This place was Absolutely Amazing from the service to the food. We had the bacon cheddar tator tots along with the stuffed French Toast, Chicken and Waffles , and Shrimp grits which was Grrrreat! Definitely a top 10 new spot for brunch!
Wow. Just wow! As soon as I walked in, I fell in love with the decor. So fun! Then the food happened. The chicken burger was one of the top burgers I've ever eaten! Great time, great atmosphere, great service and outstanding food!

Our dishes were prepared to perfection. We had the omelette and the beer batters fish and chips.... and mimosas!! Gary was the most enthusiastic and informative server and so kind.... it was a little chilly sitting under the vents, but it was fine..... LOVE coming her as a couple and with a group!!
Amazing food. Cauliflower and deviled egg appetizers, Thai salad and braised rib entrees, mashed potato with Brussel sprouts as a side. One of the best meals we've had, Tim was our server and he was outstanding.
What a fun place, I would recommend going there with a friend or two during the happy hour and eating everything in sight!
We go every Sunday now. The food is amazing, the mimosas are better ;) Ask for Gary he is the best!!!!!!!!
Awesome place Katie was great, some of the best margaritas in town and the food was incredible.
Best chicken and waffles I've had in DFW.... service for our large party (20 people) was timely and pleasant for brunch on a Sunday early afternoon! Will return for the stuffed French toast and the bison burger!
You have to try the cauliflower! It’s amazing. Also has a great selection of beer. Loved the Tangerine Express IPA.
Great service & nice atmosphere. I wanted a beer that was on tap and the tap ran out as my glass was being poured so it was on the house. I appreciated that. 👍🏽

First time here and it was a great experience. Food was awesome! My family and I played UNO until our food came. Great customer service.
We went here for Sunday brunch and it was fantastic. My mother had a Bloody Mary, while my sister and I shared a couple of mimosa carafes. But I tasted my mom's Bloody Mary and that's gotta be the best one in town.
I had the classic chicken and waffles, it was wonderful I really enjoyed it, while my mom had shrimp and grits. She said the sauce was amazing and the grits were just right. My sister had the Egg White Scramble and she said it was super good.
Our waitress was very sweet, as well! I'm suggesting people try this place for brunch, and I'll be back as well.
This place was really cool! I went here after a day of exploring in downtown Dallas. There was a little tram taking people around outside, what a fun feel. The staff was flexible with my ordering (swapping a turkey burger for the beef), and the food was amazing. I had the PB&J burger on a turkey burger. The decor in there is super cool, too. They had an entire window surrounded by old yearbooks from different schools on the wall. Definitely recommend!
On our mystery picnic we stopped here to try the highly recommended Crushed Velvet cocktail. It's was amazing along with a great public school atmosphere. We didn't eat here, but the food passing by us smelled and looked absolutely delicious! We'll definitely be back to eat.
Cool school themed restaurant with a grown up vibe.
The food was delicious, and drinks were tasty as well! We ried the Strawberry sunset cocktail during Happy hour which was $9, a little pricey imo, but a delicious drink none the less. The Thai coconut Curry Chicken was tasty and the chicken was moist, and the added toasted coconutgave it that extra umph! The Elote Blackened Shrimp Pasta was soooo good! The season on the huge blackened shrimp was flavored just right! The Truffle Mac n Cheese was also really good, not the usual creamy Mac I'm used too, but it still had a light delicate flavor, and the fresh sliced parmesean was a perfect addition.
If you are in the Uptown area, I would most def give this place a try!
I was able to visit Public School 214 today and had a great experience. Today I was able to try different types of foods. For example, I tried the buffalo cauliflower which resembles buffalo wings but with vegetables of course. I really really enjoyed them.
I was also able to try the bulgogi cheesesteak roll and it was very tasty. I love the grill onions and bell peppers, it was the perfect match! They had two different types of ketchup one was regular and one was with Sriracha and I felt that Sriracha version tasted better.
I was also able to try the strawberry tangerine drink and it was so good and I would highly recommend it for anyone who doesn’t drink I want to try something new aside from lemonade.
I had a very attentive later and he made just the right recommendations for me to try since I’m a picky eater. I love where this is located in Dallas, and I would love to try this place again.
Sunday-Funday!!!!! Met a good friend for breakfast/brunch at Public School 214. Gotta love the public education system 😂 Had reservations on OpenTable and once they unlocked the doors RIGHT at 10am, we were ready and seated immediately. The vibe is so cool. Especially for the Nerds!!!🤓 Eddie, our server was on it, every step of the way. I'm particular about my coffee and luckily they had whip cream for my coffee, since no flavored creamer. PERFECT! After coffee, comes the Mimosas in bulk, carafes on deck. Although, my feedback was to not pre-mix champagne & OJ because it's way flat. Like I need that feeling of a soda( much like coke & pizza.) Anywho, well accommodated and the fix was made.
Mmmhhmm, brioche French Toast and hash browns with green onions was solid. My friend said, be ready for the bacon. It's mad crunchy. She didn't finish it but the stack of pancakes and everything else was pretty good.
If you sit outside, sit far from the outside, the flies are fierce😬🤬. But we had enough napkins to guard the b.s. 😂
Parking, soooo easy especially since we had reservations at 10am.
I love the decor, the food was plenty, and a very good experience overall. So go..eat ..and be smart about your breakfast decisions. 🥰
Went in for the first time with some friends. Atmosphere is awesome. School theme with notebooks for menus. Appreciate the scientific posters. The service was good, with expected speed for everything. Food was delicious! Had a burger with fries. Both were good with the special ketchup they provide. Awesome time. Would recommend!
Great food and a really awesome concept - he composition notebook menus are an awesome touch for the “public school vibe.”
Walked in on Saturday Around 12p to find out its so busy you need reservations but fortunately for us there was a bar seat table!
Service was slightly slow, but given the hectic crowd it wasn’t surprising or irritating.
Absolutely enjoyed our time - posted pictures of a bison burger, omelette, and the chicken burger.
Great food.
Only small review in regard to food -Lehigh knocked my experience down to 4 stars - sriracha Ketchup has a slightly funky taste and my table wishes we had regular ketchup, fries are bland and came out cold, and the carrot slaw was misleading.
Other than that - if you’re visiting West Village - made a reservation and enjoy the experience.
Nick is one of the most excellent human beings and service minded individuals I have ever had the pleasure of waiting on me. Zach makes excellent drinks and custom recommendations - these cucumber gimlets were fresh and balanced - the perfect pair to the $7 happy hour caprese Pizza - 10/10

