The best in Big D no doubt! The lobsta roll, clam chowda, the fried clams, the best French fries in the whole world, the specials, the desserts, BYOB...hello!
The problem with this place is you can't stop. Yesterday, i got the coconut mushroom soup, had the jicama watermelon salad, then started eating some fries. I don't even eat fries! Oh, but these are so good, with extra garlic and rosemary! Then, had some fried clams...so good! Then i ordered the fish/shrimp and chips basket...cuz it came with fries! I have also had the blackened shrimp with grits, and catch of the day. Definately check out the daily specials!!! I live in Plano, but i am a regular. I would love some right now!
So far I have only had the lobster roll twice here. It is simply the best seafood dish I have ever eaten. The bread part of the roll is made on the premises. I love the food, the premises and the people who own it.
I have been eating here since they opened. I have never had a meal that was anything less than wonderful. Great food, great owners, great staff. One of my favorite places to eat in Dallas and luckily I live right up the street.
Amazing blend of asian and seafood, we had the lobster roll and the pork belly Vietnamese sandwiches both delicious. My only complaint is the clam chowder, although still good it was more chunky then creamy imo.
I would highly recommend this restaurant and plan to go back to try their Ramen dish....
Everything on the menu is well executed. Gourmet qualify food in a casual atmosphere. I will definitely return and try additional items, as i really loved the Fried Oyster Po Boy and your slaw!
This was our first trip, it will not be our last. The Ipwich whole belly clams were lightly battered and fried ... perfection. The lobster roll filling was generous and excellent. The homemade roll was incredible. The service was friendly and effecient. The smell of dough rising along with casual relaxed atmosphere added to the meal.
Food is amazing and the service is excellent. If it is your first time there, i recommend the fries as a side for anything. Sandwiches either the lobster roll or poboy will do you good, if you go for fancier full meals? They have weekly specials and the sea bass plate. oh man!!! GO GET SOME!
Food was great as always. Drove a 60 mile round trip to get here! Lobster roll is generous and wonderful, and the best thing on earth is the whole belly clams. Wish I lived closer. I frequently eat at Legal Seafoods in Washington DC, and 20 Feet is somehow better and less expensive.
Great food and great people! We had a large group and got great service and the food was excellent. We go there frequently and have never had a bad experience!!(Our dogs have been, and they enjoyed it as well!!!!)

The best lobster roll and muscles ever! Bring your own special bottle of wine + good company = perfect evening.
Casey made the place by bringing us pie. He loves asian foreigners who take pictures of him. Oh so very nice

My 6 year old son thinks you make the best fried shrimp :) his twin sister loves the ramen and my husband and I love the shrimp and grits:) super duper yummy!! Great service great food!! We love it!!!
Would you name a restaurant with a name that had to do anything with feet? Thing that one through you marketing geniuses..... You will find 20 Feet tucked in a what could be just another small-ish strip mall in East Dallas. Not too hard to find although this could be one of the most self-limiting issues for this excellent sea food purveyor ....along with the somewhat limited parking due to the bar next door. The food really is quite good - shrimp are great as are the lobster rolls, the fries, and do not forget the key lime pie. Very friendly and rapid service too. The story behind the name 20 feet is on the wall along with several other items worth reading.
If you're looking for some good seafood, this is the place. Not fancy at all, small, with inside or outside service. A bit pricey, but hey, it's seafood!! Try the lobster rolls, shrimp po'boy, or fried shrimp and chips. Huge plump shrimp with no tails, lightweight batter. In a three restaurant strip off Garland Rd and Peavy in Dallas. Surprising location, but really good food. Very casual.
20 FT is one of our favorite low-key seafood restaurants in Dallas. The food is always on-point and it's BYOB, so feel free to bring your own nice bottle of wine or beer of choice and they will provide you with glasses and a bucket of ice to keep your drinks chilled. This is the first time I've order something other than the lobster roll - which is hands down one of the best in Dallas. We ordered the blackened shrimp scampi on parmesan grits topped with a lightly dressed slaw and the pork belly ramen. The ramen was decent but we'd definitely recommend their seafood based dished over it. Also, their Rosemary and garlic seasoned fries are divine.
It was good. Not the best clam chowder I've ever had but good. The shrimp and grits was very good. I really liked the slaw on top. The fries were great. My husband enjoyed the Lobster Roll saying it was excellent; nothing exotic but good.
Lobster done perfectly. Best in Dallas. House salad very fresh.
Fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the food.
