I love this place and I am far from vegetarian. They just always have dishes that intrigue and satiate me. Everything is always fresh. The menu designates dishes that may contain eggs or dairy. The courtyard patio is serene and magical. The staff is always so kind and helpful.
Consistently well prepared. Our favorite place to eat healthy, which may be the whole idea. Kalachandjis uses only vegetables and herbs, except maybe for their tea which is made from a plant everyone loves. if you're wanting a delicious meal with nice atmosphere and people then this is the place for you!
Authentic and comfortable, the setting is refreshing except in summer when sitting on the patio can be too hot in the Texas summer heat. Plus there are insects like bees to fight off. Over all the food , atmosphere and wait staff more then make up for this inconvenience.
my favorite place in Dallas! Food is amazing, people are amazing, atmosphere is amazing. Its happy food, because it is impossible to leave in a bad mood!
I went with a friend who knows how real indian food should taste and he surprised on how good and close to home made authentic indian food...]
The chicken tikka was one of the best I had and the naan bread... yammi
The place was clean and the stuff was friendly. They will see me again!
Always love the food and atmosphere. You won't be disappointed, even meat eaters. Check out the patio - very serene.
This place rocks. I am not vegan, but enjoyed everything on the menu. Chickpea soup rocked, the basmati rice was perfect, and the outside courtyard was pretty cool on a 70 degree Feb afternoon - thanks!

Food was delicious. Adopting a new lifestyle is not always easy, and places like this one makes it even better. I will definitely visit as much as I can!
La comida estuvo deliciosa. Adoptar un nuevo estilo de vida no siempre es fácil, y lugares como este lo hacen aún mejor. Definitivamente volveré cuantas veces me sea posible!
This place was a real treat. Great vegetarian & vegan food. Felt like we had been transported to India. Look forward to coming back the net time we're in Dallas!
Not a vegetarian, but this is one of my very favorite restaurants! Everything is delicious, fresh, and never over-seasoned. Peaceful environment, lovely place!
I cannot wait to return. The food and staff are amazing.
Always a great vegetarian meal here, and for the first time, I can say I love black eyed peas. They make delicious vegetables, and I say that as someone who doesn't like most vegetables that much. Great vibes here too. Love it!
The best food and experience in all of DFW. just get there early to get a good spot in line!
What a wonderful place. The food was excellent. The staff and setting were perfect.
So good. This is probably the farthest restaurant from our house (of all the places we go to), but totally worth the 10 mile trek!
This place surprised me in every way. The food was top class vegetarian. With sweets . All self-service. The most impressive is the devotion with which they attend on you when necessary. It's a kind of silent prayer. It is your money's worth in every way.
My boyfriend and I come here once a week. It’s very good and flavorful. It’s all vegetarian or vegan. It’s a buffet but you have to pay after grabbing your plate and can come back for more. The service is nice all the employees are sweet and helpful. Food is made fresh. Clean areas to sit inside or outside in their beautiful courtyard. Easy to take it home as well.
The restaurant is a gem which is closer to the city center. We visited on Sunday for lunch. I will discuss the restaurant and then share some information about the temple.
1. There are two entrances (one from the parking lot and the other from the temple’s side). *images attached
2. Lunch timings: 12 pm to 3 pm
3. Price: Lunch - 14.95/ per person; Dinner - $17.95 / per person
4. Food is sattvic (contains no onion, no garlic). It is easy to digest, and neither is it spicy.
5. Outfit: People were dressed in traditional attire or casual. Recommend semi-formal.
©️MillionDollarCravings Recommendations:
a) Take small portions. Taste it first so that you don't waste the food.
b) Try to be early so that you can enjoy the meal
c) Visit the temple as it is adjacent to the restaurant. Please take a seat there; it's very peaceful (recommended before lunch/dinner)
Hit 👍 of it was helpful.

World class destination of actors, Musicians and vegans from all over the Planet. Indian cuisine at its finest. Attached to the Temple and accessible by back parking lot.i am not a vegan, in fact carnivore lol. However I could be turned out Vegan if I had daily access to these recipes and fare. My daughter and Grandson love this place. I normally do not like Indian cuisine or curry heavy recipes but their excellent blend of spices are delicious. Looking forward to dining there again soon.
One of my favorite places to eat in Dallas. The food is always fresh and very flavorful. Excellent buffet options that change daily and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. The ambience is everything you would expect from a Hindu temple. Clean and always inviting.
I visited yesterday and all I can say is that the food was delicious. The staff was very nice, Jose explained to my friend and I what every dish was made off since we had little knowledge about Indian food. I loved everything and I will definitely come back.
Kalachandji's is a wonderful experience. The temple is spiritually uplifting and simply beautiful, and they have a really cool gift shop with all sorts of goodies. The food in the restaurant is vegan, but that does not mean it isn't very tasty. The menu varies daily and it's set up buffet style, but don't get too much of any one thing, because you'll probably want to try a little bit of it all; you can always go back for more, but please be aware of what you waste. Definitely check this place out!
This place never disappoints me. They always come up with twists in their preparation style. Some days the food is prepared in pure ghee and some days with coconut oil.
Although over time the dishes have reduced, however never the less the spread is lavish. Their tamarind juice is always a delight.
Would certainly continue visiting this place.
Rich culture of a particular Indian Hindu sect depicted inside. Imparts a serene ambience. The restaurant is standalone and has an spectacular ambience with a splendid porch that transports one to one of the many temple gardens of India. Can spend hours there appreciating the decor.
Food is very simple, reminiscent of home cooked food, great authentic flavor profile. Loved the uniquely refreshing tamarind sherbet.
Even though they're pure vegetarian, they rank as one of my favorite Indian restaurants in the US, of whatever I've explored.
Nice atmosphere good food. We can visit any day.
