Food was great. The catfish was perfectly seasoned. The fried chicken was moist with a crunchy coating. Green beans perfectly seasoned. Okra was crunchy. Ambrose Salad was good just the right amount a sweetness. Mashed potatoes nice and creamy. I'll be nbsck for the chicken fried steak.
A retro Art Deco space with Southern comfort food standards. Great fried chicken and mud cat here. Sides are good and rolls doughy and sweet like mamma used to make. Strap the feed bag on here y’all.
Bubba's turned up on every best chicken fried steak list I read so I stopped in and was not disappointed. That said, what I found really amazing was actually the fried chicken. I also tried chicken tenders after I saw all the other tables had a plate of them, but ultimately I was most impressed by t
Just a wonderful place to eat and have a delicious meal. The chicken is outstanding and their vegetables tasty! I can't wait to go back!
Crispy yummy freshly fried catfish!! butter your cornbread well (I like it on the sweeter side). Country fried steak was fine 50s diner aesthetic with red neon lighting Men have to use portapotty but the ladies single-stall compact bathroom is clean and has air freshener.
I have eaten nearly a hundred breakfasts and dinners here. 99% of the time, they are consistently wonderful. I’ve posted about ten pictures of the same exact breakfast to show you the consistent quality of this timeless establishment. Do yourself a favor and eat here. Bubba’s always delivers.
Beans, rice, Jesus Christ, Joseph Biden! I’m a local and this is my first time here to say I’m dumbfounded I haven’t been here earlier is an understatement. Bubba’s is the best chicken I’ve had in Dallas outside of homemade. The seasoning and crust are to die for. They have honey on the table whic
Very solid breakfast biscuit (bacon, egg & cheese). Cinnamon role is a hard pass - it was dry and very very plain. Hasbrowns were cold, but I could tell they would have been very good if hot and crispy - they were incredibly busy filling the world largest to go order (which occupied the entire front
We got the 3 piece chicken and the combo with catfish and chicken tenders. Everything was delicious. The portions are large. I felt it was a good value for our money
I work in the energy square building in Dallas, Tx and I was looking for a near by place to get some good fried catfish. As I was searching, I came across this restaurant. It used to be called Bubba's Chicken. I went through the drive through and I ordered the catfish and a side of mashed potatoes w
So we have passed by this place for 3-years. Shame on us.... So the other day my wife went to this location only to support a fund raiser. She purchased a meal that she did not share with the rest of the family, and from that moment onward, that's all she's been talking about. It will be our new fa
I was in the area around lunchtime and I happen to run across this place so I decided to stop by. The chicken was absolutely perfect, juicy but not greasy The sides of mash potatoes, green beans and rolls were the best and the portion size...well you will definitely leave with a full stomach.
For about a dollar more than McDonald's you can eat real food. Enough said. Honestly I'm waiting to find a better spot in dallas for short order fried chicken. I recommend this to anyone who will listen.
Some of the best fried chicken in Dallas. You will not be disappointed by going into this restaurant. While parking may be a hassle, the trouble is definitely worth to delicious food they prepare. The staff is super friendly and goes above and beyond. Have already been twice in one week.
