I liked everything about my first time experience here. The place was clean and the layout and lighting of the restaurant was nice. Since this was my first time I ordered spinach artichoke dip, catfish bites, fried green tomatoes and shrimp plate. Everything was GREAT. My server was pleasant and didn't mind my numerous request for more condiments for my food. I recommend NOLA and I will be a returning customer. My visit was October 27th, 2017.

Loved it! Family is from NO so I'm picky about my Creole/Cajun food. I was staying across the street so all my food was to go. Had the BBQ Shrimp and Grits, Crawfish Fritters and Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce. It was all OUTSTANDING. Had a Sazerac while waiting which was 100% spot on. The picked red onions in the BBQ Shrimp made the dish. Highly recommend NOLA when you are downtown.

The combination of quantity and festive atmosphere along with great food presentation and taste makes this spot an excellent Southern Brasseri. The waiter was cool too!!

Came here for a quick lunch with my coworker and overall we were satisfied with the food and customer service. They have a lunch menu you can order from (with limited options) and I ordered the soup and salad (Maison add blackened shrimp and gumbo). The food came out fairly quickly although they were slightly busy. I would definitely come back again to try their fried catfish and drinks!

Service was great great and friendly! The servers are passionate and love the food, which translates to excellent recommendations! We had the alligator bites, the fish and chip special (cod) and the NOLA burger. The NOLA burger was cooked perfectly! Everything was tender and had excellent cajun flavor. All went perfectly with an Abita Amber cold beer!

Went to this restaurant with a friend for a semi early lunch. Wasn’t busy during our time, friendly staff as well (and attentive). Ordered the strawberry walnut salad (I recommend), and the crawfish Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese wasn’t too bad (I added a bit a hot sauce to give it some more flavor).

After returning from our anniversary getaway,we were looking for a different place to eat. I Google cajun food, and this spot popped up. The place is very clean, and the setup had a nice vibe. The water was very pleasant and helpful in making our food selections. The food came pretty quick and smelled just like home cooking. When I say the food was delicious, it was delicious down to the very last drop! It was the perfect ending to a very memorable 18th wedding anniversary getaway.

I was in town visiting from Memphis and stumbled across this place because they had bread pudding which I love! The atmosphere is very nice..bougie! The bartender was very friendly and attentive although it was just her. I got the Crawfish Creole Pasta. It was delicious! My mother had The Who Dat Special with the Fried Catfish along with fries and slaw. The slaw was disgusting but everything else was good. Their only vice is that they do not have sweet tea..only unsweetened. The bread pudding was good but it contains pecans! Give this place a try in downtown Dallas. Oh and I also had the spinach dip and gator bites as an appetizer. Delicious!! I will be back here next time! ♥️

The food is amazing! Staff was very attentive & friendly. Thanks to Jose & Cherish for an awesome experience. This is a diamond in the rough. A great place for a romantic dinner. The Truffle Fries & Bacon wrapped Boudin are great appetizers. The Gumbo was amazing & the Red beans & rice also. We also love the Cajun Pasta. The food was well seasoned. Very Good portions. Cocktails were fantastic. Well worth your time & $$.

Went for happy hour. There was only one other table when my friend and I was there. I believe two others came in for happy hour later on. One server. I got a blackberry mojitos and a margarita. My friend got two strawberry mojitos. Then we split the catfish fries, spinach dip and truffle fries. The food was good except the stale pita. The drinks tasted good but they were… I don’t want to say weak but it could have been stronger. It just didn’t seem like a balanced ratio of alcohol to mix.

Who-dat done perfected that New Orleans cuisine. I tell you who, Jose has! The owner of NOLA Brasserie has brought the delectable, succulent and authentic pallet pleasing pleasures of the great chefs and recipes from Bourbon Street to Frenchman and every place between there in New Orleans. Yes, even a little of Melba's... Mother's..and the like. As a season travel nurse, I have frequented the knockoffs, wannabees and neverbees in an attempt to duplicate the aromas and end product of the most authentic New Orleans cuisine you can experience.... Again, Jose's NOLA Brasserie, will not disappoint you! Please LIKE if this helps and FOLLOW ME so that I can continue to share.

This is a typical sea food place where u get a lot of options of Cajun cuisine. I had a blackened red fish and it was a little overcooked otherwise everything else was good.. including the cat fish finger..

This is definitely what I like to call “A perfect vibe”. All The food tasted amazing, there was so much flavor! The size of the restaurant is a perfect midsize too so it’s not too crowded. There’s a nice view of downtown and perfect natural lighting all through the establishment. The seating outside is nice as well- and as a plus the pillars act as some privacy too. The drinks are really good and they have a bar that’s perfect if you just want to have a solo experience. So whether you’re dining in with friends, want a nice little spot for yourself or even a quick rendezvous with babe - THIS IS YOUR PLACE! (IG @ jaylokafor)
