Great food and great service. We were a group that was a bit off the wall and our waiter not only rolled with it but laughed with us. The bone in broth beef pho was so incredibly good. Probably the best pho I've had in Dallas.
I came into town from San Diego for a conference and stumbled upon this gem!!! The food was superb! The service was "make you feel like family" 5 star!!! The owner, Long, is caring and really pays attention to detail! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the downtown Dallas area!! Give some love to Justin the bartender and Hiep!!!
Love this place! Simple choices but tasty and elegant presentation for an informal place. Lunch time and happy hour are both great times to go!!!
Very good for a Pho fix when you're downtown, and their fried egg rolls are excellent.
Their servers are always friendly and attentive, I love this place.
My favorite spot for pho in Dallas. Service was great and they have a few other options if you're eating vegetarian. Get the cucumber limeade! So refreshing!
I absolutely love the Pho here. I stop in from time to time for lunch. The rice is just as equally amazing. Liked it when it was Pho Colonial and love the new Sapa House vibe. I sat at the bar with colleagues during the lunch rush and was well taken care of by the bar tender. This is the only place to get my Pho fix.
We came in during a Saturday mid-afternoon when downtown Dallas is dead slow and had great service and awesome food. Try the coriander crusted seared ahi tuna for sure and the broth on the beef pho is to die for! Love this place.
The food was fresh and the location was great, I recommend it to anyone.
Awesome food at competitive prices! I recommend the Tofu Pad Thai. It was excellent!
The atmosphere and service was phenomenal. The staff was friendly and the place had a very relaxing vibe for being downtown.
The food was good, but nothing that blew me away. The portions were decent, and the prices were reasonable.
Given that it's Dallas, I would go somewhere else for Thai food before coming back here.
Hidden gem! Good portions and great prices for the amount of food! The coconut curry was fabulous! Shrimp and avocado egg rolls were yummy đ
The server was attentive & helpful!
I will definitely return.
Quick lunch trip for a Banh Mi and appetizers. Service was a little slow due to their only being one server/bartender but the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was tasty.
Was about to give 4 stars, but they cheerfully corrected an issue. I am always looking for the deal, but for the price, the servings are hearty and tasty. One drawback, watch your step on the way in as there's a hidden ramp in the flooring. Definitly will return when I take my next tour to Dealy Plaza!
We were so hungry we forgot to take a picture before eating. The food here was really good and the price was reasonable. We had a large beef pho and it was a good portion. It also had a lot of beef in it. It however did not have meatballs like it says on the menu. We also had the beef banh mi. It was alright. I wish I tried the chicken one. The beef one had teriyaki sauce or something on it and was really sweet. It was still good. Our service was really fast and good also. Overall I really liked this place and would go back!
Quick dinner date with my boyfriend last night.
Service was great, it wasnât a particular server- it was all hands on deck with different people running drinks, food, refilling water, etc. Everyone was friendly and attentive at all times.
We shared chicken skewers and chicken spring rolls. My boyfriend got steamed chicken pho and I got beef pho.
1. Chicken skewers were great!
2. Chicken spring rolls werenât so great, they were cut in half so practically fell apart when we picked them up to eat. I didnât really think anything inside had much flavor including the chicken- pretty under seasoned. The peanut sauce was mid.
3. Chicken pho was ok. The âsteamedâ chicken was pretty dry but the broth was good.
4. Beef pho was great! I got a mixed meat and everything was very flavorful and tender. I didnât like that the broth wasnât hot; it was like lukewarm. The portions however, were great! Lots of noodles and protein.
I didnât give it 5 stars because I love spring rolls and these killed it for me. Maybe Iâll try shrimp ones next time. Also because the pho wasnât hot. Overall, we would visit again.
Honestly I don't usually give 5 stars for anything but they seated 10 of us in 15 minutes. Got our orders and got food on the table in another 20. I was darn impressed. Then when they were closing instead of rushing us out they gave us some extra platters in to go boxes and in general were super nice.
This place is wonderful. I got the karaage & hama yuzu (I definitely misspelled those). The hama yuzu was so good! The flavor was unlike anything I've had bc I can't compare it to anything.
The outside of the restaurant doesn't look appealing but the food as well as the staff members are above average. Quite good portion sizes and prices. A great place to eat Vietnamese food. Recommended.
We were roaming around downtown and decided to have lunch at this place. Starting from the service to the food, everything was amazing. They are fast, it took about 7-10 minutes to get our food. We ordered blazing shrimp, beef pho and chicken vermicelli. The portion sizes are good (two people can easily share one large pho), tastes amazing. I absolutely loved the shrimp. Overall it was a great experience.
I visited for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and dined outside along the sidewalk. Great sights and sounds in Downtown Dallas.
I ordered the small pho with grilled chicken. It was very good. The broth was savory, and the chicken was cooked very well. Added some sriracha for heat!
Fantastic quality - the grilled pork is possibly the best I've ever had (rice bowl, banh mi, vermicelli). They are extremely fast and friendly. Top tier casual downtown lunch spot.
I live above Sapa House and itâs always a quick evening out to grab dinner or a quick drink with the regulars. Iâve met some really great people and Carla and Justin are amazing bartenders!! Sapa House definitely feels like home.
Huge portions and a very relaxed atmosphere.
Went for dinner with my brother and happened to catch their happy hour, so definitely made the visit even better. We got some steamed and fried dumplings as an appetizer and they tasted great and came with a sauce that had a nice little kick to it. For my entrée. I had the Thai Basil flat noodles while my brother had a traditional Pad Thai. Both were with chicken.
The flat noodle dish was flavorful and filling. I got spice level medium since I hadnât been to this place before and definitely could use a bit more of a kick so I'd go higher next time.
My brother's Pad Thai was also tasty, at least with the little bit he actually let me try, haha.
I also had one of their happy hour drink specials (screwdriver) which was solid too.
It should also be noted they were crazy fast. I think from time of ordering till food arrived was barely 15 minutes, if that.
In terms of food quality, affordability and loyalty from regulars that patronize the establishment daily, Sapa House puts the rest of the area to shame. In a downtown filled with ârinse and repeatâ concepts completely void of any backbone, Sapa has a unicorn horn. In THIS economy, youâll be hard pressed to pass on their happy hour menu, which slaps way harder than the typical 1 hour half-priced womp womp. But if Lady Luck shines in your favor or you buried a stimulus check then donât be cheap and try one of their classics like the Banh Mi with shaken beef or the Sate Chili Wok chicken. Youâll thank me later.