Me & my girlfriends choose a different spot, each month, to meet up and catch up! Public School 214 did NOT disappoint!! First we must say THANK YOU to our amazing waiter Nick!! You made our first experience amazing! Great job!! The food was delicious! The loaded tator tots were AMAZING! The chicken sandwich was DELICIOUS! We also tried the jambalaya as well. The roux could be a little thicker but delicious! The drinks were tasty! I had the velvet crush! YEEESSS! This is a great spot for brunch! Give it a try!!
One of my favorite brunch spots in Uptown. Great service, Amazing food, and great drinks. They handled a busy Mother's day pretty well. A few hiccups but that is expected on one of the busiest days of the year. The flavor and great service made up for it.
What a great theme this restaurant has going on. I came at lunch with a friend and we decided to order a couple drinks and a couple appetisers. Now, the aioli fries were to die for! I thought I had great one in Austin,Tx until I had these ones. Nothing over the top fancy, just awesome in flavour. The devilled eggs were “meh” but that’s okie. They weren’t bad, but I was just expecting a better taste profile. The drinks were nice and I’ll definitely go back. Atmosphere and service were great also!
The food was yummy! The mimosas were delicious. The service was great! We went for brunch and I customized the stuffed french toast (no berries, no pecans). Our visit was last month sometime so our server's name slips my mind but he was great!
Our fourth time coming here since 2016. First time that wasn't brunch. Nick was fantastic hooking us up, and extremely friendly and attentive. We came back later near close for an extraordinary Nutella and choco chip cookie ice cream sandwich, and I was given detailed instructions on prepping it for the wife and I once I made it back to the hotel, in hopes it would plate as close as possible to the dine in experience. Great staff this time just like every other brunch outing. Too bad it's so far from home, but always make a point to visit when we are in north dallas!