Awesome Food, Casual Atmosphere. This is not a place where you will find cheap, crappy fried, low rent seafood, so don't come looking for a shitty filet of tilapia and a bill of 5 bucks. Head on over to Big Shucks for that, if that's what you are into. (not that there's anything wrong with that)
Chef/owner Marc Cassel (The Green Room, Dragonfly, Park) brings in high quality seafood and you will pay a slight premium for that. That's what we want here in Dallas! However it is by no means expensive, especially for the quality that you get. I noticed one review that complained about the price of the oysters. These are Blue Points, which elsewhere can cost up to 2.50 a piece. Here they are 9/18 for a half dozen/dozen. Very reasonable. The cheapies elsewhere are generic gulf oysters that do not have the depth of flavor as these.
One of the top choices is a superb lobster roll, which is ALL lobster. That is the most expensive item on the menu at 18 bucks. Others include a great, authentic fish and chips, seasonal fresh fish (Mahi Mahi last time we dined), awesome clam chowder, mexican shrimp cocktail, and whole belly ipswich clams. Not to be missed, however, are Marc's famous "Green Room Mussels", a staple at his former restaurant The Green Room. The juicy bivalve mollusks are in a killer broth of ginger, garlic, champagne, and shitake mushrooms. Don't miss em.
Two out of the box, yet wonderful additions to the 20 Feet menu are a Pork Belly Bahn Mi, and a huge bowl of Ramen noodles. Wow.
So now you perhaps have spent a bit more than you expected, mainly because you kept going back to the counter to order more, however remember that this is BYOB! Hell yea, and Marc will bring you an ice bucket to sink whatever fine wine or beer you brought in with you. That's a serious savings right there. (especially if you tend to drink a couple of bottles, like me).
Lastly, the place is seriously rustic. You order at the counter and it's brought out to your table in a timely fashion. Very casual and low maintenance. No need for fancy clothes here!
Good Crispy Cod Po-Boy. Th.... Good Crispy Cod Po-Boy.
The bread is too small for the fish and everything falls apart. But very good.
A 50 seat BYOB no frills seafood joint on the east side of Dallas. Awarded DFW’s best place for Fish & Chips, and the Lobster Roll is right up there too, one of the better ones I have eaten and I have eaten my fair share. Beware, dinner time it is packed. High end food without the dress code. New England Style Clam Chowda Classic Fish & Chips Lobster Roll Share this: Twitter Facebook
Definitely enjoyed this place! Lobster bisque was a bit too bitter but honestly not bad, fries were a little too salty but I didn't mind, everything else no complaints. Excellent fried food, hand made buns, fries had garlic and herbs on them, super tasty! Cozy place, I think all three restaurants tend to be busy but we visited around noon on a Sunday and it wasn't bad, most people were outside. Despite my not being well dressed and groggy due to just waking up the cashier was still super friendly and professional too!
Absolutely, hands down, the best seafood in Dallas!! The fried Ipswich whole belly clams are so fresh, you can taste the seawater. The bread used for the Poboys is made in house and is the real deal! The sides are tremendous and can easily be shared. Definitely my go to for seafood!!
We ordered the green room mussels and it was good and flavorful! The bread that came along with it was warm and toasty and great when dipped. We also got the fish and chip platter, wasn’t too impressed. Staff was super nice.
The seafood gumbo was tasty but I added some hot sauce. Pork belly bun-mi on point. Shrimp & grits wildly good. Blackened chicken sandwich & falafel were great too. Can't wait to come back. Oh and if you need something to chill your wine in.. They got you there too.
Haven’t been disappointed yet. Lobster role is a favorite for most, salmon and swordfish, when on the specials list, are excellent. You may feel weird ordering the steak sandwich and fries at this seafood place, but it may be the best in town. BYOB, which takes some planning.
Been craving some lobster rolls and heard that 20 Feet Seafood Joint is the best here in Dallas.
Oh boy... it lives up to the hype. Price is reasonable for the portion and the taste... Fantastic!!! It’s finger licking good!!! And the fries, it’s definitely a hit!
Service was great and quick. The owner was very friendly as well as the staff.
Definitely will be back for more lobster rolls.
The lobster roll was amazing! Cod po-boy is excellent. French fries were nicely seasoned. The shrimp cocktail wasn't too sweet like some restaurants tend to make them. It was very well balanced and I liked how they diced the shrimp so you get a bite in every spoon full.
The food was delish! We had the New England clam chowder, lobster roll, and fish & chips. Worth the drive from Southlake, but wish they were closer!
A superb dining experience in relaxed and beautiful Lakewood. Service was super sweet and quick- roasted salmon skin for my doggy which was the most pleasant surprise! The Bay of Fundy salmon special was insanely good and each component individually tasted fresh. The shrimp po boy was the best I’ve had in the area and the slaw was cool and crunchy 🤤. Thanks guys for a great Saturday night bite! Will be back.
Stopped by for a lobster roll. Got some french fries also. Lobster roll was good but the french fries were awesome. If you have not been, go check it out. Open for lunch and dinner. BYOB. Counter service. Good prices for great food.
