Great little hole in the wall taco place for brunch. The atmosphere is very welcoming with ample sitting indoors and outdoors. As their name indicates, you can enjoy wine with your tacos. We opted for a bottle of brut with a choice of various fruit juices for a make your own mimosa. Will definitely be coming back
Steven, our server and also the manager, was the kindest and most attentive throughout our dinner! He was knowledgeable about the wine options and had wonderful food suggestions. The highlight dishes and drink was the strawberry/watermelon wine (frozen), the DDT taco, spicy tamale bites, chicken rings, and the chorizoqueso taco. The patio was lovely (especially since the weather was perfect). They really provide excellent quality food and relaxing vibes! Can’t wait to go back!
My experience here from the food, music, vibe, staff, you name it, it worked and was great! Went here for brunch and it did not disappoint. The drinks were mixed well and the food was very flavorful and enough, although I wish the appetizer (tamale bites) were just 2 more because it was that good. I love being surrounded by wine and vinyl on a sunny day just relaxing. Would totally recommend this place for brunch although I imagine it can become busy so plan ahead especially if you’re bringing a party larger than 3/4.
Fantastic! Does what it says on the tin - great tacos and wine deal.
The menu has classics and specialty tacos but my goodness the tuna tartare and shrimp ceviche were showstoppers! Wish I was local to come back again and again
Tacos were EXCELLENT. Pricing is a little up there, but given the area it’s expected. I always feel uneasy when tacos aren’t brought out in what I would consider normal plating, but luckily these were very good.
The quesidillas are top notch. This restaurant is located in the Bishop Arts area. The restaurant looks like a vintage home that was repurposed as a restaurant! Super popular (as least when we went). They offer a selection of tacos and wines (hence the name) and the food is delicious.
We also tried some of the most popular tacos and they were all well-flavored and tasty. I'd still stay the quesidillas are a must-try. This is definitely a restaurant I'd love to visit again in the future.
Excellent vibes, (the back patio is awesome) great selection of drinks and wine cocktails!
Tacos weren’t my favorite, but I would definitely return to try other things!
Preston is one of the best bartenders ever. Service was impeccable. The owner even came to talk to us about our experience. Food was top notch as well. Can't wait to come back next week. 10 out of 10 recommend.
Been wanting to come here for a while and it did not disappoint. Loved the space immediately, just a fun vibe and perfectly fits the place. The wine list is awesome, we often go to the holly in Fort Worth for natural wines and this is the first time outside of going there that I’ve found a wine list I was really excited about-awesome selection with a little bit of everything, well priced and a lot of offerings by the glass. Love their 6 tacos and a bottle of wine deal-great idea. The tamale bites were maybe my favorite bite. They were crispy like fried, so not soft and steamed like a Tamal (so the name is a little misleading, more like crispy stuffed masa bites) but delicious nonetheless, would come again for those alone, I was tempted to get a second order. The jalapeño artichoke dip was also really good. The little bit of heat from the peppers was a nice balance to what’s normally a rich and dense appetizer.
The tacos were good. Not the best I’ve ever had but all tasty….they had a lot of fun options, menu was playful and I really liked that you could mix and match, not everywhere let’s you do that (for their 3 tacos for $12 selection). The choriqueso taco was our favorite, the tempura fried shrimp taco was our second favorite. None of the tacos were bad, but those were the favs of the day. The churro bites for dessert were also good! It was a bit chilly that day so we sat at the bar but the patio looked nice!
Definitely will be back
Love this place! Great food, great drinks, and great vibes!
Everyone should try the jalapeño artichoke dip! It's super creamy with just the right amount of spice, and the homemade chips are yummy.
The tacos are amazing and you can't go wrong with any of the choices. The Double Decker (D.D.T.) and Blackened Baja are personal favorites.
My friend & I stopped by just ten minutes before closing to see if the kitchen was still open. Steven & the other bartender (so sorry I didn’t get your name!!) were sooo kind and told us to hang out. Took our order, got us waters, and generally made the vibes incredibly comfortable.
We had the best, most delicious tacos & an artichoke dip that satisfied our hungry souls and left around 10:15. They were so chill about our late appearance and truly made us feel like regulars & friends despite not knowing us. Y’all have earned my loyalty!! I promise to show up earlier than close next time💗
Great service, great place, great music. Chairs a little wobbly, guess it just adds to the excitement. The food was better than I would have predicted. Definitely wish they had sides with their food and a bigger bean and cheese taco. Wishful thinking, I suppose.
Amazing tacos and vibes! The new hip spot in bishop arts.
The ahi tuna and cochinota pibil were excellent.
$40 for 6 tacos and a bottle of wine (decent bottle as well) - great for date night!
Steven, our host, was excellent - top notch hospitality. We will be back!
Love this small little restaurant! The people were so nice, the tacos were delicious, and I got a 50% discount on Monday for being in the service industry. Definitely try this! I got the chicken tinga + barbacoa love!
Every time I come here I have excellent food and wine.
If you are looking for an affordable taco place and some amazing wine in the Bishops Arts area give this place a try!
They also serve up an amazing brunch on weekends!
I love it here! The decorations, our honest server and the food, everything was amazing. We tried a few things and my favorite appetizer was the avocado toastadas $7.95, definitely a must try!Least favorite were those "tamale" bites, the salsa verde is amazing and the flavor is okay but the texture was like an over cooked muffin on the exterior but visibly undercooked on the interior. The tacos are delicious and filling, I even got a side of caramelized onions (since I love them) to top off my tacos and it was a perfect combination. I did not try any of the wine this time but I will be back to try it.
My only minor issues are that inside there was only a small two top table, and since we were a group of 4 and it was cold outside, our only option was to sit on a high top table and I personally do not like them, so if you do not like to sit up high or can not due to injury or handicap, come on a nicer day to sit outside or in a smaller group until there are some low tables. Also, there were no hooks under the tables for purses/bags, luckily we were by the wine wall so I used an empty rod on the wall. All super minor and do not factor into the great experience but just some good to know things.
This place is amazing! Excellent wine selection and the tacos are so damn good especially the barbacoa. The patio out back is perfect, breezy, open and so much fun to hang out at.
Amazing vibe and good food 🤩❤️! Their wine and taco combo is great so are their tamale bites 😋!
Note to Management- there were a lot of mosquitoes in the outdoor area. Experience would be better if treated.
What can I say... Oh only that this place is AMAZING!!!! Best tacos ever!!! The vibe, atmosphere, and staff are just wonderful. I definitely found my new taco spot. I mean who can beat 6 delicious tacos and a bottle of wine for $40.00 bucks.... Great place for date night or a chill hang out spot for friends.
