I'm not sure about the other foods but if it's ANYTHING like the Medi Burger, I will live at Cafe Izmir. Ive never experienced a burger like this. The pita is fresh, the avocado is ripe and flavorful and the burger is seasonsed to perfection. Do yourself a favor and eat half, save it for later and dive into the fries. The seasoning makes them not last very long especially when their warm and you'll want to eat them all. Each and every time we get food delivered, they are courteous, gracious and kind. The food is always hot and tastes amazing. I have not had the pleasure of dining at the store front but I sure do love when the weather is nice because they open up the windows to the restaurant and it looks so inviting.

Visited during happy hour. The staff were helpful and friendly. I had chicken dinner with rice which was very tasty. The place was about half full. Well located in downtown, only a few blocks from St Paul station so metro accessible! I would fine here again, and the happy hour drinks were half off!

I had the Medi Burger that was quite good. The small complaints we're that our waiters were okay but made a few mistakes with the bills and made some of our group uncomfortable with touching to get attention and getting too close. It's also heard to hear inside.

Really good Mediterranean food! It's not a Greek restaurant so don't look for a gyro. Instead, get the donor wrap or bowl! Delicious flavors and they give you so much meat on one plate. Fair prices and really friendly staff. They have the best pita bread!

Excellent food! Best falafel in Dallas. Fresh vegetables and excellent hummus and babaganoush. Many cocktails are half price during happy hour, which ends at 7pm. Friendly service. Don't worry about the garlic; they provide free mouthwash in the restrooms.

One way I like to judge a Mediterranean restaurant is by their falafel. I ordered the falafel on a bed of salad with a creamy hummus sauce that wasnt tzatziki. The lettuce was meh, considering all the recent lettuce outbreaks, but the falafel! The falafel was amazingly crunchy, full of flavor and spice and paired so well with the hummus sauce! I will be returning to try something new!

The restaurant is a good size and nice looking. Parking sucks. The food was good but not fantastic. I ordered saffron lemon butter shrimp and with saffron rice. The shrimp was great , big ,plump and juicy but the rice was dry and needed a little salt some spice to wake it up from being somewhat bland. The menu is decent and they have good specials on certain days. Customer Service was very good and I will return again.

Awesome experience: food, atmosphere, location and service were exceptional. I was in Dallas for an educational conference. After a long day we just wanted to find a place that was NOT full of big screen TVs and a lot of chatter. This was the place. First, it's located in the bottom of a retro building from 50s. On nice nights the windows which are probably 10-12 feet tall can slide open giving the whole place a sidewalk cafe feeling without being "in" the street. The menu had a great variety to choose from, in my opinion. My girlfriend and I tried two drastically different dishes and shared them. Both were great. Our waitress was very helpful and checked on us often, but not too much. It was a great place for conversation over dinner. On our way out we saw this man we assumed was the manager. I stopped to tell him how much we enjoyed the place and when he found out that we hadn't tried their hummus he insisted on giving us a little "to go" box with naan as well. Awesome! This is the kind of experience you don't get with national chains... (And the hummus turned out to be great.)

I haven't tried everything on the menu, but everything I *have* ordered has been beautifully prepared and tastes great. Their baklava is delicious, and the falafel sandwiches are the best I've ever had (served with crisp homemade potato chips, and super convenient for a takeout lunch if you live or work nearby). Service is friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is warm. Highly recommend.
