The food was excellent as was the service. I was a little nervous after seeing the brunch menu was pretty minimal, however they offerings did not disappoint. The chicken for the chicken and waffles was definitely not simply a nugget. You can tell it genuine chicken breast sectioned and fried to perfection. The waffles have a slight funnel cake taste--in the best way possible. The F*** brunch sangria and bloody Mary are some of the best of each drink that I've had. Not only is the taste wonderful, the size of the Mason jars is, well, Texas sized in every since of the word. Parking can be a hassle, but that's the norm in Deep Ellum. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Top notch Bloody Mary! Ask for Nicole (sorry if I misspelled the name) because she's an amazing server. They did offer a brunch buffet but who could pass up on one of these drinks that includes a meal. They do get busy, so arriving early is recommended. I'll definitely be coming back on my next trip to Dallas.

First timer! Went for brunch.. I got the bloody Mary meal! It was pretty good, and i believe worth $20... the food on my body mary was delicious! The ambiance was great! However, our server, not so great. We told her it was our first time, and she did nothing to direct us, or give us suggestions. I'll have to go back again....

Fantastic bar with great selection of beers, and other adult beverages. Great food menu selection too for different dietary needs and preferences. Been a few times and it's always been a pleasure. Nice hangout spot, as well as some seating out front in a patio area. Their servers and bartenders are wonderful too!

Amazing service. We're from out of town and the bartenders told us about the best local swim hole. Definitely going back and recommending to everyone!

Awesome vegan options in a hard rock atmosphere
Friends and I came here twice while visiting Dallas. Their GIANT f brunch cocktails were too fantastic not to tell friends about and their vegan options were tasty and plentiful.
A great place to go after sitting there hungrily watching all the meat eaters at pecan lounge ;)

Nice vegan selections. Vegan pub nachos were great. Excellent salsa and gauc. Will return soon to try the vegan chili.

Open for business!!! We enjoyed lunch and beverages there on Sunday. The biscuits & gravy were delicious, the service was outstanding and of course the epic Bloody Mary's were just that - Epic!

Looking for over the top brunch drinks? This is your place. We bring out of town visitors here for the Wow factor.
Great selection of beers and spirits. The service tends to be a bit hit & miss.

The mimosa is delicious. The drinks could be stronger. Once inside, the atmosphere is great. Only complaint is my breakfast sandwich came with no sausage
Nico
The brunch drinks were a nice touch. Had the burger. Our server was extremely slow but oh well.

Great Bloody Mary! Worth the $22 bucks! Great vibe and cool bartenders! Only got the Bloody Mary but the food looked pretty tasty as well!

This place was pretty chill. Went and hung out before the stars game. The drinks were pretty weak, but the food was good. My favorite thing was the playlist... Lost of alternative/rock/punk from the early 2000's that had me feeling nostalgic!

If you're here for brunch on Saturday or Sunday, get the F**k brunch. It's 1/2 pint of PBR, a huge drink, and food on top for $20. SOOOOOOO good and SOOOOOOO worth it!

Great service and one of the best brunches in Dallas. The bloody mary is unbelievable.

Always a fun time!

Absolutely delicious, and they give you a literal mountain of fries. Service was on the slow side, but they are busy so I won't ding them for it. Also had a fantastic selection of beers which my server helped me choose from. I highly recommend it

Popped in here at happy hour one day. Nice day out. Large venue, big bar presence. Bartenders were nice and friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back to see what the nightlife looks like. Lots to chose from. Interested in the F*ck Brunch drinks for sure.
Everything Glitters In Texas
The Migas and mimosas were pretty great for a Dallas brunch. Add the chorizo to the Migas for more of a kick. All of my friends food was great too! They also have crazy 32 oz mimosas topped with food that I am going to have to try next time. Fun place for sure!

Pretty cool place. Music a bit too loud for conversation, and much smaller than I expected, but in a cool part of downtown, and the food (i.e. pizza) was great. Nice selection of drinks, good specials, good service.
Sean
This place is awful. They treat their customers horribly. If I could give them negative stars I would.

This is my favorite place in Dallas! the Texas sage pizza was amazing, the prices were awesome, and the waitress was a total badass. if I ever live in Dallas, I will be a regular here.

I see why it's called Anvil Pub. I saw the menu and the weight of surprise dropped on me like...an Anvil.

At Anvil Pub, as a beer-drinking vegetarian food seeker, you will not be restricted to order mozzarella cheese sticks and French Fries for once. You will not be saying to the waitstaff "I'd like Buffalo Wings, hold the Wings". Can we just go somewhere to have a beer, eat good beer food, and not feel gross afterwards? Yes we can...finally.

This pub recognizes that beer lovers can be animal and planet lovers too. Its green kitchen vows to abstain from frying to avoid releasing hazardous fumes into the atmosphere. Numerous veggie options from a green kitchen does its part for the environment while keeping our stomachs full.
Want something meat-free to compliment your beer? Yup, there's an app for that. You'll find apps, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas. And there's nothing about this place that's ordinary. They manage to keep the classics with a twist.

After seeing the food options, you'll forget that you're here for beer. Mac n Cheese gently seasoned with curry powder? Raspberry and Jalapeno Pizza? A caesar salad with breaded soy-chicken? Vegan Chili? Bread pudding soaked in bourbon glaze? Anvil Pub, where have you been all my life? I love you - I would take a bullet for you.

No really, I would take a BULLET. You can order a "roulette" pizza with one or more "bullets". That's a pizza with an incognito slice spiked with extra cayenne pepper. And yes, it hurts...are you [wo]man enough?

A generous menu boasting with vegetarian options, outdoor seating, a bar with numerous beers on tap, and a dart board will make this venue "the new hangout of the year".

www.rabbitfoodrocks.blogspot.com

The Chili however…TO. DIE. FOR. I know chili doesn’t look all that appetizing, but it was the perfect portion of thick hearty chili. It had a mixture of beans and faux-meat and just a kick of spiciness.
