I like the location.
The restaurant is good and they have a great wine bar.
The food was nice and fresh.
I liked the salad, it was healthy and fresh but the dressing wasn't enough for me.
Pizza Bolognese was great and delicious
Chicken pizza was good and I liked the White sauce on it.
I think this is the best pizza in Dallas. It is more of a gourmet pizza and is not cheap by a long shot but I think it's worth it. The atmosphere is kind of cool and this place is small so it gets packed really easy.
My favorite appetizer has to be calamari and my favorite pizza is probably the white pizza with Italian sausage.
This isn't a greasy slice in your face with a bunch of guys hanging out talking about sports kind of place. It's uptown in front of the crescent so if you're looking for like a hole in the wall this is not your place but I think the food makes up for it.
The staff is ok but it's always changing from young people to younger people that don't know anything about the menu.
AMAZING WHITE SPECIAL PIZZA! On the days of my takeouts, I have received great service and other times it's been sad! Nice to have designated parking spaces for takeout orders!
Great and tasty meal. Went there on Sunday afternoon for a late lunch early dinner. It wasn't busy, the service and food was good. Ordered a beet salad and their fettuccine shrimp special.

The pizza here is pretty good and a decent price for the size. If you don't want to wait for a table then get there around 6:30pm.
Had the capellini with Italian sausage added and it was delicious! Wait staff was great. Fantastic atmosphere.

To go place for thin crust pizzas! Amazing variety of pizzas. fresh mozzarella sticks are highly recommended.
Jeff was friendly and hospitable as a host! We had Sergio as our server. He was attentive and friendly. The meatball and prosciutto pizzas were fantastic! I love the thin crispy crust. My favorite thing was the creamy pesto pasta special, but we also enjoyed the vodka penne and baked eggplant (with side of rigatoni marinara—which I wish we had swapped out for a different pasta). The calamari was tender and paired well with our bottle of educated guess cab (on special for like $49). All in all, the experience was great! We’ll be back for sure.
Drove all the way from Fort Worth to have the amazing and delicious pizza here! It was the best pizza I’ve ever had! We had the White Pizza with sausage and mushrooms! The service was stunning and very helpful! We had plenty of leftovers and they boxed it for us! Amazing experience and will come back soon!
Everything was perfect! We were a party of 10 people for a friends birthday. The service, food and atmosphere was all amazing! Our waitress and her manager was extremely accommodating when we asked if we could add another table to have a bit more space for everyone. Love this place, will definitely be back.
I always love coal vines and would recommend going and enjoying a lunch or dinner there. I wanted to write a review as I decided to order to go through a delivery service tonight. And it was beyond amazing. The food was fantastic, temperature upon arrival was perfect, and it was just as good as if you were dining in. I also veered away from my normal order a little and everything new I tried was amazing. Highly recommend Coal Vines.
New to Dallas, found this gem. Food was fantastic, not to mention the warm hospitality. Wolff took very good care of us, treated us as if he was the owner of the restaurant… he obviously treats it and its patrons like so. Recommend to everyone and will be our spot to go to.
This was my very first time eating at Coal Vines, but I have to say I will definitely be back! Amazing service! When our server found out we were going to a concert and on a tight schedule, she made sure to get our order in quickly. Also, we had the gluten free pizza and it was the best I've ever had!!
I ordered two large pizzas for a anniversary dinner. It was delicious!
The cheese is nice and milky you can taste the crunch of the bread per bite. The cheese pulls from your bite and it's just incredible.
I ordered pepperoni mushroom and spinach. The ingredients couldn't have been more perfect.

The service was great. It is a good atmosphere to enjoy dinner with friends. There were three of us. We tried the spicy meatball pizza and some wheat pasta. They were great. We enjoyed the atmosphere most. We would go back here on a date. A split bill for three, was less than 20 each, tip included. We try a new restaurant every week. So far the best one we have had these last six weeks. Definitely recommend.
