Went there on Friday & the wait was about 45 min to an hour if you get there at around 11:30. Overall the food was exceptional. I got the brisket, which they offer 3 types (lean, moist & chopped), the moist was unbelievably good. It was simply melt in your mouth, juicy & moist. Delicious. They also offer three different types of sausages, which were great. Very happy I got to try it & can believe why they are rated right there at the top of BBQ places.

This place was everything I heard about. We went on a slower day and it was worth the small wait. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was the best I had ever had. The sides are phenomenal and of course the meats are top notch. And, just to make this place even better, the owners talked with us and welcomed us first timers like she had known us for years. What a FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC place.

Melts in your mouth! Delicious! Go about 10am and get in line. I went at 10:45 and pretty long line, but it was in the AC so not too bad. Waited approximately an hour. #worthit

This place is awesome! The turkey is out of this world, that black pepper edge is what really sets it apart. The pulled pork just melts in your mouth and the brisket is greatness! Don’t forget to check out my two favorite sides: Green Chili Mac & Cheese and the Burnt End Beans!

I Now have a true measure in which to grade all BBQ. I Pre-ordered brisket, sausage, Mac & cheese, beans and potato salad for our company lunch. Everyone loved it - all of it! The day after, and everyone at Martinaire Aviation is still talking about the best BBQ lunch we ever had. Highly recommended!

Some of the best bbq I've ever eaten. A little expensive, but you get what you pay for, and its worth every penny.

I have eaten at most of the top BBQ places in Texas and this is right up there with Franklin's. True Texas bbq and like all great Texas BBQ, no sauce is needed.

Best ribs that I have had in North Texas. Really good brisket and the burnt end beans are outstanding. They ran out if the Mac and cheese which is awesome too. Bring some patience because you will wait in a long line but it is worth it!

Some of the best BBQ I've ever had! Only open 4 days a week and every 1st Sat. Line was long, but it was definitely worth the wait. We ordered burnt ends, 3 types of sausage, pork ribs, street corn, mac and cheese, beans, and 2 crack cakes. The atmosphere was casual and very welcoming! I'm looking forward to trying their waygu bologna

BBQ is very subjective but my two cents😅 We got the Texas Trinity plate which includes 1/3 lb of brisket, sausage and a pork rib. The brisket was very flavorful and moist, the rib was good, a bit on the drier side for me and the sausage was ok . Of the sides we got, burnt end beans, Street corn and wagyu chili, the beans were the best. Street corn had too much cumin(?) and the chili was a bit greasy. I would definitely like to see other items on the menu like fried okra and/or French fries. Oh and the sliced bread was really good as well.

It's one of the best BBQ that I have ever had. The brisket is so good that it doesn't need sauce on it. The sausage is very juicy. And the skins have a great pop to it. When you bit into it. The beans have burnt ends mixed in it. That makes it so much better than other places beans. This is the real deal Texas BBQ. You can't go wrong getting anything there. It's a definite go out and get!!!

Took the Texas trinity. Sausage link was okay. I recommend you just get the brisket by the pound. Pork Ribs are also good but briskets are much better. I heard the crack cake is fantastic so try that too. Texas Trinity is $23.99 at the moment so prices are pretty reasonable.

So, heard about this place from B4 bbq and had to try it out! I got the cattleack platter (roughly 110$ prices may vary) which came with every meat besides the specials which at the time I went was pastrami brisket and jerk chicken. Misty came out to greet everyone and tell everyone about the specials and greet the new comers! She explained that the jerk chicken had been something they'd been perfecting for a long time and it was fantastic. Beef ribs: I'm writing this review a day after eating here to process my experience and I keep remembering the taste of this rib in my mouth. Perfect bark, tore like butter and almost fluffy when bitting into it. Amazing beef rib. My favorite Beef rib so far! Platter came with a lean piece and moist piece of brisket. The moist piece was very flavorful and just the right amount of fat. And the lean was cooked perfectly. Chopped pork: I was so glad to see a straight pork option, and it did not disappoint! Turkey: super moist turkey! Great peppery flavor! Top tier turkey! Sides: we got potato salad, dirty rice, and brisket beans and mac and cheese. Brisket beans were pretty good. Sides weren't my favorite part of the whole experience but still good enough sides to compliment the excellent cooked meat. Last but certainly not least. The crack cake! This thing is a must-have! I would come back and wait in line just to get another slice! Do not miss out! Just wanna thank B4 BBQ for recommending this place and Cattleack for creating such amazing BBQ.

Took a (4mile) walk last Thursday over to try some BBQ, and it was worth it! Went for the Texas Trinity plate along with a side of the hatch mac and cheese (and some crack cake for dessert!) The brisket was excellent, and the pork rib was almost as good. The mac and cheese was very good, and the crack cake was delicious. I also bought some extra brisket to take home, along with some Bologna and some of the burnt end beans. The Bologna was great (and also made for a fabulous sandwich the next morning!), but the brisket somehow managed to taste even better as leftovers the next day!

