Hate the new service set up. I waited in line for ten minutes and then waited for a chicken Caesar for fifteen minutes. You used to be able to get your food quickly in the service line. This change is definitely a time waster.
A favorite when I am in Dallas. Every time I come home from college, mom and I get lunch together here. Low fat tomato basil soup- my No.1 favorite soup dish. Add some Cesar salad and candied strawberries and I'm happy. Great for families, business luncheons, or breakfast date.
I was surprised to read the other reviews & see how negative they were. My husban & I & our friend ate here for breakfast on a Saturday morning & we had a wonderful experience! Very tasty food. Loved the croissant! It certainly wasn't a quiet corner cafe, but the noise wasn't anything I would complain about.
food’s a solid 4, think flavor fireworks! But service? More like a slow waltz. Great for chill vibes, not so much if you’re racing against time. Cozy spot btw

Such a great place for breakfast lunch and dinner! I tend to come here for breakfast because they have great coffee and breakfast options. The staff is super kind and great about keeping things clean and looking good. The avocado toast is amazing and priced very reasonably compared to other restaurants. Huge open eating area, outside patio, and even a working fireplace! If you are a desert fan they have a great variety of cakes!
Really great food this time here. Been here several times and pretty consistent delivering tasty food and a nice quite experience. Was busy today with all the shoppers out but they delivered and food and experience was fantastic.
Five star because the manager was very professional great customer service. On the other hand this trash needs an attitude adjustment, her customer service is horrible and she has a nasty attitude after I said excuse me three times and she ignored me. Somebody needs to teach these immigrants about respect, this is not Mexico
It’s my first time being at this restaurant. The salad was not my favorite but the potato soup was delicious. The customer service, location and decoration was perfect
So sad to see how far this place has fallen.
Just visited again on May 27 2023. I have zero complaints, which if you’ve read any of my reviews, is rare. The Caesar was good, croque monsieur was perfect. Service was even good. Ok, maybe they figured a few things out, I hope. The manager Robert seems personae and adept.
Bland Caesar salad with bland chicken. So called French onion soup that tasted like it came from a can with a teensy crouton and a pinch of cheese. Was barely warm. Servers were curt at best. This was once a meeting place for a diversely crowd who would share a table with strangers. This place is now like eating in the cafe at sams.
Love this place for light lunches. Delicious.
La Madeleine is one of our go-to casual restaurants. The food is always delicious and the coffee is good. Free bread, butter, and jelly is a nice touch. I recommend the turkey bistro sandwich.
Pastries are wonderful!
It was a lovely surprise to find the Sacher Torte. It was a big hit at our pre-wedding dinner.
This is rustic French - hearty soups that feed the soul
If you can catch a table fireside and take in the ambiance, you’re in for the full La Madeline experience
Overall a nice place to eat. We got a table outside, which was nice since the weather was good. I got a sampler and the Caesar salad dressing was a bit thinner, and less abundant than I would have liked. The chicken salad was good, but the potato soup was good, but a bit lacking. The potato had been made into fine pieces not chunks and also a bit more runny than I would have preferred. The bread and jam were very tasty.
Love this location.. Food is delicious and perfectly prepared, staff is friendly, service is fast and the restaurant is always immaculately clean. A great choice for breakfast or brunch and mimosas in the area.
Went here a few times during my undergrad for coffee and salad (separately, of course) and it was always satisfying. I had a caesar salad that was good and their lattes are nice. Definitely on the sweeter side but I love their "for here" cups. It's like Starbucks and Panera had a kid.
Customer service had been consistently satisfactory, but that was a couple of years ago.
I think I only ever tried their mocha latte.
