The best Italian food I’ve had outside of Italy!! It was extraordinary!! Service was also great!! A must for anyone visiting Dallas.
Lasagna and chicken alfredo were amazing. Lasagna was the best I've ever eaten. The wait staff was awesome and the kitchen offered to stay open a little later to take out order. And great ambience. Will definitely be back.
Some of the best Pizza I’ve ever ate. I had the Pizza Florentina. My wife had the spaghetti with mushroom sauce. She said it was the best spaghetti she’s ever ate! Service was also great. Highly recommended.
Food was amazing. I had chicken Marsellia it was one of the best I've have. Wonderful bread knots. Excellent service
Hands down, best Italian restaurant in Downtown Dallas. Kristina is an amazing bartender and very easy to talk to. Will continue to keep returning.
We loved it!! The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal!!! Great place to eat all the way around
Loved the Veal Marsalla! Although it did take awhile to get our food it was worth the wait.

Delicious!
Surprising little Italian place. I recommend the Chicken Pizzaiola. Melts in your mouth with wonderful flavor. Tirimasu was delicious. Service treated me, and out of towner, nicely and with respect. They treated their regulars even better. Food was served promptly. Clean. Definitely recommended.
Awesome food! Can't believe anyone would rate it lower than a 5.0. I've eaten at all the Italian places downtown, more than once or twice, there is no comparison. I only go here now and I enjoy many recipes and entrees.
Ummmmmmmmmm☆☆☆☆. Have you seen a Woody Allen movie? Because this is what he's preaching about. First off, Jeff Zinn is the best waiter ever. Happy hour never ended. Second, they were extremely accommodating, I felt like I was at home :). Awesome atmosphere, service, and food!!

Really good Italian food at good prices.
I had the Pizza Siciliana with "thick" crust. Pros - tasty, very spicy. Con - crust was burnt in edges and underwhelming. Cook came out and said it was thicker than other crusts and cooked twice. Wife had Gnocchi al Vodka. Pro - was tasty and gnocchi was fresh. Con - chicken was dry and overlooked. Overall, pretty good and would recommend.

Had the best service from Olga! Everything was delicious and fresh! From the salad, to the bread, pizza, an veal! Delicious!!
With the name, Porta di Roma" which so often is mispronounced but when said correctly, it becomes a very pleasant tone to the eardrum. Still the name alone cannot even begin to define this beautiful, Authentic Italian restaurant. Simply put, in only one sentence I'd say, " Let the Food Speak for Itself!" That's all you need to hear.
Great Italian. My husband and nephew and I visited Porta Di Roma on Saturday evening. It was delicious. We started with Calamari and Salads. I had the Lasagna special. My nephew had the Calzone (best calzone that I've ever tasted). My husband had cheese pizza (I'm not a fan of cheese pizza but it was very tasty). We had drinks from the bar and they were very well prepared. For dessert we had Tiramisu also very tasty. The décor is nice with great views of Main Street.
After reading so many great reviews we had to try it, OH MY GOSH the food was very good, our table of four cleaned their plates! A must! next trip to Dallas I will be dining here again
Very much a dive. But, very tasty.
Great pizza although a little pricey. Wonderful taste and quick service.
Rehersal Dinner. We had our son wedding rehersal at Pora di Roma. The Food , Atmosphere was top notch. Demi the owner and the wait staff were WONDERFUL. Please consider Porta di Roma for your special event or just for your dinner pleasure. This place is AWESOME!
Was good! The house dressing was delicious. I recommend sitting by te windows and people watching.
The best italian place so far that i went to
This is the best Italian restuarant I have been to in Texas! The pizza is authetic and the service is awesome! The owner makes the dishes hisself. It's a must whenever in Downtown Dallas. You won't regret it!
Good food, atmosphere, and service.. I took my family there a couple of months back. We all enjoyed our food and the service was fantastic. Awesome garlic bread! Highly recommended.
Great Attitudes. I had the pleasure of dining at the Porta di Roma while in Dallas the 7th of April. I can't say as I have had much more fun than what I did that night. The waitress was from Romania and I teased her about her accent not being the normal southern brawl. She was a riot after that and she was an excellent server as well. The Manicotti was probably the best I have ever had too! So all in all, I give the food and the service a BIG THUMBS UP! And HIGHLY recommend for anyone even close to the Dallas area to visit and say Howdy!
Our experience was a 5-star one! Good thing we ate here before reading the bad reviews, or we might not have come at all.
From the greeting at entry, to the personal attention the owner gave us, and our server's attitude, we couldn't be happier with the service.
And food? Nothing short of authentic, Italian delicacy. My Veal Saltimbocca and my wife's Shrimp & Scallop Risotto were perfectly balanced in flavor and tenderness. Portions were just right, and prices reasonable.
When in Dallas, definitely give this place a try.
Mama Mia! 🤌🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽
Dined in here last night and the staff was extremely friendly. I’ve actually walked into this place before and walked out because I wasn’t feeling it (yes I know, I was that annoying person). Anywho, this time I gave it a chance and boy did it impress. I did dirty things to the Tortellini alla Vodka and I don’t say this often… but you should too! Next up was the Spisy Pizza (spicy sausage?). Both were so good that I actually took them home with me, left them open on the table, and waited patiently until I could eat the rest.
ONE THING - I will say I ordered a $60 bottle of wine that was supposed to be the nicer of wines… but it was no bueno. So I’d stick to the food. I don’t even think that deserves a star off, that’s how good the food was.
This beautiful pearl is perfect for a good Italian tiramisu or a good sambucca. If you love Italian flair paired with southern luxury, then you need to come in and find out. The prices are moderate compared to the quality. I found a new hot spot for me and my wife in downtown Dallas.... perfect time for you ❤️

I had the most amazing dinner, and the staff is outstanding. The food was amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant. I will definitely be back and will be bringing my business partners.
The pasta was amazing. The sauce had so much flavour and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The cheesecake was recommended and did not disappoint. Highly recommend this place for real authentic Italian dining with great service.
Waitress was tentative but not over baring. Atmosphere was great not a huge place but still big. Food was NOT microwaved or premade excellent had flavor and fresh tasting! Greek salad and Stromboli calzone could have fed 3 people. Definitely get what you paid for!
We stopped by for a drink before a concert and Omar was excellent! He made delicious drinks and made great conversation with us during our visit to Porta di Roma. We will be back for the great service and delicious food! Thanks, Omar!
All our dishes were well presented and well cooked. I loved the flavor and the time it took to get to our table. The server was very polite and very active. Portions are good and the price is really good for the area. Will def recommend it to my co workers and friends....
Wonderful dinner last night. Started off with Caesar salad, then had Tortellini alla vodka as my entree. Had a nice Malbec to pair with my meal. I also left my pricey sunglasses on the table. I called them the next day and they had put them up behind the bar for me to pick up. Great atmosphere, great food, great service and honest as well. I will definitely be back.
I had a great lunch meeting with my colleagues here. Very quiet and homely atmosphere. The staff was extremely friendly. The man behind the bar was so kind and funny. Definitely order the pizza!