We were the first ones in line today and SO worth it! We enjoyed the pastrami brisket and burnt ends! The hatch chilie Mac and cheese is so far my FAVORITE side! The Cole slaw was alright. Light vinegar base and was a decent palate cleanser between the flavors. The brisket was very VERY moist. We also had the hot link (hottest one offered for today) and to be honest it wasn't spicy, but still pretty damn good! Pork belly was a quick impulse buy AND A DAMN GOOD CHOICE. The banana pudding was very fluffy and so delicious. I definitely recommend getting there around 1030 am ish- by the time you get your food will be around 11.

Food was great don't get me wrong. I've been to several of the top spots in dfw and this ranks up with them. My only complaint is that everything isn't kept at the temp it should be kept at. Ribs brisket and sausage were super flavorful and so were the sides. Some of the items however were almost room temp when I took my first bite (and I was like 10th in line at 10am). Should've been hot and ready, no reason brisket and sides should be held just above luke warm. But all in all, it was very good. I'd say #3 or #4 of the big league spots in DFW.

This is a truly excellent Dallas BBQ. Having gone through the Texas Trinity on a personal basis, what I can say is there is salvation in meat! I also recommend some hatch chili mac & cheese, and if they have the burnt-end beans don’t pass .

Come early and be prepared for a wait. Took an hour from standing in line to sitting and eating, but well worth it. The menu sells out, so try to get there closer to opening if you want the full selection. The beef ribs were the highlight - also most expensive but for good reason. The sides are excellent, definitely give them a shot as well even if you get the smallest size. Friendly people, great atmosphere, and overall cool experience!

Was on a Texas trip and tried seeking out the best BBQ in the Dallas area; and this was on most peoples lists. You get met with a line out the door and a wide range of food options once you get in. My friends and I sampled most of the menu; the burnt ends were out favorite as they had a rich, smoky flavor and tenderness to them. The mac and cheese and collard greens were great sides, the brisket had nice flavor, and the ribs were very meaty. I knock it down because all of it was a bit salty and a little expensive for the portions we got. Overall still worth a stop.

Cattleack Barbeque- delicious!! #6 on the Texas Monthly BBQ list, should be higher on the list. The pics on the outside and inside of the restaurant show all the BBQ greats in Texas. The burnt ends were my absolute favorite!! I went in a Thursday and got there at 9:00AM and was number 3 in line. The doors open at 10. Cattleack even has foldable chairs set out for the first 20 people. You need to check out the place!!!

Incredible craft barbecue. Finally was able to get the Pastrami Beef Rib before they sold out and it was well worth it! Incredibly tender and the pastrami marinade has a great flavor. For the side try the street corn. It’s amazing. Another popular plate is the Trinity Plate which comes with brisket, pork rib, and choice of sausage (try the spicy). A cool aspect of your experience is just the wait and seeing the murals that are outside and pictures and news stories inside.

I think this is the top spot for brisket in DFW. hours are tough and you might need to wait but it is worth it. We got there at abt 1:20 on Sat and had abt a 25 min wait. Some.e things like the beans, bologna and pastrami beef ribs were sold out by the time we got to the counter but they still had brisket, ribs and sausage. Delicious

Great service! Get there early! We came on a Friday afternoon for lunch around 12:15pm. They were sold out of beef ribs by 12:45pm. Worth the wait in line, it goes by fast! We waited 20-25 minutes. Lots of people came by 1:30pm and they were sold out of everything by then. We got the fatty/moist beef brisket, pork ribs, hog and slaw burger, and the burnt ends beans. Pork ribs were our favorite by far. They also free beer if you come early enough, but they were out by the time we checked out.

Honestly so very good!! Got there at 1pm so a lot of things sold out. So if you want to try it all get here before 11:30! But the brisket we had and Mac and cheese was so amazingly awesome! Definitely must try!!!

Believe the hype - this place is legit, arguably the best BBQ I’ve had. Seriously. Had to try a variety, but when I go back, I’m getting The Toddfather sandwich - brisket, pulled pork, sausage, coleslaw - insane. The Pitboss is another excellent choice. Sliced brisket was incredible, ribs were great - saw a beef rib that someone else ordered and it was massive! Didn’t try the turkey because they were out - makes me want to try it! Mac and cheese was good. Tried the burnt ends and baked beans with burnt ends - save your money on these, not worth it. Only real disappointment was the lack of decent drinks - no fountain drinks or sodas, everything was in a bottle. Guess all their energy is focused on making incredible BBQ - and I can’t really complain about that! Go early or be prepared to stand in line - check to make sure it’s open, too. Worth the effort to get to Cattleack BBQ - again, some of the best meat I’ve ever eaten!
