We love this restaurant.
I'm a foodie, I could eat here daily.
Rarely do I eat red meat. Finally broke down and ordered the steak. By far the best I've ever tasted. I could be a carnivore. My experience with the best steak was a good 15 years ago. Beef from Argentina. The Heights chef knocks it out of the ballpark. Outstanding. Try the chicken pot pie, also the finest. Mijas at breakfast. Casual place with some of the best food in Dallas. Great people. Enjoy.
Small personal place with great service, good food and coffee. The first open Mic night was great. With the super server Tom getting up to sing also. Highly recommend !!
The best burger on this side if the Mississippi, Karin won "Best Burger in Dallas" three years in a row for good reason. Everything I've tried it's out of this world. I also recommend her home made macaroni, and you can't find a better steak at any steak house either.
Had pot roast for third time, each time it has been great. Maybe my new favorite meal in DFW, along with brisket enchiladas at The Porch and Snapper Mexicana at Javier’s.
The Lemon Drop is a great drink also. Thanks for the food!
Excellent food! Great staff! Relaxing atmosphere! I'll definitely be back and will recommend this place to my friends. Thank you for a wonderful brunch experience. 😀
We had the brisket pot roast and it was the best I have ever eaten! It was actually enough for two. Also, the service is consistently very good.
It was our 21st anniversary so we went for breakfast. Not our first visit but it was the first time having their jalapeño cheddar biscuits and gravy. They were THE best I'd ever had, so good that I ate so slowly until they were stone cold because I wanted to savor every tiny weensy bite! My plate was clean!
I'm currently snacking on a fresh-out-of-the-oven blueberry muffin and warm, tasty coffee. Thanks for the suggestion, Abby! I love having this place right around the corner from my yoga studio. Whether it's brunch, a mid-morning snack, lunch or dinner, I love the food, service, and atmosphere. Thank you!
Excellent breakfast yesterday. Chase and all the staff were friendly and considerate. House-made breakfast sausage was delicious. Basic Breakfast was what I ordered but it was wonderful. I will be going back to try lunch and dinner.
I love this place! The food is consistently good. The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is friendly. Highly recommend checking it out.
I tried The Heights for the first time today and had the oatmeal pancakes and biscuits and gravy and loves both. Highly recommend the oatmeal pancakes.
We were near the lake and were hungry. Found all the great reviews and gave it a try. The heights did not disappoint. Had the migas which was outstanding. In fact I could not eat it all. Will come back !
We have been here a few times at this point, the service alone beats anywhere else around, very attentive and quick! We sat down for breakfast at 930 and we're done by a little past 10! Earlier morning there wasn't much of a wait either! The food was very good too! They know what they're doing, I had the migas and they were amazing, definitely my favorite thing on the menu (that I've tried so far) my husband absolutely loves the hash, and we get the oatmeal pancakes for the kids and they love them! We will definitely be back soon! (Everything is also reasonably priced)
After one of our most stressful weekends in recent memory, my wife and I needed a slow morning. We happened upon The Heights for Sunday brunch and sat on the patio. This brunch experience was like a soothing balm. The Full City Rooster coffee was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and topped with fresh fruit. Even the location was great, since the adjacent parking lot functions as a buffer zone between the patio area and Abrams. We will most certainly be back.
Such fabulous food! We especially enjoyed how well the service was for us. The chicken pot pie I highly recommend, and the wedge salad was so crisp. They even put extra chicken for us. We plan on eating here all the time from now on.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Parking was pretty good here. I was surprised since Lakewood parking can be hit or miss.
Service was amazing. She was attentive but not in our face.
The pancakes were to DIE for. I'm still thinking about them. I also ordered the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were dense, which was fine, but the gravy was almost frothy? My texture alarm wouldn't let me eat them. I don't know if this was a me thing though. It definitely didn't have gravy consistency though.
The atmosphere was very pleasant. I'm not one for crowds and the table next to us was genial and very talkative, even with us, but the overall place was calming.
An amazing experience. Low key, comfortable atmosphere with amazing dishes at a good price. I had the pot roast which is one of the best I've had. I was there to celebrate an anniversary and could not have had a better experience. Staff is awesome. Hidden Gem.
Love love love this restaurant. I eat here whenever I’m in the Lakewood area. The Steak Frites and the deviled eggs are my personal go to. The Cesar salad and the Max & cheese where had by my companion. Mac & cheese was perfect. Not super runny but not to thick and the perfect amount of crumb. My Steak Frites was absolutely delish. Steak was cooked to perfection and the roasted potatoes were were well seasoned. The apple side salad was a great balance of sweet to the savory flavors. And the deviled eggs are a great starter. They have slight kick as a finish from the dollop of Sriracha. Overall a great menu. We had to take dessert to go because we were so full from dinner. This is a definite must try if you are in the Lakewood area.
The food here was good and our waiter was very friendly. This place reminds me of your favorite neighborhood bar.
Came with friends after hearing all of the great things about the wings. Everyone at my table got the wings so I wanted to change it up. I got the Pot Roast and was not disappointed. The collards were a little different than what I’m used to but were still very good. My first glass of wine was not a “good pour” (I used to sell wine so I know). I commented about it to my waitress in a teasing manner and she made it right with the 2nd glass. I will definitely be back. Great food and great service.
there was a bartender named Joe and he was phenomenal. He was maybe mixed with black or something, but this guy was very courteous and knew a lot about many drinks. If you asked him about any dish on the menu he was well-informed.
Wonderful brunchy experience 🙌
Basic 2 egg breakfast with a scramble and ham. SO delicious! Btw Jalapeño Cheddar BISCUITS 🎉🎉🎉
Deb was fantastic and added to the experience ❤️
