Burgers and onion rings were great. This place was recommended by a local in the area and it did not disappoint.

I thought I knew where all of the great burger places were in Dallas but today I found one more. I ordered a cheeseburger with bacon. The bacon was cooked superbly crisp, but not burnt. The fries were cooked to order crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I ordered the veggies on the side and the burger with mustard, ketchup, mayo everything came just the way I ordered it. The housemaid root beer is exceptional. I highly recommend you check out this burger place they do have other choices like patty melts and ham and cheese. I’ll try some of those in the future could’ve eaten outside under the awning but tonight I ordered the food for Takeaway to bring home. Please take the time to drive into a little different part of Dallas and experience a super good burger.

The food was much better than expected and we enjoyed our time. The hamburgers do not look special at all, but they are very well executed and are very tasty!

I’ve been a customer since 1963 A throwback to the 1950’s drive in burger joint with car hops. It remains unchanged and eating great food in your car is a must experience. Try the homemade root beer. Bryan Adams HS and Bishop Lynch alumni know it well.

Old Fashion Hamburger Joint, I got a Bacon Cheeseburger Burger and Fries. Pull up, car hop waiter comes out and takes your order. Didn’t take long for the food to arrive with polite friendly service. The Burger had good flavor and one of the best bacon patty I have ever had, every bite of burger had bacon and cheese. The fries were delicious old school straight cut, no heavy grease flavor, crispy and a good portion. Next time I want to indulge with something sweet I may come get a Float, haven’t had a good float in a while.

Ordered a cheese burger, fries and large drink. The burger was very good. The fries could have been cooked a little longer but, it did not stop me from finishing them. The car hop was very friendly and the food came out quickly. I've been wanting to try this place for awhile and it did not disappoint. This is an old school burger joint that knows how to make burgers.

Hey everyone wanna let you know about a little lunch spot that I went to today Dairy,-Ette and it’s basically at the corner of Oates Drive and Ferguson Road, Across the street from Bishop Lynch high school. This place is very old-school very basic they’re known for their burgers and their root beer. I personally have been coming here since the mid-70s and this place was well-established before then they’ve got an awning out front with 10 spaces that if you pull under that you can get car hop service. You can also park on the one side of the building and go in order your food bring it back to your vehicle. It’s basic, it’s simple and it’s good. today I just got a cheeseburger which was like 475 nice grilled meat patty diced onions shredded lettuce tomato pickles mustard and a slice of gooey American cheese. Once I ordered the burger was out in about six minutes I didn’t get the root beer today but if you’re a root beer fan they have some extremely good root beer and they used to bring it out in a nice icy- frosty mug. As you can see by the pictures the burger may not be the most beautiful burger you’ve ever seen they don’t try to trick it up with a lot of sauces and fried jalapeños or Crazy condiments or different sauces, you know things like that, which there’s nothing wrong with that but if you’re just in the mood for a solid basic burger a good burger you can see from the pictures this is the one and it needed no salt or pepper it was extremely good and fresh and it’s a full-size burger they’re not scaling down to make smaller burgers like some places are. Show my opinion any place that’s been there for 50+ years and hasn’t changed that much and still making it is worth the trip over there so if you’re over in East Dallas around lunchtime or dinner time pull in to Dairy-ette and give it a try you’ll love it you’ll be a fan and you’ll come back. Be safe out there!

Always great food and speedy service. All employees are very professional and super friendly! It's no wonder this place has been in business for long. A truly delicious place to eat and a iconic staple. Try it once and you'll understand.

First time here 2-25-23.. saw review on Instagram Me and the daughter had our date night and tookl a drive here from irving. We did the car hop experience, because the inside was just too small, and both young ladies that attended is were friendly. Both got a bacon cheeseburger, fries, with sweet tea and a lemonade. Everything tasted wonderful, the smell of the food was great, the taste was even better. She tried the fried and said, "these are homemade, you can taste it". Definitely worth the drive, next time will be a double cheeseburger and onion rings

I had a burger, onion rings and root beer. The burger was excellent for a simple burger, and the onion rings were perfect. I know they are famous for their homemade root beer, but I thought it was just ok. Not really carbonated. Might have been because we were the first customers of the day.

This place is a classic drive up burger joint. It doesn't look like much on the outside but they can do a brisk business due to good basic food, friendly service and a long, long history of doing just that since the 1950s. Go ahead and give them a try and thank me later.

Great, quick service (they come right up to your car). Really enjoyed the cheeseburger. Don't forget to try their house-made root beer. Really good value.
