Nathan made me a sugar-free/low carb margarita-quasi ice blended vodka sour off the menu and I'm smitten. Haven't found any places this nice that will accommodate low sugar requests. Super friendly accommodating staff and awesome place to hit when you visit Bishop Arts district
I ordered their chicken Chile Relleno (my favorite dish) and was amazed with the overall unique flavor. Just, wow. My husband had their shrimp fajitas. Which is a big deal because he usually sticks to basic chicken and doesn't bother with the onions and peppers that come with it. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our food and drinks came out faster than expected. The customer service was fantastic everyone was so warm welcoming. Even the music was on point. We definitely enjoyed ourselves. This was our first visit and will not be our last!
The food was amazing and margaritas on point! The best mango & sangria swirl margaritas I've ever had. The staff was the best. I'll be back!
OMG!!! Their food is amazing! like seriously! If you come by this place and you don't get a taste of it.. you are missing!!! Super recommended! Ate enhiladas huastecas and the flavor was so good! Tastes like in Veracruz. I'll be looking back on this menu when I go back to dallas!;)
The food was delicious, great atmosphere and hospitality was on point! I will be back!
A neighborhood gem. The food and the service is excellent. Highly recommend the Borracho del Pueblo. The limeade is so good I don't order margaritas.
Loved the enchiladas huastecas, the black beans were awesome and the service was excellent, I took two friends with me who have never been there before and they loved it as well!! Keep up the good work!!
This cafe was absolutely amazing the service was fantastic and the food was brilliant. Also try the cocktails they was delicious Will be definitely going back when we are next in Dallas
Excellent food and friendly personnel the margaritas very good
Muchas gracias Veracruz Café. Grácias Emiliano Mata por la gran atención para mi familia. Gracias por tener un pedacito de Veracruz en Texas.
The food was so good and the service was excellent. This was my first visit and it will not be my last!
Delicious and authentic Mexican food. From the salsa to the soup to the fish tacos to the mole to the chile relleno, everything was fresh, tasty, and filling.
We’ll definitely be back!
Cute corner location with both indoor and outdoor seating options. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Tending and hospitable service. Really good made to order food.
I adore this place! Really authentic Mexican style food which is super flavourful! Lots of veggie or vegan options too
They were also very accommodating with us asking for things that were slightly off the menu, like veggie quesadillas (which btw, phenomenal)
Their chips and salsa for the table was phenomenal too! I think the best salsa I’ve had in the DFW area haha
This meal was really good. The ambience is fun. We will come back for dinner now that we have tried lunch. The portions were decent and matched the price points . Tried the pollo carnival and the boracho del Pueblo. Both are flavorful and memorable. The decor is eclectic and inviting. Wish I could gobble more stars.
Authentic Veracruz food. The ambience is very nice and the presentation of the food is excellent. The service is very good as well.
Stopped by here on the way to the airport, and are we glad we did. Figured I'd go with the brisket tacos, being in Texas and all. Best tacos I've had in a while. The wife had the Horchata rum and blue floutas, and she gave them both a thumbs up. I'm definitely coming back for more!
The food was way better than the last time visited about two years ago. I highly recommend the mole and paloma to drink.
What a great service staff. They were all very attentive and nice. We were all big fans of the red salsa which was mild and the enchilada salsa was perfectly spicy. The food was really good though I will say the Tacos Al Pastor tasted more like adobo pork and one too many tortillas for the amount of meat in the plate. Other than that, the lemonade was fresh and tangy, not at all overly sweet. The red rice and black beans were tasty and the fried plantains were an added bonus to the plates. Overall, delicious and truly authentic Mexican food.
I got to say one of the authentic Mexican restaurants I’ve been too in bishops arts 👍🏾 the woman who work here are really nice and very funny if you talk to them 😂 I had a great time with my family here and everything was so perfect! The food here is so good I wanted to stay and try their huge burrito my brother got but they had to head back home 😩 but let me just say this.. COME HERE! This place has so much space and accessibility for handicapped wheelchair individuals but that’s only in one section they have stairs to go to the other side of the building
It's a really nice place we went there when there was nobody we were the only one. I didn't eat the food over there but my friends did. The service was really good they were really nice and courteous to us and served really well. The place itself looks really nice the red walls the painting on the walls the atmosphere is really you can say romantic. The dishes were really big and by what my friends told me really good and tasty so you can buy one big plate and share it.
Good food and nice environment! I ordered the flautas and they were so good! As an appetizer we got the queso fundido and it was a big portion. It’s such a different type of Mexican cuisine than what I’m use to but so glad I got to try. Service was great in general.
Mole was outstanding! Fresh squeezed lemonade hit the spot. Friendly staff. Our waitress gave us some great selection advice. Not crowded. Fantastic tamales, enchiladas, and steak.
Not pictured here is the life-changing mole sauce that was on my husband’s enchiladas. This place has such flavor and atmosphere. I can’t recommend it enough! Just do yourself a favor and get something with the mole.
The queso fundido is amazing, like absolutely amazing. I would drive an hour to have this any day. The mole is also good, but the chicken it’s served with is not. The chips and salsa are also pretty good. Service is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is quaint and unique.
The food is phenomenal!! Picture will not do it justice! But trust when I tell you it is all authentic. Made me think of when I was 5 and my mom was cooking like this. I will definitely be back for a few more rounds.
Had drinks and the Mexican Egg Rolls, cute spot and in a great area.
Incredibly delicious and full of flavor. I love the jarochitas (like Mexican egg rolls) and the cactus salad is unique. The server was very kind and attentive. Highly recommend trying this place!
