This is a hole in the wall but absolutely worth checking out!! Our server was running the show and despite doing it all, we had excellent service and the food was fantastic!! Enormous hamburgers, delicious fries, and definitely don’t overlook the sandwich menu! Philly cheesesteak was amazing. I’m looking forward to coming back!
I love a good sandwich 🥪! Fresh roasted bread, thinly sliced meat, perfectly sliced avocado 🥑! Uncle Uber's is a great spot for a quick bite or to relax for a long lunch. Can't wait to go back!
Unique sandwich shop! We enjoyed the sliced ribeye and a dinner salad, both were served quickly and fresh. Great Margarita with Josue Cuervo gold!
I had lunch here, it was delicious. I got the chicken salad with alvacado and bacon and habanaro ranch. It was all fresh and juicy, very good romaine. I loved it. Also, I tried 3 different mixed drinks, amaretto, red headed Irish, and Washington and they were all made perfectly. Lauren was our tender/waitress, she was so kind and fast. Absolutely loved it. Also, the parking can be difficult, and it is on a one way street, bit you can pay to park in a lit two doors
Down and it's only 4-6$ so not too bad. Tons of other restaurants and stuff around them also. Out of 5 I would give them a 4.7, definitely great for socializing and a quick bite.
Awesome burger, ton of fries, cool spot, good music. Definitely going back.

First thing first! The barkeep was the coolest guy I’ve met in a longtime! He was entertaining and happened to know some of the lyrics to Hanson “MMMBOP” *also there was a patron that sing the entire song*
The lemonade here is also amazing & if you’ve read my other reviews you know I love lemonade!
The chicken sandwich was much better than the steak sandwich! This is the reason I typically get two meals!
I have nothing bad to say about Uncle Uber’s! The place is super lax! And the food is typical bar food! I would definitely say give this place a try!
1st time here for my family today. The food was absolutely delicious. Our waitress, sorry didn't catch her name) was wonderful. Super sweet and helpful. Husband and son was happy about the $4.00 beers.we had a 1 year old baby and was worried about bringing him as he can get loud with excitement but was a great atmosphere and the patrons didnt mind him. We played pool, played music. It was an overall outstanding place and definitely will spread the word and will return!! Thank you for great service and a fun time!!
I had the Clara Peller sandwich and fries, it was $15 an it was delicious! We were the only people in there at about 3 pm. Our server was nice, the food was fresh and the fries were seasoned to perfection.
Came here for lunch and loved it. We each got a burger. It was flavorful with a great bun. I loved how thin the onions were cut and the sauce was great too. Not sure exactly what “Uber sauce” is but it didn’t taste like the typical special sauce (aka some sort of thousand island variation) that a lot of other burger places have.
The fries were great too. You get a lot to an order but they were so good we managed to polish them off.
The fountain drink section wasn’t huge but did have a number of specialty sodas to choose from which was a nice surprise.
We don’t make it to Deep Ellum often, but this would be our go-to spot for a budget friendly meal in the area.
The food was absolutely amazing. That ribeye sandwich has been on my mind since I left.
The place was clean enough, but it could stand to be spruced up a bit.
Our service was solid. I was in a bit of a hurry and she wasted no time getting us our order.

I so loved theses burgers. It’s not fancy just a regular burger but they are really delicious. I recommend this place if your in the mood for just a regular simple burger 🍔
Great place to stop in when you’re exploring Deep Ellum. There was plenty of seating, though I went during the week while everyone was at work. I would imagine in the evening, or on the weekend, this place fills up. There were pool tables and a section just for the bar, separate from the tables. The menu is simple but there are plenty of options. I enjoyed the view while eating the Cuban sandwich I ordered.
Perhaps the greatest hole in the wall I've dined at all year. I went here with my brother on his recommendation and it lived up to my expectations. Service was good, the habanero ranch is a nice compliment to the sandwich, and the sandwich is very filling.

This place has become a safe space for me. I was introduced to this amazing sammich shop in January 2018 by a close friend, who was surprised that I had never eaten at Uncle Uber's prior. I've worked in the neighborhood for about 3 years now, and I even moved down the street late last year, but I'd simply passed by without ever going in. Backstory: I've been a vegetarian for over a year now, so I was a little underwhelmed by the idea of sandwiches. I thought to myself: there are no vegetarian sandwiches, and even if there are, they can't be that good.
Oh, but Uncle Uber's was up for the challenge. It is now June 2018, and I now visit once or twice a month minimum, once a week when I'm feeling "fancy". The price point is affordable, economical, etc. The portions are quite substantial, and the flavors are ALL there, consistently. I am thoroughly impressed with Uncle Uber's Sammich Shop.
As a Vegetarian, I've eaten the Veggie BunMe, The Mediterranean Melt, The Grilled Cheese, The Happy Hippie, the Salad with Goat Cheese and Veggies, The Impossible Burger, the French Fries w/The Secret Sauce (DOPE), and their Ice Creams. All of these left me wanting more, and excited for my next visit. They also sell Zapp's Potato Chips, this alone adds 1 star because those are my favorite chips to eat with a great sandwich.
In a nutshell: Stop by, you will find something you love.

Back again. Had the shaved ribeye with jalapeños. So so good.
What a cool place. I had the bacon and goat cheese sandwich and it was fantastic. My wife had the Happy Hippie sandwich and said it was the best sandwich she's ever had. The hand cut fries were amazing. The service was great and folks were very friendly. Great place.
Ordered a smoking turkey, the Cuban, a double and a side of fries with the habanero ranch for the side sauce. Food came out pretty quick! The smoking turkey has a nice garlic butter toasted bread. The Cuban was done fairly well although bits of the pork were dry. The fries came with a slight cajun like seasoning and were nothing spectacular but were good. They are just french fries so hard to mess those up! The double was the end game. This burger tasted great! I really enjoyed it and this burger is enough to come here for if you're not a fan of the regular sammiches.
