Food was tasty as homemade. Place has been there since a long time and seemed pretty rundown. But this place has some Healthy food options. It's super crowded during night times. Friendly staff and fast service.
Food was delicious. It looks like a dive but worth it. The caldo marisco was flavorful and the small was an excellent portion. Wait staff was very friendly, quick, and attentive.
This place is a hole in the wall, but it does seafood justice. I'm not the adventurous type when it comes to my first time around at a place, so I went with my tried and true jumbo fried shrimp. They nailed it! We opted to eat inside and as the dinner crowd started to come in, the shack definitely lived up to its name. You can't really hold a conversation with anybody! If you are looking for a casual quick meal, this is your place. The plus side, they have a drive through! So you can easily swing by and place your order to go.
The crab and shrimp stuffed jalapeños rock! Cocktails are great! I have never had anything to complain about off the menu. Great service and great food. Definitely one of my favorites.
Today was our first time at Seafood Shack, someone recommended it to my husband so we decided to go. I wasn't so sure when I saw the place, and then when we saw it was packed and no available tables. But we stayed anyway and I'm really glad we did! The food was delicious! We started with shrimp tostadas, they are pretty big, with big chunks of shrimp and delicious creamy dressing. I ordered fried fish, crispy to perfection with seasoned fries and hush puppies. Really good. My husband had shrimp enchiladas, SO GOOD! Served with delicious white rice. It was a great experience, the food was ready fast and it was delicious. And we'll definitely be coming back.
Found this place by chance and LOVED everything about...worth the 3 hr drive!!!

Ok..the current copy of the Observer is about good, cheap eats and the Seafood Shack isn't a shack...it's a love nest of goodness. The house specialty, Sam's Cajun, is the shizit...it makes you wanna slap somebody. The bacon wrapped Texas pickles (that's jalapeños people) was equally grand. The sweetie and I rate this two thumbs, a leg and smacking lips good.....
Yes, I liked Seafood Shack but I didn't love it. I was hyped into the ceviche but I only thought it was average. My wife had Tilapia and really enjoyed it. I had eaten some homemade civiche earlier in the week from a church lady that rocked way more. I will try something else next time.
I love this place. One of the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants you will come across. Shrimp cocktail is great, fish tacos were tasty, and the service is always good.
Fantastic place. The mexican shrimp coctail is fantastic, and the shrip tostadas are my favorites. The place is a great to go place, but it will take a little while, since the place will cook to order. Now, this is a great place, but it is not a place for a nice romantic dinner; it is, after all, a shack.
LOVE IT!. Love this place - just went with a co-worker who hasnt been and he is hooked as well! Had the seafood cocktel and the cajun fish tacos which were extraordinary as always. Buddy got the shrimp enchiladas and the shrimp stuffed jalapeno poppers. Unlike most restaurants where you may get 4 or 5 shrimp in the "cocktel" mine had tons of delicious shrimp and octupus. Can't recommend it more if you like this kind of food and your in the area - definitely my favorite for this type of cuisine!

Awesome hole in the wall style seafood place! Get the crab stuffed jalapenos- best in DFW! Love that they have michaladas as well. We just found this place randomly and will totally be returning.

I did a to go order and I was very pleased: I got a Fried Basket of 4 Shrimp and 2 filet of Catfish with real fries and hush puppies. Yum.
The food is absolutely incredible. Everything I have ordered is so yummy. My husband and I ordered a shrimp cocktail in Mexico and quickly realized that the ones we get from Seafood Shack are better. I love calling an order ahead and picking it up in the drive-through.
So they have great food, no lie there, if you only speak English, you could struggle at times as they mostly speak Spanish. However they are always friendly and try their best speaking enough English. I have never had a bad meal here, trying all kinds of different things, but the dining area could be better
Had the combo, 2 pieces of fish, 4 jumbo shrimps, 4 oysters, fries and also had the gumbo. It was pretty good, the shrimp was a little over cooked, it was dry. Other than that it was good.
First time here. Great prices. I got the grilled salmon lunch with all veggies and man, so good. Not sure what the red sauce is but it is addictive. Will be coming back to try out $6 Margerita Monday!

The most slept on spot. The seafood soup best bang for your buck. I love the shrimp boil. Great frozen margaritas. Be sure to check out the daily specials on food and drink. Only thing i didn't like was i got the wrong margarita and this location wouldn't refund me. So i was stuck with a drink i didn't want.
If you love deep fried sea food this place is the best in the area has been around for decades,worth trying out if you have cravings for some fried fish,recommend you remember them to put extra sauce in your bag.
As I walked through the front door, the delectable scent of fresh seafood was a good sign that the food here would be a treat. My nose was correct. There's nothing like freshly made, fresh seafood. This place is the real deal.

The fried whole fish looks delicious but I have never had it because the ceviche and shrimp cocktail are SOOOOO good that I can't get myself to order anything else. Never been here when they aren't busy. Everything is fresh and fantastic.
