Dream Cafe is an adorable spot with an expansive patio area that caught my eye. We had the pleasure of sampling both the Country Benedict and the Farmers Omlette. The Omlette was a delightful surprise, accompanied by a side of toast and fresh fruits that complemented it perfectly. Meanwhile, the Benedict arrived with a side of hash browns and a poached egg that added a delightful touch, although I found the fried chicken could use a bit more seasoning to truly hit the spot for my palate. The energizer juice was an absolute treat, offering a rejuvenating and revitalizing experience. Their array of juices and shakes is impressive, and the option to boost your shake with added protein is a fantastic touch. One aspect that stood out to me was the attentive and courteous staff, who went the extra mile to ensure a memorable dining experience. In terms of parking, it's worth noting that validating your ticket is a breeze if you choose to park in the underground garage. A helpful tip for fellow diners: there are two garages, but only one offers ticket validation. To sum it up, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Dream Cafe. Would visit again!!

Walked in and felt very inviting. The waitress Misty was incredibly sweet and on top of everything we needed. To start we ordered beignets, a cappuccino and a latte. For main brunch we ate the Country Benedict and avocado toast. The Country Benedict was surprisingly fantastic. The eggs were poached to perfection surrounded by perfectly fried chicken. Which was seasoned and so moist. Topped with this hollandaise style gravy. So good. It reminded me of chicken and waffles. Now the only thing i wish i asked was for a crispier home fries. But it was buttery and delicious, almost didnt even need that extra texture of the crispy potatoes, as long as I portioned it correctly. I would come back again. Thank you Misty for food and sightseeing recommendations!

I'm always wary of celebrity strewn walls in an establishment. I find the bigger the publicity the lower the quality of food compared to the restaurant's hey day pre-fame. I must say Dream Cafe lives up to the hype. They keep a neat little list with everyone from Stevie Ray Vaughan to Bono to Kelly Clarkson previously grabbing their tables. This culinarily judgmental New Yorker was pleasantly surprised by the pillowy soft flavorful Hippie blueberry pancake. I was delighted by the crisp buttery biscuit with a soft fluffy interior topped with delicious scrambled eggs , diced sausage, with a healthy dollop of gravy and Cholula hot sauce. It was good to the last bite and even though their style of hash (non crispy and shredded potato) is my least favorite variety, it was hard not to polish off the plate with a dosing of that gravy and hot sauce. After a slight misstep (the first set of hippie pancakes were raw at the center with uncooked batter visible once I reached it) the second set of pancakes were perfectly done and even more delicious than my initial bites of the first. Up beat music from flossing gently from the speakers spanning the past five decades, with a perfect amount of sunshine, and the gentle rumbling of the McKinney Street car were the perfect backdrop to a great meal. The price was right too–my entire meal came in at $24 including tax (not tip).

We are out of towners and really enjoyed this beautiful and inclusive restaurant! The website mentions a parking garage on the corner of two streets, but there were two parking garages on this corner. We called the restaurant and our new bestie came out to make sure we were in the right spot! We both got the strap hanger meal and it came with very yummy strawberry butter. I am not a gluten eater but I had to try the butter! It was worth it. Overall, kind and attentive service.

This is my wife’s favorite brunch spot. The atmosphere is bright and vibrant and has indoor and outdoor seating. My wife’s chicken and waffles were way better than by biscuit sandwich. I was eyeing her plate the whole time to see if she was going to finish it all. She did. Also the cinnamon roll was good! Sweet and buttery! Way better than any pancakes! They offer some nice drinks like the Bloody Mary. We will be visiting again.

I recently moved to Uptown and live around the corner from the Dream Cafe. I decided to give breakfast a try. Let me start of by saying, I absolutely love the vibe and the esthetic of the cafe. It’s beautiful and so chill. I had a Popover, Cloud pancakes with ricotta and a side of hash browns. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was warm and inviting. I will definitely be back and look forward to trying other dishes!

Great place for breakfast or brunch. I’ve dined in and ordered Uber Eats and enjoyed my food both times. I ordered British steak and eggs as well as a mimosa when dining in. The food came pretty fast and my steak had pretty good flavor. I would definitely go back.

My husband and I stopped in for the first time today and loved it. Huge menu, but he got the Elvis and I got the Cloud pancakes. Both were delicious! Our coffee cups were never left to be even half emptied. Great service and generous, delicious portions. We found our new breakfast spot!

Stopped in on our way back to Houston. Amazing experience overall! Food was delicious. I had the salmon tacos and my family had the French toast with fresh fruit. They stated it was great as well. The ambiance was quaint and cozy and the customer service was on point. Definitely a great spot if you’re in the area!

I went here for a small breakfast brunch for my birthday weekend as an alternative due to a long wait time of a near by restaurant. And I’m happy to say I was pleasantly surprised and the customer service was awesome. The manager was very accommodating due to an issue with a sub on the menu. The food was great. I ordered the chicken and waffles and it was delicious! Warm syrup was served n the waffle was cooked perfectly!! Also ordered a strawberry Hennessy which the bartender was very willing to make even though she hadn’t made it before! 😊 and it was good! Will be returning very soon!

My wife and I decided to stop here on Sunday for brunch and we absolutely loved it. Despite being very busy, we were able to be seated quickly. The food is excellent and the service is great even during peak times. I would order The Elvis if you are looking for something to satisfy a big appetite. Everything is reasonably priced and it’s all around a great place for brunch!

I took my mom here for Mother's Day brunch and we were not disappointed. The French toast was light, the eggs scrambled well and the Monte Cristo was great according to my mother. Although it was a busy day, we were seated promptly and service was quick and attentive. We had a great overall experience!

Elvis was delicious! Not sure what they put in that gravy but it’s divine. Biscuits were amazing as well. My husband had the country fried chicken steak and loved his meal as well. Service was great and vibe was amazing.
