both amazing! I only got take out but would have loved to have dined in and definitely plan to the next time I'm around. It looked pretty busy and the staff was super friendly even though I was just there for takeout. Can't wait to go back!
Atmosphere is awesome, staff is friendly, drinks are great and service is top notch. Also, the new patio is awesome! One of my favorite spots to grab a drink and appetizers.
Great place to come in terms of ambiance. Lunch is quick service for all you business professionals in the downtown area. The views of downtown Dallas as well as their brand new large balcony overlooking the "eye" sculpture, makes this place unique by comparison to adjacent or nearby bars/restaurants! The menu has something for everyone, and although it has changed a bit, it's changed for the better in my opinion. I love the crab nachos and sliders!! This place is a favorite of mine because while busy at night, you can still hear a conversation! As someone who doesn't frequent the clubs, it's fun to come to a place that you feel like has all of the nightlife without the ratchet music. There is also a library section that can be reserved for special events. We had my husband's birthday there last year, and they really went all out in accommodating us :) I recommend!
This is my favorite restaurant in Dallas! I come out here for work periodically in downtown and I've been here several times since 2017 and they just keep getting better. From the craft cocktails to the top notch menu items, you will not be disappointed. Everything I have tried is excellent. I Recommend: Nana's Toast. Red chowder, and the smoke & spice cocktail šø
First time visiting since the remodel, the ambiance is great and the updated menu wowed us! Our server was knowledgeable of the new fare and was great with his recommendations! Can't wait to visit again!

Treated myself to dinner. I love seafood. I had the halibut or the Seabass. I can't remember but it was absolutely wonderful. Definitely wish I would've gotten it again. Great service drink was awesome. I didn't know what I wanted. The guys help me out.
Came for brunch with my daughter (she's 4). Our waiter, Colin, was amazing. Engaged and attentive. Suggested items, brought my daughter juice, and was all around an amazing host. We had the crab sandwich entree and chicken and waffles. My daughter loved the waffles and gravy (comes on the chicken). Wonderful experience. Colin is exceptional and set it over the top.
Sara was such a great server! She was so friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and the best drinks. This cocktail bar is a great place to stop by for amazing drinks and great food.
Caroline was an excellent server, and her recommendations of the menu were spot on. The interior was clean and pleasant with a chill vibe. Highly recommend people check this place out.
I made reservations here for Motherās Day and couldnāt be happier. They have excellent customer service and an overall amazing vibe. We tried their brunch menu and service was pretty fast and the food was so good. They have outdoor patio, both downstairs & upstairs with great views of Downtown Dallas, Giant Eyeball, and The Joule Hotel. They also have a little area in the back of the restaurant which is a sort of mini bookstore/lounge area and it was just so cute. Overall, a great experience, definitely recommend!
Very nice upscale restaurant. Itās upstairs where views of the city can be seen. Views are becoming more popular with diners. Food is top rated and the service was other worldly. The server was extremely attentive. My group is definitely demanding regardless. She rose to the challenge.
I have been here for brunch, lunch, and dinner, and all of the food has been amazing! Itās a great place for a date or for cocktails and small bites! I highly recommend the fried chicken, philly cheesesteak eggrolls, truffle fries, grilled cheese + tomato soup, chicken quesadillas, and specialty cocktails! Iāve also had many of the other starters but canāt remember because itās been a while. They have a classy atmosphere and a nice balcony/patio right next to the eyeball for when the weather isnāt too hot! Itās definitely a place you can get dressed up to go to OR come in causally dressed and not feel out of place. Definitely a great place to stop by, even if just for a drink and finger foods, while youāre in the heart of downtown!!!

This is a beautiful restaurant with a delightful atmosphere. My coworker and I came for lunch. We were greeted with a very cheerful, nice staff. Our waiter Colin seated us and took such great care of us.
You are allowed to order off the lunch and dinner menus. I'm not sure you are allowed to order lunch during dinner hours.
Be prepared to pay a higher price than you might at somewhere else for lunch. But, it is a more upscaled restaurant.
I mean, they have Lobster Brie Grilled Cheese sandwich. And they aren't skimpy with the lobster. So it's definitely worth what I paid. But, I was a little disappointed because, for the amount of fries I got at the price, I paid for the fries. My fries should have been included in my meals. If you get a side, you have to pay extrait, like fries. The sandwich was $20 by it's self, no sides. Besides that, the sandwich was fresh and hot. I'm not gonna lie absolutely delicious!
I just think they could have included the fries and upcharged for changes like a different side they had other side options available. This is just a suggestion to the GM Matt Stevens.

Did you know the Woolworths building is 140 years old and not only that by one of the oldest buildings downtown Dallas. š¤ I know my thoughts exactly WOW!.
Well, he told me that on July 1st, 2023, they will be shutting down the restaurant. Oh, no, not for good. They are putting 1.5 Million Dollars in remodeling the entire restaurant. Examples: new back bar, menu, new cocktail list and etc. The menu will include items like Steaks and Lobster elevated menu compared to the one they currently have.
But don't get too worried they will be back up and running in 6 to 8 weeks.
They are planning a Grand Re-Opening. I'm excited, I hope I get invited to it.
GM Matt Stevens told me to give him a call, and he would me know when the Grand Re-Opening is. And I'll let yall know, too.

We came in to town for a visit and decided to treat ourselves to a steak. We reserve dinner here and it was excellent!! I had an amazing steak! The drinks are cold and well-made. I speak for our whole party when I say the real treat was actually the service. Our waitress Teresa made the experience an incredible one for us. She was funny, attentive, and definitely made the dining experience much more pleasurable. We all loved her! Iām sure your dinner experience will be excellent as well! Weāre coming back for sure
The food was fantastic! The cocktails were beautifully crafted, with complex flavors but slightly weak liquor pours. The food service was excellent, the bartender was courteous, but seemed slightly distracted and disengaged (we visited at a very slow dining time).
We had drinks at the bar. Noel was great! Drinks were delish, vibe was pretty cool. It was a good time
Revisited this spot after a couple years and it keeps getting better, we had nanas toast, lobster Rangoon egg roll & lobster grilled cheese

I have always loved this spot. Great location, on the center of downtown. Perfect atmosphere, itās like it has a spot for any occasion within the grounds. My fave the bar! Christian serves the best martinis in town, makes you feel like you are on vacation and unwind. Nothing like a good drink and excellent service to feel good š
Our server Sara was wonderful. The menu can be modified to have gluten free options which is extremely important for my fiancƩ. The drinks were tasty and we will definitely be coming back!
Loved this place. The food was awesome. I had a salad and margarita and my son had fried chicken . The place is close to the Eye and the service was impeccable . I would come back.
