The server Anthony was attentive and came to the table at the appropriate times. He allowed us to ponder over the menu and had great food recommendations. It was four of us and it was a nice atmosphere for good conversation. The restaurant was empty at 11 am on a Saturday. The parking was free. The food was ok. I loved the butter cake...amazing. I had the cream of mushroom soup and it was good despite the fact that I did have to add a bit more salt. Nice restaurant and will go back.

I’m glad we chose Paul Martin’s tonight! I had Fish Taco, Clam Chowder Soup, and it were delicious. My husband loves his Steak, too. Saul’s service was exceptional! We definitely will be back ❤️

The staff make great first impression, they are attentive and quick to respond. The food and atmosphere is great... the food is prepped well, however, it was a little short of expectation. We’d have liked a little less butter and the beef to be a higher quality aged beef.
The New York strip as medium well was great, however, the ribeye cooked similarly was a little tough. If you order the ribeye, since it seems a thinner meat, is to consider medium.
The Brussels sprouts and cauliflower are great, but a little salty and a bit too much butter.
Overall, we’ll definitely return to try the other steaks.

Nice restaurant and very friendly staff. Ordered the salmon tacos and it was really good. Ample parking. Would definitely visit again.

Paul Martin's was the best Restraunt I've been to in a very long time. The food was so amazing, every bite got better and better! The atmosphere was so relaxing and fun and service was wonderful and they were very nice and so knowledgeable in the menu and choices, This to me is the true definition of what a restraunt should be!! Best restraunt EVER!! I would recommend to anyone! #can'twaittogoback💖

Small menu but everything was good. Happy hour goes till 7pm. Wine selection was disappointing with very few international wines.

A fine example of a place always reinventing itself to make sure it meets the needs of consumers taste buds. I have visited Paul Martin’s over the course of it being open the last year and a half, I truly believe they are a fine establishment with excellent choices, customizable, fresh food, free bread to compliment the meal, and excellent service. I think the prices are fair at around 17-25 and they have some great happy hour and bottle of wine specials during the week.

This restaurant is slowly becoming a favorite. The food is amazing nice price point and amazing staff. My food came out a bit later than I think it should have but the chef said it wasn't on par and had to redo. I'm ok w/ that

So happy that this restaurant is in my neighborhood!! The food is always delicious, especially love the tater tots and artichoke!! Drinks are always good too AND they have blue cheese stuffed olives, the good kind that are handstuffed! Friendly and helpful staff too! Love this place. ❤

The food was good, not great! The drink we shared was poured heavy, a plus! The service was lacking, especially for a place with a 150+ bill! The steak while not terrible was only comparable to say chili’s! We had to ask for bread. We never offered a refill of water or tea! The table to our left same server was brought their drinks and bread and order before us, the problem they sat down after us and we had reservations! Don’t know if they have something against men or not but look where you built you establishment! Will never visit again!

A wonderful American grill restaurant. It offers an array of grilled meats and other dishes. The menu does change between lunch and dinner as the heavier and heartier dishes are offered for dinner and don't make an appearance at lunch.

I liked the fit out of the restaurant and the atmosphere created was a modern taken on an American steakhouse. The server was very helpful and polite. Anything I needed to ask he would answer promptly. They promote themselves as fresh seasonal produce all the time and not using frozen ingredients or pre-made sauces or dressings. This is appreciated as so many foods are overly processed now.

I went with the French Dip ('never ever' roast beef, horseradish cream, housemade au jus, fresh baked roll) With Fries. The slices of roast beef were succulent and the jus and horseradish cream were great accompaniments. There were enough fries to feed a small family. They were very tasty and well seasoned. I had a Fresh Housemade Lemonade to drink and it was refreshing and tangy. It was constantly replenished so I was never thirsty.

Definitely give this place a go!

Great food and attentive service. Had the bistro burger which was cooked perfectly. Sandwich bun is house made and fresh. Great dish! Also had a martini from the bar. I like mine very dirty and they made it just how I like. Ask for the seasonal desserts! There is always a great dessert to finish out the meal.

Went with a large group , so gots lots of feedback on the dishes for the main . The pork chop got the best feedback for appetizers we had a mix and I thought the calamari was fresh and cooked just right . The shrimp was good also , but I would not bother with the spinach dip too watery . Service was very good and nicely paced , not always easy with a large group .
Whisk And Tell
Much-above-average California based “chain” restaurant with a Vail Ski lodge atmosphere with a mature-yet-attractive Highland Park clientele noshing on traditional American favorites. Overall, a bit pricey for upscale chain food...

SIGHT: Full capacity restaurant with expansive bar, lounge area, and a variety 2-4-6 top tables in this dark, well-appointed restaurant.

TOUCH: Cozy booths, dark wood tables, exposed elephant gray brick walls, this restaurant fits more in 32 degree weather.

SOUND: CRAZY BUSY. Only open 3 months, this a hot place for the mature crowd. Bar area was a bit “rowdy” with the martini and scotch drinkers.

SMELL: Semi open kitchen but no smells wafting around…

TASTE: Oysters on the Half Shell: Oysters were a bit small, but still tender and delicious. Only 1 was a bit gritty. Tasty champagne mignonette sauce. A bit overpriced for $3.00 per oyster.Kale Caesar Salad- baby kale leaves well dressed topped with briny white anchovies and shards of parmesan cheese. Respectable.
Steak Frites- sans frites since we were cutting back on carbs. Well seasoned hanger steak in a delicious red wine sauce with a generous side of substitute sautéed spinach and fresh arugula on top.
Hoisin Marinated Pork Chop- I was forewarned that this would take 20 minutes to prepare, and it was worth the wait. Double cut, thick and juicy, this pork must have been brined before cooking since it was so moist. Nice charred crust with a light sticky glaze for added flavor. Charred brussel sprouts were a nice side dish although I didn’t taste the warm bacon dressing.
