Great breakfast and great service. CASH ONLY….they have quite a selection and daily specials board. Atmosphere was inviting. They have Omelettes and burritos and tacos 🌮 and so much more…I had the 3 egg veggie omelette with hash browns and toast and my kiddo had scrambled eggs ham and pancakes!! We both enjoyed coffee ☕️. Definitely worth a stop in when your in the area!!
Just had the most delightful experience at this cozy Dallas cafe! 👌 Navy, the owner, and her staff provide top-notch customer service, and the food is mouthwateringly delicious - from steak to chilaquiles, and don't forget the must-try pancakes! Don't forget to bring cash because this gem is cash-only! 💵💰 But trust me, it's worth every penny for the amazing experience and food! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Awesome little diner in Dallas. It feels like a Chicago, Texas, Mexico diner mix all in one. The decor inside is odd, but feels really cozy.
The food here is simple, and with the simplicity comes great prices. Everywhere in Dallas seems like they are trying to re-invent the wheel with their menus and you pay for it, but here you will find a simple, delicious meal.

Service is beyond friendly, super quick at seating & getting your food out. They remember your orders AND names! Truly a great place. It is cash only so make sure to stop at ATM.

I ordered the chop steak and eggs. I picked the wheat toast and grits. The plate came with 3 large eggs and the steak was a decent size too.
The chop steak appeared to be one of those pre portioned/packaged patties. It wasn't seasoned much but I added grilled onions which I don't think added a charge. I also mixed cholula, A1 and the grilled onions together then put them back on top. I was surprised by large eggs and 3 at that. The grits were about perfect in consistency but for the least expensive item, could have been a bit larger portion. The toast wasn't a yeasty, cheap bread and thick sliced.
Overall, I enjoyed everything ordered. I was happily surprised by the **post covid and recession proof pricing**. The owners/managers seemed attentive and friendly.
Definitely recommend.

It's cash only. Missed that part so they graciously allowed us to go get cash and come pay our tab. I felt really bad about that.
The food was simple but good. Staff and customers know each other very well that I observed. I worked in this area for years and never visited before I definitely wish I had eaten here years ago. Thank you for the great service and food.
This place is the best value in Dallas for breakfast. Sad that so many of the previous review mention they were unaware it was cash only. There is a sign on the door that say 'Cash only'. No matter how many signs you put out, people will never see it.

There's a reason my family has been going here literally my whole life. The owners are such wonderful people. They care for their employees so much so that it really shows in their food. The food is SOOOO good. I will gladly join my family for lunch here any chance I get. I recommend this place to everyone.
This was my first time trying this hidden breakfast and lunch get. They have limited hours so I had been by before but a yard in today. I was very impressed by the menu options and I ended up going with the migas. It was great and spicy. The homemade salsa they had with it was also tremendous. I will def have to go back sometime. Just make sure you have cash because they are cash only!!
Omg. I could say 0 bad things about this place always wake in there and sit with regulars. Been a handful of times now. Great servers, great food, love choosing from the menu and daily specials. And just a overall beautiful environment.

1st time trying this place. Service was great. Food was ok. Small diner (maximum capacity is 49)..and small bathroom (s) (1 stall per room). Parking was TOUGH during the lunch hour. I had the Chicken tortilla soup and a side of fries (fries were a little cold soup was fine). My mom had the Jalepeno Burger with fries (burger was fine, see above for fries). Overall it was ok.
This place is cash only just so you know before going!! Now that there's that out of the way...you should go here, you really should. Why you ask? Because it's like a step back into 1988 when life was easy like the interior of this place. Cozy little space with booths and a real diner style bar. The waitress was the best ever and didn't make me feel rushed although I only got takeout. Scrambled eggs were delicious and none of that out of the can junk. Toast was cooked just right and the grits made you wanna slap yo mama. I highly recommend as I will be going back again. They do have lunch as well but I believe they close about 2.30 pm so get there for breakfast or lunchtime!!
Small town feel. Very friendly service, reasonable prices and good food. Perfect spot to eat solo at counter and read. Mexican food a specialty. They get their chorizo and tortillas fresh from local businesses. CASH ONLY.
