Went there with some coworkers earlier this week.
The staff/owner were very friendly and welcoming.
The food was good, but the portions were really small for the price. I ordered the lamb rack expecting a huge plate but it was underwhelming.
Nice experience overall
Foods portions were small but the presentation and service were great. The hookah was on point but a little expensive. The mint tea was amazing and the lamb kofta was to die for. Great place for a date.
My son & I love to try new restaurants, so we decided to give Baboush a try. Even though we had to drive from BlueMound to Dallas, it was 100% worth it.
The atmosphere is great, I love the vibe of the place. At our request, our server gave us with several suggestions. Everything we tried was delicious!
We ordered the Mezza appetizer and it was large enough to be a meal. My son ordered Chicken Kebab and I tried the Kofta. Wow! Absolutely phenomenal!
We followed the server’s advice and ordered a dessert; the Baklava Bowl. It was enormous and I’m glad we had decided to share our dessert.
Fun place for a special treat. By the time we finished, (huge appetizer, 1 glass wine, 1 lemonade, 2 entrees, and dessert, the bill was almost $125 (without the tip). Definitely not in my budget to go often, but perfect for a special dinner.
The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Michael and welcomed with so much warmth! It’s a family owned restaurant and you can really feel their passion and enthusiasm behind the food they make and your experience overall. Moe was our server and went through the menu and recommended us on everything. One of the best experiences I’ve had, this place is a must try!!! 😊
We enjoyed the mezze platter, vegetable couscous, and Baklava bowl.
This place was a delight!! The decor is loooovely and on Friday night we got to enjoy our meal with some live music. The staff was very attentive and their recommendations did not miss. Definitely have dessert with your Turkish coffee, it was a great end to the night
Baboush!
A lovely discovery of awesome food, great drinks, and a beautiful & chill atmosphere!
I've dined here several times, and every time, I've fully enjoyed my experience!
The food is delicious and very flavorful! The Harissa wings are one of my favorite, and I highly recommend them as an appetizer!
The drinks are also really good, and whomever curated the drink menu definitely didn't shy away from providing variety in spirits or flavor profiles!
Hookah is also available if you choose to dine out on the patio!
The baklava’s bawl was great. However, the presentation and even the content was not consistent between the first and second time I went… only reason for the 4 star. First time had ice cream and everything seemed fresh. Second time they subbed ice cream with custard and it really threw the taste off. Pictures attached for the two times I went. Staff was friendly and very nice.
Very delicious and authentic. All the food was very flavorful. We went here for lunch and weren't disappointed. The food is a little higher priced than I was expecting but the portions were good and the food was filling. I would go back here again. I got the apricot lamb couscous and it was wonderful. The only downside is I had to specifically ask for the check instead of them bringing us the check when the meal was finished.

Dined here last month with my husband right at 5 pm. We were the only people on the inside and there was a couple with a baby outside. They had a great variety on the menu and the food itself had lots of flavor and was cooked well and tasted delicious. We ordered the baba ganoush, wings and beef cigars. All great and the Turkish coffee was nice too.
Fantastic food here. Would come back again. The place itself is small, but they maximize on space. There is a couch lined up right behind the bar seating.
We were sat immediately (it was Sunday around dinner time).
It looked like a musician was setting up fora live performance later on. Considering the room size, that might get quite loud for those with sensitive ears. No music while we were there though, and conversations around the room were muted enough for us to enjoy our table conversation at a normal volume.
We ordered the big appetizer player, which had hummus and harissa and babagagnous. Everything on the platter was so tasty. I would order a whole jar of the harissa if I could.
We also got the baklava bowl dessert, which had Turkish cotton candy and fresh marscapone cheese. Oh my word, so good. The only thing that was odd was the ice cream, which was just a plain vanilla you could get at the store. Not needed when everything else in the bowl is so unique.
For drinks, a latte and a Turkish coffee (which came with a Turkish delite!! 🍬).
The manager came around once or twice to check in and make sure everyone was happy, and also to ask for reviews. They weren't overly crowded and I think they might be needing more business, which is honestly too bad, because if I lived close by this would be a weekly staple.
I've been here several times when I'm in the Dallas area and I do really like the food, but as others have pointed out, I realized after I looked at my copy of the receipt they printed out after I paid, they add on a 20% gratuity, but don't tell you that up front so I paid an additional 20% without knowing. They should print the bill and circle the gratuity they've added. That being said I do really like the food and the service was good, but next time I'll remember not to add another tip. They do get busy on weekends so I recommend making a reservation.

The ambience was really nice & tranquil. We particularly loved the outdoor seating area. The food was great and came out in good time. Absolutely loved the grilled salmon & basmati rice. My sister & friend had the chicken kebab & the lamb chops. They loved it too. The staff are also very friendly and hospitable. It’s a great spot and we’ll definitely be back.
I decided to take my SO here for a nice date night and we were met with fantastic music and a great environment upon arrival. The food was excellent and to compliment that was our even more amazing server Randa! She was so kind and incredibly attentive. I will be asking for Randa every time I come back thanks to her wonderful service!
The food was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. It's also a nice environment.
Everything was amazing. From our waitress to the owner to the food! Our to go spot every time we are in Dallas!! If you want chill/relaxing vibes and great food and better customer service. This is the place to be!!
Side note: he forgot my pita bread(inside joke)☺️
Side side note: dessert was bomb!!
The food was SOOO good! And the servers and manager were on top of it, always making sure we were satisfied with everything. Highly HIGHLY recommend.
The service is excellent with great conversations. The food is incredibly tasty and with a beautiful presentation. The vibe is a gorgeous mix of Palestinian and Moroccan design. I highly recommend Baboush!!
Staff was really friendly. Had the chicken kebab which was cooked perfectly and very flavorful! Also enjoyed getting to try Turkish Coffee for the first time. Would definitely recommend this place!
I was looking for Halal food options and I'm glad to have found Baboush and tried their food. It was nicely presented and very tasty, their service was also excellent.
