Amazing Korean BBQ, better than Omi and they have cold noodle and bibmbop full bowl that comes with the meal. The older Korean person that works there is very nice and very kind, and the staffs there especially the waitress. Went on Friday 12/1/2023 and now today Tuesday 12/5/2023 another time with my wife. Very delicious. You all reading this need to come and try.
Can’t believe I’m just discovering this spot now. Tell all your friends and their mommas to come here. I visited Saturday lunch for the All You Can Eat KBBQ (it’s on the second floor of the restaurant FYI!), and there was no wait for 2 people around that 1:30 PM time. I was impressed by the quality and selection of the meats. And for $32.95 (weekday evening and weekend pricing)? That’s a steal.
I ordered beef brisket, pork belly, and beef short ribs. The beef brisket was the perfect amount of fatty/lean ratio, and I absolutely loved the marinade and quality of the beef short ribs. The pork belly was on the leaner side, so it felt dry compared to the other cuts of meat I tried. Each portion of meat ordered was large, so I would suggest coming here with 2+ people to try more variety of meat. I didn’t have the stomach space to try any of the meats available at the “buffet” line, but I’d be curious to try their beef rib eye or octopus. I enjoyed the attentive service, the wonderful banchan, and the sauce bar as well.
WOW!!!!! I had a Korean friend of mine take me here to show me real authentic Korean food, and I am blown away! To be honest, I can't even remember the names of the dishes so I will refrain from embarrassing myself, so I will let my pictures speak for themselves. EVERYTHING was delicious. Do yourself a favor and give this place a shot!
The food here is Delicious! The portions are really generous and the staff are really nice. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting town, you won’t regret it
Sura is such a hidden gem! Located in Old K-Town, I found out about this place through a Korean foodie. They offer Korean BBQ upstairs, but I’ve only gone for their Korean entree menu. The value of the food here is generous and exceptional, offering delicious and authentic Korean cuisine at affordable prices. The side dishes are also so good and aesthetic! But what truly sets this place apart is the great service they provide. The Korean aunties are always so attentive and helpful when I’m there. Whether you're dining solo or with a big party, the staff ensures that you have a good time. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a fantastic Korean dining experience. You can’t go wrong with the Korean Pancake and Dinner combos (bulgogi).
We usually go upstairs to have their AYCE Korean BBQ, first time eating downstairs at the restaurant. Went during lunch, great selection. They also give the small side dishes. Had the short ribs and fried rice. It was great! Will go back and try other dishes. Get there early, they were busy closer to lunch time.
The food and experience was great. Loved the various meats and sides. It was fun to have the food cooked in front of us at the table and learn about the food. Was cooked to each person’s preference (medium rare vs well done). We appreciated the suggestions on what to try and which sauces/sides went well with each meat. We will be back with more family and friends!
I'm a big fan of Korean food, I've tried probably a dozen places in the Carrollton area. This one for me is probably below the average dine in, decent for the all you can eat bbq. The food is pretty good, I've had better in terms of the soups. The sizzle plates are probably a little better than average. The main concern is the price. These dishes are north of $20 each. You do get plenty of the sides, but I can get Gen Korea all you can eat for 30, and that's way better experience. There's other places nearby that are more reasonable and are just as good food wise. I wouldn't go back to order off the menu.
First time here. We ate upstairs. The server made the experience. Interact with the staff and you have an even better time. She helped me cut up the meat and refilled our drinks without us having to ask. We sat there and talked and are for 3hours and it didn't seem it. The waitress brought out other meats not on the selection for us to try. The short ribs and pork belly. Then she even helped me make different selection of how to eat the pork belly. Mixing in sauces and pickled slice radishes. Great time with friends. Not to bad priced for all the food we ate.
My favorite is the doenjang jiggae! My girlfriend lived in South Korea for 7 adult years and she agrees it’s the best doenjang jiggae and also kimchi jiggae she’s had in Texas. Galbi and bulgogi are safe bets for first time Korean foodies and we love the rotating banchan (side dishes that accompany the meal). Must visit!
Loved every moment of this! So much food and the owner and servers were extremely friendly. My family had never tried Korean BBQ before, but this was the best first experience. We'll be back again!
This was the most fun I have had at a restaurant in a long time. The owner was incredible and cooked our meats to perfection. The flavor of all the meat was outstanding. The appetizers were wonderful. Our waitress was helpful and professional. Can’t wait to go back.
This is a great Korean restaurant, the staff is friendly, food is amazing!
The only place I could find with 매운 갈비찜
(Maeun Galbi-Jjim). Excellent dish if you like spicy soup with short rib beef.
The first floor is for Korean meals and the second floor is for KBBQ. I went to the second floor and the price for BBQ was 32 dollars on weekends. It is a good price but the server was not serious about serving and the pork shoulders were frozen ones that I do not like.
Wonderful services! My American friend and her son loved the Galbi ! They say, will be back with oter friends !
Food was amazing!! The owner was so nice and recommended great dishes and cooked them for us too. Our waitress was super nice too- service was amazing overall. Best Korean bbq I’ve had. Fried dumplings and short rib were my personal favs. Definitely coming back around Christmas with the whole family.
The seafood pan cake was great, the dumping soup tasted very good.
A lot of the side dishs. Love it. But the price I think is a little high, but it work it. Will go back.
