the menu has great choice which makes it hard to decide what you want. I got the French toast and it was amazing. service was very good and lots of seats so no wait time. felt it was a bit on the expensive side but your full for ages and the food is amazing.
The food was super flavorful. The staff was very kind. Personal recomendation is the Lavender Latte, yo taste the Lavander all the way through. Perfect spot for breakfast
From the moment we arrived, Karina, our server, promptly seated us and took our order. The food arrived quickly and was served warm. I ordered chilaquiles, and the aroma of the various ingredients on my plate was delightful. With the first bite, I was transported back to memories of my mom's cooking. I was so impressed that I had to personally express my gratitude to the chef. The quality of the food was exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend trying their delicious dishes. The experience was beyond my expectations.

I have to give 5 stars for the quality of food and service received each of the four meals I have had at the Overeasy in 3 days while staying at The Statler for a conference. I ordered something off the menu and it turned out great. My three breakfasts included the power breakfast, spinach omelette, and breakfast tacos. The chopped cobb with shrimp and sweet potato fries was my favorite meal during my time there.
The wait was a bit longer than I would have liked but it ended up being worth it. The food was delicious and the portions were ginormous! I would go back here in a heartbeat. Only disappointment was the pancakes were not available for my kid who had his heart set on pancakes.
Upmarket American diner in the lobby of The Statler hotel.
Serves breakfast 6 to 3 and overlaps lunch 11 to 6
Nice views of the square from the comfortable 4-6 person booths by the window
First time here, and ordered the chilaquiles and it was Bussin!! Perfect combinations of flavors and textures. I highly recommend, if you are ever in the area. FYI you do need a reservation if you want a booth.
Got chicken fried steak and eggs and I thought it was phenomenal. Very crispy, lots of flavor. I added the hot sauce myself. Service was just fine. I’d say I give it a 4.5 because it’s a bit pricey, but it is also in the Statler Hotel so that is expected.
Such a good place. We were a big group having an event at the church so we were trying to get some food before but with limited time and rushing. The Manager was very helpful supporting the coffe shop to get our drinks faster. Then she jump to the kitchen to help staff to run our food to finally walking back with clean glasses to refill the coffe shop again. You can see Her energy and commitment with the restaurant througth her staff also, our server was very attentive. I work in the industry and I want to recognize her hard job after seeing her from one side to the other, not only managing but also helping her team. Thanks Amanda we will definitely come back
This place usually never disappoints on it's breakfast and brunch options. Also the food is flavorful and they offer different varieties for everyone. It is attached/inside a hotel so it is a decent amount of traffic inside. The service was just ok the last couple times I've went, however the food is so good I ignore it.
Nice breakfast spot on the bottom of hotel. Has a separate coffee cashier that you can pickup coffee Togo at. Place was busy but had a 15-20 min wait for party of three. Service was good. Coffee was good. Had mimosas with breakfast. Service was good. We stayed nearby so was quick scoot to the breakfast spot. Worth visiting.
Amazing breakfast food. I ordered the Texas State Ranchhand and it was probably the best thing I've had for breakfast. The brisket was perfectly cooked! Highly recommended if you're super hungry
So we walked to this place from our hotel, The Thompson, and there was a wait, but the hotel was really nice and had multiple seating areas. We were able to get a breakfast cocktail from the bar while we waited. Once seated our hostess and waitress were very nice and friendly. The atmosphere was very comfortable and bubbly. The food was really good also. I had breakfast tacos and my husband had pancakes with egg whites 😋. Whenever we decide to go back to Dallas, we will most definitely be back to Overeasy!
This place is really nice. We had minimal wait time on a Saturday at brunch time. The food was really good! The coffee was delicious as well.
Nice food and service with a casual atmosphere. I enjoyed their mushroom omelets with a healthy dose of hot sauce and pepper. Parking is a mess downtown, but places like this make the trek worthwhile.
Located on the 1st floor of the Statler Hotel. You can enter the restaurant from the Statler Hotel Lobby or from the side entrance off of St. Paul Street.
We went on a Sunday around noon. The wait was less than 15 minutes. I ordered the Living Easy plate, which comes with 2 eggs, potatoes, toast and sausage or bacon. Everything was good. The only thing that I would change would be the bacon. I prefer crispier bacon. The bacon still had a great taste. My husband ordered the Biscuit and Gravy plate, he said it was fine. I tasted his food and I enjoyed it.
The restaurant is clean and has a great vibe. I like the big windows and light colored decor.
Overall great place.
Immensely enjoyed the aesthetic of this place. The brushed gold and marble combined with a low white light is just *chef's kiss* We came for lunch but I would love to come for an early morning breakfast looking over the corner with a hot cup of coffee. Food was good, not great. Our server Destinee was charming and courteous. Great spot! Good vibes.
